Can someone unyaff the tattoo dump for me? - myTouch 3G, Magic Android Development

i cant get this darn unyaffs.exe to work and i dont have a linux box to do it with
can someone unyaffs the userdata.img and system.img from this dump and repost as a zip for me?

the link is broken, if you post up the system.img on mediafire or somewhere ill unyaffs it for you

OLiFE prime offline, need system.img, boot.img, recovery.img

Hey guys,
it seems that the original OLiFE.tar.gz file with system.img, recovery.img and boot.img is offline, and i need these files for flashing
it with frankstools.
Has anybody got a copy of the OLiFE.tar.gz or can explain to me how to get the system.img, recovery.img and boot.img out
of a nvflash android rom?

If you already have an android rom installed use the olife -> backup -> stock option and then copy the files from the backup folder to the images folder
Ok any nvflashable image has this three components included, they are just named blob.APP, this is system.img, blob.LNX, this is boot.img, and blob.SOS, this is recovery.img.
Just rename them and you have your files.

Cheers couldn't remember the files to re-name, ill chuck that up on the install guide
Any chance someone still has a valid link? I’ve dug up an old TF101 which could still be useful on Ubuntu…

How to extract S6 system.img

Hello, I want to create my own personal ROM but have no luck in extracting the system.img.
I have used unyaffs, ext2explore and ext4 extractor but they all give errors.
What program do I use to extract it? Thanks

Can I edit the system.img file of Android nougat build? I used simg2img and make_ext4fs. If I flash the device, the repacked system.img, the device bricks. Is it possible to edit the image file? If yes, How?

Help: Extracting ROM, zips, and .img

Hi
i want to know if there is a way to extract and repack the OP6 rom
i found a way to extract the zip into .img files, and found a program that can extract the .img files into standard files/folders
but i still have yet to find a way to repack the files back into a .img to flash via fastboot
can anyone help please.

Ohh, you want to pack the img again, i think linux is the easiest way to go forward.

you can extract the payload.bin with payload extracter:

Yes, the tool extracts payload.bin and further extracts boot.img, system.img, vendor.img etc and allows you to work on them and will repack them after :highfive:
