Working bluetooth headsets - myTouch 3G, Magic Android Development

Hi
As I understand it, the Bluetooth implementation for the various Hero ROMS for Magic is still not quite functionel.
But I have also seen references to some people having specific Bluetooth headset working anyways.
Could anyone tell me if they have a BT headset actually fully working with a Hero ROM - and which make(s) and model(s) they are?

AD2P Profiles and headsets. General Question.

Hi,
Im aware of the latest chips carrying AD2P - basically Im trying to find out how to tell if my XDA2i has this profile fitted and what headsets are currently available. Ive seen some posts re the HT820, but would like to keep to Jabra if possible. The BT800 has Bluetooth 1.2 - does this guarantee the AD"P profiel and does anybody have experience of this combination.
Thanks.
try doing a search for a2dp in the forums
as far as i know then the broadcom bluetooth stack
if installed will enable a2dp but remove the headset profile support
havent heard anybody having support for both

BT stack problems - need working A2DP for PDA2

Hi, I have read a lot about updating the BT stack to allow for A2DP on my PDA2, and especially a previous post (XDA2i - bluetooth stuff - newbie question) where the solution was to install the BroadcomCorporation BT-PPC AV.cab file. I did this and it does give me the High Quality Audio profile when bonding and the bonding process seems to work fine. However this results in no sound from my PDA, nor any from the headphones when playing audio! (which by the way are the Blueant BT headphones). Headset mode works fine still. I have tried all the different versions of the BT stack on the ftp site but no joy. Is there something else I need to do to get this working, and is this, maybe, a problem with the PH10D, but not PH10C ??
I am really stumped so any help, suggsetions or pointers greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Can bluetooth do this?

I go bike riding (pushbike, not motorbike) with groups of people sometimes, and we've been listening to music using the built in speaker of my BlueAngel. Of couse the volume isn't great especially once it's safely back in it's holster.
So while we were out the other day, we started thinking of solutions.... We started wondering if bluetooth could be useful to us.
Can we play music out to ordinary bluetooth headsets?
Can we send to multiple headsets at once?
Extending onto the idea, is it possible to use bluetooth headsets as intercom type things (using some software on the BA maybe)?
I don't have any bluetooth devices beyond the BA, so I can't test
In case it matters, Im currently running 2005 on my device. I am considering going back to 2003SE though... Is there anything I would need to know in that department?
No one knows?
Anyone with access to multiple bluetooth headsets or sets of bluetooth headphones able to see if you can do it?
try doing a search for a2dp
most of what you are asking have been
up 1024 times before
doubt you would find info about anything but the first q though
the others i dont think is possible
also bluetooth headset range seem to crash and burn after 2-3m
personaly i use these

Wired headset audio routing problem

Hello all
I don't know if it is just me, but wired headset audio routing is not working with new kernel images. I've seen it working with previous kernels but I can't remember which works.
Is it happening to you? Can someone tell me if it is a kernel or build issue?
Thanks to everybody and specially to dzo
Same here, no audio output to wired headset. Even phone's speaker doesn't turn off when headset is connected (if it plays something).
It is the greatest feature that I am missing - I cannot connect Pola100 with Android to my car audio system (hands free and music).
And I have never used any zImage which worked with it.
A long time ago it used to work, but you needed to stop audio playback before connecting wired headset. After this, hopefully it worked sometimes.
kallt_kaffe has answered me in Linux and Android for Vogue thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=7007716&postcount=5444). He says that maybe it could be fixed with kernel inside VaniljEclair RLS7 package.
I can't test it until I go back home after work. Can someone check if it is fixed?
No luck, still doesn't work

[Q] Suggest a ROM for bluetooth audio and Wiimote support??

What I'm looking for is a custom ROM that will let my Infuse 4g connect to a Wiimote so I can use it for emulators. I've tried CM7.2, and it allows the connection, but the bluetooth connections to headphones and speakers is completely awful. I use bluetooth all the time so this doesn't work. I've also tried Zeus and R3velation too, and the bluetooth works fine, but they can't connect a Wiimote. I read somewhere that it has something to do with the bluetooth stack, but I honestly don't know what that means.
Does anybody know of a custom ROM that has working bluetooth audio and the proper stack to allow Wiimote connection?
Of course it needs to be stable and have the basic functionalities.
Thanks for any help!
I am sorry to say that our phones biggest weakness seem to be the bluetooth as I wanated to do this also and it did not work. I even brought a small bluetooth keyboard to try to do the same thing and I could not get it to work.
