Best Skin Ever, Invisible Shield, etc. - Touch Pro2 CDMA

Hey everyone!
I'm loving my Verizon TP2, but I'm soo nervous to drop the gorgeous device. I want to add a case to it, preferably a clear skin to prevent extra weight since it already weighs 10lbs. The problem I'm having is that all the skins so far are for the global unlocked edition. I still have the "Remove Before Use" sticker on the front since I don't want to scratch it!
Has anyone seen a skin for the CDMA version yet? How about a thin case?

Ghost Armor
Ghost Armor has what you are looking for. It was created from a Verizon version so it should work great. I believe it is better that the invisible shield because it doesn't have that orange peel type surface which I hate. better quality too.
here are some video shots of it being hit by a weed eater.

Dumb question. This is my first flat screen as I am coming from a 6800 which had a frame around the screen. Your choices are full body and screen only. Does screen only mean the entire front top to bottom or it just fits over the touch screen area? I am thinking that would look like kaka but the site isn't clear.
I have been using Invisible Shield for a while. I don't like the mat finish so much so this looks like it is made out of the same material but with a different finish.

Ghost Armor
The screen only is just that... Only the screen. no border or anything else.
The entire kit has been die cut for the sides and back as well. On my G1 phone there was even a piece for the charging flap.
Also it is not the same material as the invisible shield or any of those other brands. They use the same material as the invisible bra that people can buy and put on their cars. This material is used for helicopter blades and has a different make up and feel all together. I personally wont use anything else.

anyone else used Ghost Armor?

Well I was about to oder the ghost armor for my verizon tp2 and it seems they dont cary it anymore??
The link you provided suddenly changed to GSM version of the skin...
Quoting from the website...
"**Please Note: This product fits the European version, not the T-Mobile or the Verizon."

Yeah I just noticed that myself. I will call my buddy and ask when the real deal will be ready to ship. to me personally it is worth the wait.
I will post when I find out.

THat's odd, from what I've seen the CDMA version is the same shape as the International GSM version. I thought T-mobile was the only one who messed with the shape

I think it is...essentially. The difference is that the phones that have the 3.5mm headphone jack (T-mobile, Verizon) have the usb connector offset to the left, and that whole area at the bottom of the phone is slightly wider.
That's also the reason why the TP2 specific cradles and active car mounts don't fit either.

The T-Mobile Touch Pro 2 doesn't have a 3.5 mm headphone jack, none of the GSM versions do, only the CDMA Models.

SKINS
I was Reading another Forum and someone had found out the hard way that the American Version is slightly wider and the usb port is offset slightly. The International unlocked gsm version will NOT work with your T-Mobile Phone.

Apologies...shouldn't have spoken without looking closer. Good to know it won't fit before I ordered one...still bummed VZ didn't put SOMETHING in the kit for screen protection. Shoot...the one I had on my ATT Fuze lasted a year!

Yep, I had a Fuze too, that was a really good one that came with it! It's weird, my T-Mobile Touch Pro 2 came with a screen protector and headphones, but not an extra stylus, but my Verizon Touch Pro 2 came with no screen protector or headphones, but an extra stylus. I remember getting both with my Fuze and Tilt, man these companies are getting chincy!

Yeah - no case, headphones or screen protector in the VZ one. AND, to top it off, the wall charger is ALSO the stinking USB cable...so I have to go buy a second charger so I can leave one at home in the wall socket and keep the USB cable in my laptop bag! That didn't impress me very much.

The T-Mobile one comes with the same set up. They did include a case, though it has no belt clip or anything on it, it's more like a wallet for the TP2 and less like a case.

They added a 2.5 mm headphone jack plug and shifted the USB port over. They are not the same. I have both.

Sweet - just placed mine too.

