Not the cleartype fix, it takes out the D3D driver, lookin to sort this for my next ROM.

Yes should do(but not tested) most 1.65 & 1.58 radios are compatible.
Try it and leave some feedback on its performance.

V3 Started
Yardie v3 started using Lite Rom as base rom, now UC aswell, still need to get clear type to work with D3D............. Any help anyone!
Was thinking about installing cleartype first then running d3d as a cab install using config_operator.text.......dunno if it'll work #*!!?*?

really like this ROM and this might be a really noob question, but is there a sim manager somewhere? i looked and can't find it, if not can you post a cab for it? thanks

Ill have a look, have you tried Alex or Raisaiks cabs? Most of my apps are packages not cabs.I didn't include in this rom

I found a sim manager cab that worked ( i guess i should have read the first post better, i saw where you removed sim manager )but thanks for the quick response. I DL this ROM a couple days ago and has pretty stable, no screen freezes, no keyboard lag, two issues i have had with every other ROM i have tried. its also pretty fast, have not had a chance to try GPS. having problems with other roms running tom tom and locating Satallites. will contiue to use and report back any issues i find =) looking forward to V3

Agreed. This is a nice ROM. It's alot faster than what I thought it would be, even after I installed a few necessary and not-so-necessary apps. One of the biggest problems I was having with a couple of apps was how much they would slow down my Tilt, primarily Citrix CE mobile. I haven't really noticed any speed reduction since flashing this ROM. Nice work!
PS...I think I have flashed my Tilt approximately 34 times in the last 3 weeks...and that's only because I have started keeping track! So many ROMs...so much time!

Is there a way to have the menu system sit on the time/clock line when unlocked ??

Yeah, that's exactly the problem I want in this Rom: showing the clock tab everytime I turn on my device. I'll try to find it out. At the moment there is no known solution for this yet, we can not customize the tab order of titanium yet

Great work, moving forward at last. I am just now playing with the rom and it does appear to be the snappiest rom I have used with the honeycomb so job well done. I will report back more after I have loaded everything.

Storage: free ~ 94 MB
Program: after reset, free ~ 46-47 Mb

My hands are dirty! It works for a little while then you get the dreaded Acitve Sync error that all the other 6.5's are plagued with. But this is a very very nice ROM.

(9-8-09)TPC 23045 "Stock-Like" Rom...clean and fast :)

ive been getting pms from people wondering why i dont release all the new builds for kaiser, i usually do release them but they are hidden in the 600+ pages of my thread. so from now on i am going to do things differently, all new builds will be published in their own thread and will be a light rom with stock everything if they pass the test here, then i may decide to dress them up and release them in my main rom thread. all roms come with stock themes, classic blue is default. these roms are light and FAST, just because they look like stock doesnt mean i havent included my tweaks special thanks to Da_G for bringing us all the new builds, without him none of this would be possible

This ROM is amazing, thanks for sharing! Much faster than most of the 6.5.0 ROMs I've used.

edit: Tried and installed the Phonecanvas from the HTC Mega, but have the problem seen before in WM6.5 roms, I get a scrollbar on the right side in the dialer. Is there any fix for this?

This is the best decision taken, thanks for the Lite ROMS for the most recent builds, also splited in diferent threads to follow possible issues
Once they are made by you they are for sure total reliable
Flashed 23045, and it's REAL GOOD, then anyone can costumize as they want

Extract ZIP, copy file to device, install CAB, copy DLL to \Windows\, Change Theme to DragonWorld_Blu in Home Settings, & Soft Reset.
If You want all system Fonts link the Titanium Font, install Font CAB as well (Optional).

sorry but the camera that is in the rom stays in the rom, this isnt a custom rom thread its a thread to test the new builds. the camera you are referring to has no autofocus with kaiser ive tried it before, not sure if you can change it or not do some searching and reading

[ROM] Hero Revolution 10.2.09 (G1/Dream Only)

