HTC TyTN Support
Does anyone have any links to HTC support (where the AT&T WM6.1 ROM update will eventually appear)? The US HTC support site doesn't even have any links for the current release (AT&T Tilt, TyTn II, etc.). Thanks.

Thanks! I had found a similar page this morning, but it only had FAQ and User Guides buttons/links.
It will be time to change my sig soon! I've got my new Tilt the way I like it (bypassed the AT&T bloat via soft-reset after initial setup), and will do that when the 6.1 ROM is out.
hey there.
i hope i am posting in the right area. i am interested in buying an HTC HD and i would like too know if it will be compatible with winMo 6.5 & 7. i don't want to buy a phone an stay with the old OS. And also if they will be compatible with the HTC Diamond.
Thanks..

WM6.5 can be ported to any HTC device by the chefs on here
I havn't seen enough info about WM7. MS might be enforcing HW requirements, we'll have to see what they do in the fullness of time...
Dave
thanks
hope to be in an official ROM though.
I was wondering if there was any rom or any app that extract this from the new phones
also i just saw on the internet that the diamond2 its coming to sprint on july 1 month after my birthday
it says here
http://pocketnow.com/index.php?a=portal_detail&t=news&id=6947
It's on a lot of ROMs these days. Anything that has TouchFLO 3 should have it.
o ok thanks man
also on the diamond2 coming in july on sprint even on the page says but is it true?
it's not TouchFlo 3
it's TouchFlo 3D v2
Oh, I was going by what it said in the about screen on mine: Version 3.0 (build 31807).
here's a bunch of screenshots of what you can have on a Diamond/Fuze http://www.fuzemobility.com/lets-take-a-walk-through-tf3dthe-tp2-edition/
on an HD you'll likely just use Dutty's ROM
hehe.. it is confusing. it is the 2nd edition of v3 of touchflo
I recently upgraded to a T-Mobile MDA Compact V and having spent a few hours playing around with a customised version of the HTC Touch Diamond2 interface I used the Hard-SPL to flash the ROM with an original ROM, which I would like to add is much better.
I then starting thinking whether it is possible to replace the Windows based OS with the latest version of Andriod packaged with the HTC Hero. The HTC Touch Diamond2 and the HTC Hero appear to have quite a few similarities in terms of specifications so would it really be difficult to install Andriod...???
If any one knows then please enlighten the rest of us.
Thanks,
Khaz

A lot of people are working on Android ports for WM devices. Having said that, I would wait (unless you are a programmer, someone with the knowledge to do this, or simply an adventurer with high chances of getting an expensive paperweight )
Look in the threads (or Google) for Android port +WM or something like that. Good luck
BTW, you should have posted this in the Q&A section...
Anyone know of something I'm missing in my reading? I don't really mind waiting for the official release but I was using 6.5 on my Treo Pro and it's hard to go back to 6.1 on my new TP2. Thanks for any feedback provided!

the only reason you were able to run this on your treo pro is because the unlocker for treo pro has already been completed. The tp2's unlocker is currently being worked on. Until the locker no custom roms are possible. A custom rom will be the only way to run 6.5 without the official update.