Does anyone have any experience with Ghost Armor an resistive touch screen devices? How does the material feel when swiping your finger/stylus across? Is it "sticky" and impair your ability for quick motions? I've heard BodyGuardz has the best feel to it. Just curious to get your opinions.
Thanks

I havent used ghost armor before, in fact i havent heard of it untill after the verizon TP2 came out lol.
I had invisible shield and I loved it, but didnt like the "sticky" feel you're describint at first. I got use to it though and didnt mind it after a while.
The ghost armor skin supposedly eliminates the orange peel look, thats why I want to try it.
I'll post back with pics if you'd like to show how it looks on TP2 once I get it in and installed.
Hopefully thats soon, i'm sick of looking at "Remove before use" across my screen lol.

Problem with a seller with that many feedback is, you can go months with purely negative feedback before it affects the % significantly.
The guy's a drop shipper. I actuallly bought a couple of Galaxy Portal cases and some SGS screen protectors from him last week. Had no problems with delivery on the stuff I ordered from him. I asked about the silicone SGS cases at the time and he told me he was currently out of stock - that's why I ended up buying the Zenus case.
ok, well ill order one up at £3.50 you cant really go wrong
If anyone prefers amazon,
heres a link to the item I bought mine from (it was despatched on Monday)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003U6VTOC/ref=oss_product
I ordered one of those yesterday and received an email through to say it had been despatched, hopefully it'll arrive soon.
Just a quick follow up to this, it arrived after a couple of days and for the money the case is great. It fits well and isn't too thick and does it's job of making the phone a lot less slippy.
The screen protector shipped with it was a Terrapin one which is not bad although the edges didn't stick brilliantly.
One thing of note for a few phone calls people were complaining that I sounded muffled and finally I checked the mic and the hole for it in the case was cut but it hadn't gone all of the way through, no wonder people had trouble hearing me.
lol, yea my gfs turned up, i ordered mine the day after here and 3 extra days later it isnt here lol.
hers like you said was a really good fit, surprising for the money, all slots lined up and for £3 even the camera cutout has a small bevel
really good value for money, but if you want a decent screen protector dont buy this one because its included, imho its crap, well compared to my martin fields
The wife got one of these for her galaxy..she thinks its ok, however she is going to buy a jelly one as well as this one gets dusty and covered in little hairs (so she tells me!)
Also the screen protectors edges don't stick very very well.
She'll keep you posted on the jelly one (but its coming from hong kong..so it may be a while!)
as far as im aware its pretty much jelly anyway, i would think the real 'wobbly' ones lol would attract more lint etc

However, do you know if these i9000 case going to be compatible with samsung Vibrant
it's of the same phone design, no difference in the buttons cut outs
the only difference is in the front facing camera which some of the USA carriers are missing
those cases doesn't cover the front anyways, so it's not an issue

Jogging Armband for the N1

Doing a bit of research and came across these:
* Tuneband for Nexus One (US Amazon)
http://www.amazon.com/Tuneband-Grantwood-Technologys-Silicone-Protector/dp/B003GMHJAS
* iGadgitz (UK Amazon)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/iGadgitz-Neoprene-Sports-Jogging-Armband/dp/B003QJ6MR2/ref=pd_rhf_p_t_1
* Belkin Sports Armband for iPhone 3GS (UK Amazon)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B002CVCK...de=asn&creative=22206&creativeASIN=B002CVCK0S
And a few others.
Also - a lot of iPhone straps, but not a lot of confirmation, despite the similar dimensions, that the N1 will fit snuggly.
Anyone tried any of these who can advise on which are good \ bad? Any good ones I have missed?
There was a lot of arkmband discussion on another thread...maybe some scoop there.
Found it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=672443&highlight=armband
I rock the tuneband, its solid enough... i wish the strap was wider for a bit more support for the phone but definitely does the job...

Just Ordered the Iarmband one. Will let you know how it fits when it gets here.

Slip it in between your heart rate monitor band its not in the best position but it works for me.

I run with the Belkin armband (from when I had an iPhone), and sony bluetooth earphones. I find it fits the Nexus quite snugly, the sound quality is great even while sprinting and no cables!

It fits perfectly, but I haven't dared to do hard sprinting with it yet, since it's not a full coverage. It's like a silicon sleeve and the band goes through the back of the sleeve.

