I have a Touch Diamond , it works ok, but , when I try to turn on both Wi-fi and bluetooth it does nothing ! Does anybody have the same problem ? Are any solutions to this ?

I have a slightly different problem, on my diamond, if I press tun on wi-fi, nothing happens, only the rainbow circle shows, and than, the wireless is still off. Change radio, change rom, but the same! Please, help.

Good news: Navman 4410 (SP1) installed from the box up and running on Qtek S100!
Bad news: Upgrading to SP2 from Navman site makes the program end after loading maps.
Any ideas?

Tryed all kinds of setting, resetting, different SD-cards, reloading and so on. Suddenly it works now. Sorry I cannot tell exactly what was triggering it to start again. Just understand that it can be done.

Well, like the norwegian said checking the drive direction lights on his brothers car: Working, not working, working, not working...
It was not possible to start Navman again although no changes had been done since it was up and running yesterday. Something makes the program quit after reading the maps. Bluetooth connection looks ok with single blinks as long as the program is up. No problem with any other program exept that when you untick screen taps sound it has no effect.
To continue this one man show: You can start Navman 4410 on Qtek S100 with a magic trick, press left button several times just after launching the program and before the picture comes up, five times may work but to be sure make it ten or fifteen times! Also, you can use Redknows Bluetooth GPS for PC/PDA instead of the Navman original GPS (no password set)
Asked Navman for help but their answer was that they had not tested with Qtek S100.
My XDAII wont connect to GPS. I have tomtom5 installed on my xdaII and have tried a BT GPS receiver and a wired one. It will ask you the device type unpon installation and then the port number.
no i dea which port to use and have tried then all anyway. I get a message no device connected. I cannot keep my BT device connect when i pair it either. Tried this on a XDAIIs aswell and exactly same prob.
Please help!!
i would try unchecking "recieve all beam files" in connections
to release com1
and try once more
Turn off beams releases com 1 for the wired gps. I think wired gps is the way to go if you need it for incar use only, I see far too many problems with bluetooth and if you have no sense of direction like me it is very annoying when the bluetooth decides to start acting stupid.

I have just got a Wizard off ebay running WM6 which has TomTom6 installed. I have a generic bluetooth GPS receiver which works fine the first time I use it after pairing, but then as soon as the device is turned off via the softoff switch, it is not seen again. I have to remove the Bluetooth connection and port, then re-add it all. Once I repeat the process, it works find again until the next time it is turned off.
I have tried this with 2 different bluetooth gps units, both of which work fine for my friends so I suspect it is something wrong with either the Wizard or a setting somewhere.
I am new to all this so dont know what information I should post to help get advice but can provide any info you guys need.
Can anyone offer me and suggestions or pointers ?

I have the same problem.
GPS pairing + COM config OK.
Then I start TOMTOM 6 and all is working fine.
Now if I switch off my GPS, and leave Tomtom, then switch on my GPS and start TOMTOM, I have a message telling me my GPS wants to connect to my wizard. So I must redo the pairing (code 0000) + the com port configuration.
I have this problem since WM6 (I tried mUn, XPlore 1.0, 1.1, Core 2.0x, and now i'm with XM6).
No problem under WM5.
GPS is XLock256 (sold by Orange in France).
Anybody know what is happening ?

Install TomTom, or if it's installed all is ok.
unpair your GPS unit.
Reset the GPS unit with the power button (normally by holding it)
Now Pair the GPS Device.
go to com Ports, and add a outgoing Port (Whatever port is available, me somehow I'm hooked to 7)
Now start TomTom
go to settings, GPS Config and choose other Bluetooth GPS (now wait)
Switch of and on again your GPS receiver, because it could be in a powersave mode, but still do it.
Choose your chosen port (me as said 7)
.......patience, now it should connect
Now it should be ok.
Play with it for a while, and close the app in it's specified way.
Now it should start as normal.
If you follow these instructions to the letter it works.
I don't see what I missed before, but apllying your procedure solved the problem.

Normally it's the Auto Powersave which causes the problems, 1 year ago it took me 6 weeks to figure this out.
I'm having the exact same problem since upgrading to WM6 and despite following these instructions numerous times, every time I relaunch TomTom I get a prompt asking if I want to pair my GPS. If I select no, I get prompetd about every 5 seconds until I select yes at which point my existing pairing is deleted and a new one created. This pairing then lasts for the current TomTom session but the cycle restarts all over again when I relaunch TomTom and turn on my GPS again.
WM5 was completely flawless with the way it handled my GPS connection so what is different that is causing this behaviour?

I have installed TOMTOM 6 on my pda, but when I try to run the program the backlight goes off. I have tried the same software and installed it exactly I did on XDA II. The other PDA TomTOm6 works fine but on my XDA II the backlight goes off. I don't know why...anyone having same problems??? or anyone knows how can i fix this problem.

I cannot find any software or installation file which I can use to patch this problem. I have found some people here are saying to alter some registry settings while installation but that is for TomTom 5 and not 6.
If you have a patch please do post it here or send the link. that will be really helpful.

ello, I have anoter problem now, My TomTom does not recognise my GPS Reciver. When I connect the GPS Reciver to cig lighter in car it sswitches on but TomTom 6 does not detect anything. Is there any software which I need to install to make my Recivier work?
Both GPS not working, TOMTOM Wiired GPS use to work but now that doesnt work either. it does switch on my TomTom 6 doesnt detect it.

whenever i want to enable wifi on my phone in Comm manager, i click on Wifi tab and ( waiting icon appears ) then nothing happens. when i bought my phone, everything worked correctly but after HARD SPL my phone n Changing to ENERGY Rom 2.0 then Official HTC arabic rom now , i have this problem.
in another way when i want to enable it via Wireless LAN tab
when i click on Turn on Wireless Lan ... then nothing happens ! it's just like clicking in a free space in the screen.
is the problem because of changing Radio or will it be solved by changing radio version?
