Too small icons and display problems - Touch Diamond2, Pure Themes and Apps

Hi, I'm using the Topaz Essentials Firmware V2.2.1 on my Topaz and I have some graphic problems with several apps.
I attached two images, one of my Topaz with the programm, and another with the same programm run on an Windows Mobile 6.1 Device Emulator.
The problem is that the icons on the bottom are to small and also the text on the top is too small and moreover in the middle textbox i have no text where there should be one.
Is there anything I can do to get this working?

Replace WM6 cprog.exe with the one in WM5

Any idea about replacine of the cprog.exe module in WM6 ROM with the one in WM5? I tried once but did not success. Is any other modules or files or some special registry items associated with the module cprog.exe?
The reason why I want to replace the module is because it is not as good as the module in WM5. Firstly, the internal smartdial of the module in WM6 conflict with the Celedial, which is a much better plugins than the internal one. Secondly, the WM6 cprog.exe cannot support call connecting and per-minute vibration fuction which are very helpful for avoiding of the strong irradiation before connecting of the call and provided by some softwares such as PhoneAlarm.
No answer? Is there nobody even meet the problem of no vibration at the calling connection under WM6?
Look at cprog dependencies and then ask yourself is it possible to do it

I can extract the cprog.exe module and replace it with WM5 cprog.exe module. After replacement the calling interface cannot be activated. How can I look for the dependencies? Can you find out the associated files? Do you have any tools for doing this?
Here are the modules and the texts extracted from the modules
thank
thank you very much
Hi,
I'm currently trying to fix some annoying display bugs in the dialer :
- Wrong icon displaying over text (that souldn't even show) on the "Contacts" button when in tiled (icons rather than text) mode
- "Keyboard" icon displaying anywhere (almost OK in portrait mode, then totally offset in landscape mode, then still offset when back in portrait mode)
- A big chunk of the softkeybar is displayed sourrounding the icon ; unfortunately, it's not the part where the keybord icon is, but where it shoud be (far right) under WM 6.5. The problem with 6.5.x is its not there, but in the middle of the bar. It's hard to notice when you have a solid background bar, but it's horrible with a skinned or transparent softkey bar !
So far, I found by browsig cprog.exe with an hex editor that it used another resource file : commctrl.dll, which in turn uses a matching commctrl.dll.<your country code>.mui.
I'm now going to study them.

Shadow_Sliding Panels Questions
Hi Ricky
This is exactly the functionality I am looking for. Need some help though with the installation. Although I am new to this I am technical and had no problems upgrading my Tornado WM5 to WM6 using Nitrogen's Tornado_WM6_Platinum...sp1.rar...
1/ CHomeHelp references StartMenu/Accessories/ThemeChanger. I could not find that.
2/ I followed the instructions but find that with both Shadow and SlidingPanels that I get the right colours and top and bottom horizontal bars but the middle area is blank. If I change the Home Screen to Wireless Windows every displays as it should.
Any suggestions?
By the way, this set up is my fall-back one. I would have loved to have used "illi_WM6.1_remade_by_rickwyatt_v2a.zip". My problem there though was I could not find the Bluetooth voice dial (add voice tag) command, and the InfraRed was dead even though the phone interface indicated it was on and functioning.
I would be happy with either a functioning Shadow_SlidingPanels OR your WM6.1 remake to support voice tag and IR.
Much appreciate any help you can give me. I think the work you and others on this thread do is amazing.

AMAZING
but link broken.....
now up ready for download
Managed to find time to try this.
It doesnt seem to work with my cooked WM6.1 ROM. My device freeze and require a reflash. I also tried with Blackdragon_860's Breeze release but the same happen.
1) Does it only work with your Neo ROM?
2) Does your Neo ROM support threaded sms?
Thanks Rick for all you help.
This crashed my phone and I also had to re-flash the rom.

Display cell info on sliding panel

Hi guys , I have the Vox with WM6.1 CLEAN v1.4 by fireburned on it.
I have activated channels and configured channel 50 ( display cell info.) . I am on Voda UK, so they send out your local dialling code on to this channel.
When i load most themes (e.g Wireless home theme, windows home screen) the cell info is there, and updated as I would want.
I have recently installed Fring, and it's on that theme homescreen too. but I cannot get it to work on any sliding panel screen, I have even tried copy and paste the relevent lines from a working homescreen .xml into a sliding panel one, but to no avail.
Does anybody know a plug-in that will display cell info on a sliding panel homescreen.
Many Thanks,
Tony.

Sorry to bump, I assume this is not possible?
You would have to write a plugin. Look in the Smartphone General Subforum, there is a guy who wrote a tasks plugin, maybe he can help you!
Hi,
You can see here how an homescreen is written with different plugins :

For your question, see BigCityLifeSkin3 and GrassSkin3 with SmartMonitor plugin.
Bye.

M2D on HTC Kaiser

Hi everyone,
I own a HTC TyTN II (Kaiser) with WM6.1 and I have been trying to install the Manila theme on it. I have used this version, from here, and also another version that I don't remember where I got it from. Both times I got the samen problem. I got the home screen, but a lot of the text and functionality was missing (call history, 1 new voicemail) and also there was no text and functionality in the bottombar of the screen. I was also missing text and functionality on a lot of the other pages, like the settings screen had no functionality whatsoever.
I tried installing a theme on top of it, but after that TouchFlo won't open anymore. It says 'Tap here to start TouchFlo', when I click it goes to 'Starting TouchFlo' and then it just goes back to 'Tap here to start TouchFlo'. I tried deleting everything and then reinstalling, but its still the same..
Can anybody help me with this?
Thanks!
Installing M2D and M2D Themes for Noobs by denco7
I now have the patched version of M2d from here installed, as well as the cabs (#2 to 6)
The TouchFlo problem seems to be solved, but M2D is still not really functional. Lots of text and functionality is still missing, as well as text+functionality in the bottombar. Also scrolling doesn't work in the contacts page and the programs page.
I can't find a fix for this in the link posted above. Anybody have any ideas about this? I can post pictures of how it looks now if that would help

Windows Mobile 6.5 Taskbar

The only thing I hate about my new Tilt 2 is that horrible black WM taskbar. I want some type of more colorful, 3d task bar as well as come better icons. I've researched for the past 3 nights and all i've gotten is a headache. The tsowens taskbars and stuff only change icons. That's my secondary priority...Plus, i want to change some of his icons to a few of the extras he provided. He mentions that there are instructions to do so in another post but i could never find them. Could someone please guide me or show me a better solution? I really don't want to mess up my new Tilt 2...
The icons are all usauly in the windows folder. So get new icons, get the correct file names, download total commander and replace them with that.
About the colour change try UITweaker there is loads of settings for changing colours in there.
Win Mob 6.5
Yes you are right on the part of Windows Mobile 7. It would surely be "game changing". The new WM 7 is designed to be used on devices with touchscreen only with QWERTY keyboards.Even surfing is made easier with "tabbed" browsing, except you can switch tabs by shaking the phone.
Win Mob 6.5
Well, the start menu cannot be customized from the Honeycomb Menu. But let me add a point here, the honeycomb menu of winmo 6.5 is globally recognized as user-friendly menu because it makes the icons more distinguishable.
It would be handy to be able to change the icon location and look, without hacking into the registry.