This works perfectly for me. The normal way of using it with the iPhone will not work with the nexus because the hole for the 3.5mm jack is on the wrong side. Rather than destroy the thing, I put it on upside-down and it has two holes on the bottom, one of which I can use. Also this way the flap that allows you to slide the phone in and that's supposed to keep the phone inside the thing is on the top and somewhat secure thanks to the 3.5mm plug. Also, I've used it on about 15-20 different runs and it's never bothered me or showed any signs of wear.

Never even felt it was there, i can still swype text. Never really even thought it would be comfortable. I had to put it up higher than my bicep... If you have over 17" Biceps this would be a uncomfortable product.

Try the one I linked to. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be disappointed.
non of these places ship to Australia
I use the Belkin Sport Armband - but I wear it around my wrist so the N1 ends up riding like a big flat watch. The RunKeeper app is really well done, and wearing it like this allows me to see pace and distance, etc.
I haven't tried it with headphones yet.
I just got my Tuneband a couple of days ago. The days I got it I used it one the treadmill for a 30min jog at 6mph and no issues. Yesterday I used it at the gym on the weight machines and no issues either. I figure if it the N1 did pop out at least the speaker wire should keep it from hitting the floor. But it felt solid the whole time. Good product, especially when it was 12.99(?) on sale at amazon.
I ended up buying some iphone armband for like $7aud. Went for a 10KM jog the other weekend, and i cant fault it!!!
I had to cut a hole for the nexus one head fone jack but other than that perfect! Just on the outside of the where the phone sat was sweaty but inside not one drop!

Sprint has hard cases for Arrive in stores now, ready for the 20th. I got to take a look at it but didn't get a price.
They have the holsters and shell style cases think the shell is just the gel though. I like the holster its not bulky but seems it may fall out easy cuz it don't have a front fascia plate.

My wife tried it in the store, it is not bad actually. Not too bulky, looks kind of fancy.
But I really just want a good screen protector, my sprint store had none.
Ya, I don't like that their screen protectors only cover the viewing part of the screen, not the entire glass front.....I'm going to look into phantomSkins and see if they have them yet. Thanks for the info.
I remember that there were none screen protectors for 7 PRO in february (so i think that i will not buy it now) but i remember that i found some official HTC shop, saying that it will be aviable in march. Original screen protectors, go & buy them

Doesn't the Arrive use Gorilla Glass or whatever the EVO uses? If so, then no need for a screen protector. My EVO has been in my jean pocket since I got it last June with zero scratches or marks.
Ceger
Just in case anyone is interested. The screen protector for the Shift matches the screen size for the 7 Pro perfectly. I bought a set in a Sprint store and that's what I am using.
As someone mentioned it's only for the viewable part of the screen; it doesn't make it down to the buttons which is what I wanted anyway.
I bought 2 screen protectors for the Arrive for my wife and I on Ebay from Clearfreak. They were cheaper on ebay than on their own website.
It is supposed to cover the entire glass.
I plan to install it on 1 phone and not the other to test out how thick it is, and if it degrades the sensitivity etc. I will post pictures/review once it comes in.

I did the same, except my last two experiences at applying a protector (and using the cardboard piece to clear off the air bubbles) was QUITE the failure
Luckily, my friends have told me any Sprint store will do it for free for you if you bring the cover and phone in. Sounds stupid, but somehow, I've never been able get those dreaded things to stay..
I will say, the protectors from clearfreak are primo. for 3.99, thumbs way the hell up
I'm using the screen protector for the evo shift, and its good.
Regarding Bluetooth; which ones are you guys using out there? Any recommendations for optimal performance regarding text to speech and announcing callers id names?
it's been a long time coming since the phone's release, but the boxwave cleartouch screen protector is really good. You can't tell its there after applying (it looks like glass). Had this on my old diamond back in the day and worked well for years.
Old thread, I know, but I'm still rockin' my 7 Pro. I wish US Cellular would get the Lumia phones.
Anyway I just want to add that the BodyGlove case for this phone (designated as an HTC Arrive case) is fantastic and is less than $5 with free shipping on Amazon.
I can't post links here until I get 10 posts, so just search for "Body Glove Glove Snap-On Case for HTC Arrive" in Amazon.

Spigen Tough Armor & Proctector Glass

I know people has been talking about these items quite a bit, so here is my 2 bits as I just picked it up and put them on yesterday.
The Spigen Glass IS compatible with the case itself, as you can see in the pictures. The glass works just fine with all touch screen sensation and eventhough some say the glass cut out does not match, mine seems to do just fine. It is quite pricy though, at 35 bux from amazon, compared to the case for only 18, but you do get a discount from amazon or spigen for that matter, 15% off Glass .tR. total for both came out to be 47.73 with free shipping.
Now with the case, works fine, snug-fit, I've had otterbox defender with the rubber being so lose like it's over stretched and doesnt cover up the plastic case well, not on this one as the rubber actually goes on the inside of the PC case. I haven't tried any drop test or any of that...not gonna do that =P But if you read on amazon and see the reviews for 1 stars, all with similar problem. 1- Case too slipper ( to finely finished seeing the PC case is on the outside insted of TPU). 2 - heart rate sensor does not work.
1. The case is indeed too slipper to my experience after one night playing with it, nearly dropped it 3 times in 30 mins, and I was so sure I had good grip. On the sides or back of the case, there is really no rubber to increase friction except for the button replacement cutout, so unless you got real thick and strong callus, you ain't holding it by the sides.
2. Heart rate sensor worked for me just fine, I am assuming that people tend to press on it very hard, so the pressure cuts off the blood flow therefore does not scan. If you look at the cut out for flashlight and the sensor, on the buttom of it, there is a mini slope compared to the top. Sort of like a 40 degree cut out on bottom and 90 degree on top if you get what I mean...so finger tip and actually rest on the sensor just fine, may take a couple try to get used to it, but that's definitely not the cons of the case..
The case color is gun-metal....to be honest, kind of regret it now since its not as vibrant or as sleek as I hoped it'd be, so black would probably be the best way to go since the back cover does not have any speical design to be standing out with ligher colour choices...
Thanks for the review.
I ordered a this exact same case about 3 weeks ago, and Im still waiting for it to arrive.
I also have a iLoome Screenmate 9h screen protector on my phone, which came quickly after ordering but I have to say, that:
#1 Fitment was terrible
#2 Customer service is atrocious. I asked to return it, and they said I could return it only if I hadnt removed the adhesive protectors
I have this same case as well and I love it. I have big hands so maybe that helps but I find the finish to be fine, not as slippery as most people make it seem. I do not have one complaint about the case and received it in only 3 days after ordering it, although I'm in WA so not far from where it was shipped. I also bought 2 of the basic slim plastic Spiegen cases and the regular screen protector that came with it with this case with no isssues. I was also glad that it did not add too much bulk to the phone overall. It is definitely thicker than the basic case I got but I'm sure it would withstand some abuse pretty well.
I actually have this case in black and I really like it. After seeing your pictures I may pick up the gunmetal finish one day as well. I haven't tried a drop test with it but I believe it should be pretty good possible comparable to the otterbox commuter as far as drop protection goes if not as close as you can get while keeping the case slim. I'm about done buying cases for a while because I have this one, a black Otterbox Defender, and my element Recon CF should be here Friday or Saturday.
For $35 you don't get much. I have the UAG and I think that is more attractive. But ultimately I want the Janis leather.

I am also waiting for my S5 wireless charging back to be shipped to test that out. Still waiting for the inserts from china at the moment.
Anyway, today, I took the the glass protector to the test...well...................that's just say it is not that "amazing" as it is advertised. If you look at amazon spigen's picture description...you see that they held a xacto to the screen, and I copied.
Well, result is fair I'd say, you can barely tell by the naked eye that there is any scratch on the screen, but if you hold it at a certain angle or with the right lightning, you can see "marks" on the glass, but it is not rough to the touch of finger tip; however, if you lightly glide your nail across the "marks"..."clump" "clump" "clump"....i really don't know what sound to use, but you should get the idea, it is scratched...I did a lot of cutting and swirving the blade around the glass, but there is about maybe less than 10 marks...so my guess is that it is tough, just not to the blade, but daily usage should never scratch it.
At this point, I am thinking it's probably the "layer" on top of the glass actually came off? whatever...I will live, so will it. I also got 2 cheap china version for replacement if I really need to anyway...just haven't try to see if they acutally align.
nice & helpful. I got this same setup. A black Spigen tough armor case with a Spigen "0.23mm rounded natural fit (smooth edge & light) tempered glass protector". It's a near perfect fit on the glass, just a fraction to small imho. There is a small groove around the outer edge of the glass, inside the inner edge of the case. just enough to collect some dust. but really not that bad. I had a cheapo quality case and plastic screen cover from best buy the first couple of days. this setup is much much nicer. i think maybe I would go with a thinner option than .23mm if I had to do this again. other than that I would recommend this for sure. it is nice quality. and I love how easy it was to get the glass protector on there without getting air bubbles and so forth.

Hmm....nice...I didn't know that there was a difference in the material they used. I thought it was just different paint, but I live in canada anyway, so for me to return and get a new one is not worth the hassle. I'll stick to this for now, until I get the OEM wireless cover anyway.
So I have received the Itian wireless charging adapter and the wireless charging pad today. Time to do some feed back.
First to describe the picture attached.
1. Wireless receiver from Itian.
2. Wireless charging pad from itian.
3. Wireless charging pad from aliexpress.
4. Wireless charging pad from Nokia DT-900.
First, the adapter, is not thin by all means, I reckon the OEM cover will also be made thicker like the S4, while maintaining it's waterproof ability, bigger rubber ring I suppose. If you were to use these ones, it will get caught in between the rubber gasket; therefore, making your phone IP67 non-existing. It is also harder to close on that one side of the case, render that you can still close it, but over time I would assume the plastic to actually bent, and when you remove the charging adapter, the cover will probably not close properly to be IP67 ready.
Now, this post is not here to say whether the different brand of pad works or not, at a inital test, they all work on a S4 with OEM back with the DT-900 at best performance, but I am posting more related to whether they work with the Spigen Touch Armor or NOT. From now on, review is based on Itian adapter in phone and phone is Spigen TA case.
The Itian pad takes a significantly longer time to be recognized by the phone. Phone does not pick up the wireless signal for at least 5 seconds, while Ali takes about 3 seconds and Nokia tops it by about 1 second. If the same receiver works on all 3 pads, it seems to me that Itian simply does not have enough coil to produce strong enough waves, and hence charging speed will also be significantly slower than the others...? Throughout the charging process, due to the weak signal, itian has start and stop the charging process so many times that the pad eventually comes to a halt of error, LED light flashing blue and red simultaneously. ( I hope neither my phone nor the pad is damaged during this event...)
Ali seems to just having a hard time to align properly, seems the coil is strong, but small, so the phone could be disconnected simply by the slightest wrong angle. Meanwhile, Nokia has the smallest and thickest pad among all, but when you place the phone on top ( this is the only pad that is acutally smaller than the phone, for what I have anyway) it not only picks up right away, and you really have no problem in charging speed issue nor alignment issue.
Ali one may seems strong but the broadcast range seems to be small, while Itian is about in the middle of no where, for cheap pads anyway. Nokia seems to win out-right in this one, charges just fine with or without the case.
To sum it up, DT-900 cost me 25 bux, and the others both cost me about 10~15 depending on seller and shipping cost. All in all, I suggest throw in double of your budget from getting a cheap no name to affordable brand name will save you the trouble getting a new case or replacing damaged battery or adapter.
My question is. Is the oem wireless cover gonna be released any time sooner? I'm afraid that will make impossible to use this covers. My other question is anyone bought already a fake cover? What's the difference?

I could not find any related publication on when it will acutally be released, but you can pre-order them anywhere from samsung to amazon and other cellular websites. I heard someone once said that Atnt store already carries it? doubt it tho. I have preordered mine from amazon at the same price that samsung sells, but samsung offers free tectiles to come with theirs. Some other sites has boasted their selling price which is kind of stupid to my opinion.
EDIT, just found this online, not official, just annoucement from a retailer.
"This morning B&H Photo places put a date on the Galaxy S5 wireless charging back, with shipments expected to start on May 10th. Users can pre-order the Galaxy S5 wireless charging cover from this well-known retailer and could see the back arrive before the middle of the month."
Thank you for your response. I'm heading to a Samsung store tomorrow just to check if they have in there or if they say the same thing about the day. Because I already saw in the forum that some people have the back cover and it's a little bulky. And I can't use the phone without a protective cover. Hope that it's compatible with spigen line
I went to a Samsung official store on London and they don't have any wireless covers. But if I go to Amazon and search there's a store that has them on stock. So on Monday I'm going to buy one.

On amazon.com. it says ship within 2 to 4 month, which is where I placed my order, but I don't think they have them in stock yet. I would assume Samsung stores to have them before anyone else to make the best profit for themselves. Some random purchasers have made comments among different websites about them picking one up already from the mobile stores, which I highly doubt...
I went to a Rogers store in canada, the guy there said he didn't even heard anything about it, he did NOT know such thing exists....so go figure.

Judging from the size of the cutout on the charging port, it does not look as if larger, "fat headed" aftermarket chargers will fit.The reason I mention this is because I just ordered this (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GDESF1I/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1H9NMCPZH97BO) 15 ft charging cable. Reviewers have mentioned that this cable does not work with their case on, and you have almost confirmed that for me. Thank you sir/ma'am!

Looking at the picture of your link, seems like you have purchased a standard USB 3.0 cord of which should be the same size on both end compared to standard USB plug for PC. I've attached a picture with my own USB 3 cord, WD brand for my external drive, it is round edged by a little fatter in the height wise, decimal mm difference. I have attached picture with dimention in CM along the post. It works perfectly with my case when I plug it in, so you might still be able to use it. The front rubber part of the case design is "loose" for the ease of use of the finger print scanner, so that is "movable" so to speak.
PS. Sir is fine =P
Now adays, people tend to use more wireless charging to save the hassel of plugging it and pulling out, it eventually wears out the charging port. On top of that, because of the waterproof cover, after you put on the case, it makes it even harder to open the cover if you have absolutely no nails like me. I keep the ruler by my table so I use the edge of the ruler to pry it open. Other than that, I rarely use the port anymore. Suggest in investing in a decent wireless charger and a charging back for rougly 50 dollars, or go with ebay for a 15 dollars all inclusive (less quality).

nice & helpful.

I too brought the Spigen 0.23 mm glass protector, and with in one week it had completey cracked acorss the width of the screen. These screens are not and hard, scratch prrof, as they claim. I contacted the customer services regarding their screen did not live up to the claims, and useless is a kind word to describe their customer services.
Dont get me wrong its a good product but dont think it worth all that money when, its not going to last that long. Im considering buying a new one.. but not sure yet, so currently have the bog standard screen protector which came with my Spigen case.

No, you are right. They are not as good as they claim to be, and in the free market, they are selling at a high price. Like I said, definitely not scratch proof as I have tested it, mine has not experience crack yet, but who knows. If you look online whether amazon or other spigen retails, lots of bad feedback of lining issue as well as customer service, especially customer service. They don't seem to replace or refund, nothing like that, as long as you have tried applying the glass, you are done. Even if it was manufacture defect, you still need to pay return shipping provided that you haven't remove the sticky 1 AND 2 side. Very minimal on defects, still has tho. I have ordered 2 cheap no-name brand from china on ebay as well as 2 cheap regular plastic film as back up. The phone will probably be gone before I really have to use up all 5 protectors.
I saw somewhere that there was a brand that provides life-time warranty replacement...I can't remember which one, someone here knows as it's on one of the threads. Do a search or someone can probably point it out for you. As far as where I stand, I got lots of cheap back up

Any word on cases?

Any word on cases for the Pixel C yet? If you find one please post.
Thanks!

I've just seen a sleeve that will be out later this month:
http://www.amazon.com/Tablet-Sleeve...=UTF8&qid=1449678769&sr=1-11&keywords=pixel+c
I wouldn't mind a faux leather flip cover for times I know I will not be using the keyboard for a while.
I am looking for a leather case with kickstand function. Anyone seen anything?
I am looking for something like this http://www.amazon.com/MoKo-Slim-Fit-Multi-angle-Android-Samsung/dp/B00A9G985S/
With automatic sleep/wake-up function. I use very simillar case with Nexus 10 and I am very satisfied with that.
Anyone seen anything?
I think case manufacturers are going to be running into problems since the Pixel C uses a lot of magnets in the tablet chassis to attach it to the optional keyboard. Putting on a standard cover is going to negate this benefit I would imagine.
I'd like to get a sleeve, sort of like the one posted earlier, that will allow me to protect my Pixel C and keyboard when I throw in in a bag or backpack since I'm not sure how resistant the aluminum body will be towards scuffs and scratches.

I need a simple book cover type samsung like case
They could use all the magnets to benefit the folio type case set up like samsung uses the clips in the back of the tab s 8.4
I am THRILLED to be using again my Saddleback leather sleeve from my original iPad. Funny, only couple years ago the iPad came out but the Pixel C + keyboard are about the same thickness Tablet alone would be too loose. Not sure if they make it anymore, but maybe check ebay?

its funny but i am also using my iPad 3 case that fits the Pix C + keyboard very nicely
I ordered this sleeve which will be here tomorrow: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005D1R07M
Based on the dimensions, should be a good fit. Comments mention a magnetic clasp which should work well! We'll see how it is for just $4.
I'm looking for a magic/smart cover like the one for the N9 (https://goo.gl/79fapJ), anyone seen anything like it for the C? It should only cover the front and attach via magnets.

Yeah, this please. Surprised Google didn't think about users who DON'T want a keyboard, just a thin foldable cover for their tablet screen.

exactly what I was referring too with my Tab S 8.4! We need this now
all the people that got it for just a tablet and not a "c"onvertible
The Nexus 9 smart cover was one of THE worst engineered covers I have every used! In other words, it was just a big piece of cr** and not worth the money. Let's hope they bring us something better.

Don't confuse it being a piece of crap to it not doing what you want it to. I was sceptical about it at first, but after a while it started to work extremely well for me and now I don't want anything else anymore!

The magnets in there are just to weak so it comes off the screen to easily (yes, I am using it on the correct side), or does not hold the tablet in place when used a a stand. That alone is a no-go for me.
Also, as a kickstand, depending on the position, it makes it very hard to access the volume- and powerbutton(s), or will accidentally press the buttons down sometimes. This is unacceptable.
Anyone have any input on this sleeve:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003CFAHQC/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_1?pf_rd_p=1944687442&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B005550NQ6&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0NJM888E0PN3VKMH3K7V
Saw it at my local Staples today when I was doing some last minute Christmas shopping for the wife. It's just what I was looking for, and I "think" the Pixel C should fit, but I figured I'd check here first to see if anyone had any experience with it. If nothing else, I'll bring my Pixel C up to the store to test it out and see if it will work.

So I went ahead and ran out to Staples again, this time with my Pixel C. They actually had a couple of different tablet cases/sleeves, but I ended up going with the one I posted above. Fits very well, and in fact the sleeve is actually a little bigger than needed (probably because the sleeve has a more traditional 16:9 ratio), so you could actually fit a few small things, such as papers, cables, etc., without hurting the slim design.
Now I might look into getting a case actually designed for the Pixel C once they start rolling out, but I"m very happy with this in the meantime, especially since Staples wanted to charge me $24.99 for it and I just had them price match Amazon's $10.97!
Esta es la funda que llevo de momento:
Because I am a rookie I can not include the page. Universal HT Silver 10.1
Perfect size, 2-position, nice touch, use c Port aux speakers and cameras ok
The only complaint one of the four holes in the cover 2 side microphone but I do not use it since. I give it 8 out of 10
Greetings fellow.

I like that case, but I wish it had the cut out for the back cover lights. (battery level lights) I think they are a very nice aesthetic touch that should be visible.