Ok, to start off, I would like to thank JAC, Cyrowski, Drizzy, Manup, Cyanogen, Twisted, and all the other Dev's who have helped the community to make Android what it is today. It is because of all of you that I am able to bring you the fastest and most stable HERO ROM. Thank you all!
What you need:
*MicroSD, not necessarily class 6, but the faster the better
*3 Partitions: 1st Partition FAT32, 2nd Partition EXT2 (not 3, because EXT2 supposedly has faster read/write speed, which we need EXT3 does work though), and 3rd Linux-Swap
Swap-Partition Size has to be 96mb (or close, doesn't have to be exact)
Please do not edit the user.conf unless u plan on making this ROM faster, because it is already pretty damn fast now.
*Common sense and the ability to use the search button, because questions that have already been answered before, will not be answered by me.
And yes some icons/images are supposed to be small.
*Please format (don't just delete the folders) for the ext2 partiton, it makes a difference.
*Please wipe before flashing
What this ROM contains:
-Based off of Modaco 1.5.1 HERO ROM
-Blur Animation's (Thanks a lot Drizzy!)
-JAC's Kernel from 2.1 w/ BFS 211 (because it is the most stable without black screen problems.
-Boot animation from HTC TATTOO
-Misc images from HTC TATTOO
-Custom Rosie fused with images from HTC TATTOO
-Optimized APK's for faster load
-Customized/Optimized widgets (for speed and lower memory usage)
-Some other stuff (if you recognize anything that's yours and I forgot to put you name on here, please PM me and I will repair that as soon as possible.
Please post any bugs that you have noticed, I will try my best to get them 'debugged.'
This ROM is extremely fast and stable, but if you think you can improve it, please share your thoughts, I only do this stuff for the community, otherwise I would not be posting this Booting time after the first boot is also greatly improved than most of the other HERO ROMS as well (ive tried them all). Please enable animations in setting, believe it or not but it does make app opening and closing faster.

I do plan on releasing a new version which is faster and has GFX fix for 'some' icons. The reason I imported a lot of GFX from TATTOO is because
they are smaller. Smaller = faster and lower memory footprint.

To do what? are you talking about the boot image?

No your able to hook up your phone to your computer and you can go into DDMS and take the screen shots there and save it directly to your computer

This is for screenshots...once you open ddms, hightlight your device then hit ctrl + S and you can save screenshots.

I have thoroughly tested multple kernels with the RAM hack in it and to be completely honest, they are not even close enough to be stable for everyday use, and there isn't much of a benefit on this ROM.

Not for at least a week or 2. Maybe longer. This version is pretty damn stable so I dont plan on uploading more, but if there are problems, I will try and fix them as soon as possible, and I will try to have just an update so you wont have to wipe etc...

I have not compiled any kernel. I've used the kernel from yoshi rom because it worked well with my compiled system and radio/spl.
I'm new to the Magic's XDA room because I have bought this phone a couple of days ago. If you can mention to me who thanks for the kernel I will append their names to the first post, I don't want to stole anyone's work.
Also for the question, I don't know the answer.. I'm new to this phone and it's not my main phone so I don't use it so much.. If you can do some experiments I think it will be useful also for others.

Ok. I will test those two and after that i'll give feedback. Does it feel faster or stabler than Ginger Yoshi in your opinion? I know that the a creator always think that his work is the best, but i can't help it to ask anyway.

I've used ginger yoshi for about 5 minutes just to see if angry birds runs also on others rom so slow...

I can confirm that both farmatito's and pershoot's kernel works with this ROM. The ROM boots ok, but it seems a little slow. Not slower than Yoshi, but slower than carz's CM7. I don't think yoshi is a good ROM for you to look at in order to enhance your ROM. I don't know why, and it could be something that i do wrong, but Ginger Yoshi is the slowest GB ROM for Magic right now.
About your ROM itself. I think multi-language should be a priority in your list. I get some FC here and there, but nothing unbearable. In short, it's a pretty good ROM for a first try! Although i think it still needs some work on it.
I'll keep an eye on this thread. Keep up with this work. It as potential. Good luck!

Brilliant Rom, I couldn't find any GB Roms that would work on my phone and then stumbled upon this one ;-).............fantastic.
One issue though...........I have the same radio and spl as the creator but whenever I try and use live wallpapers they all force close, except maps?!?
It may be the kernel but I thought I would ask if any one has has similar issues.

I will take a look to live wallpaper crashes today, maybe I can find what is wrong.

I get it work. Go to the Settings menu, Cyanogenmod, Performance, and put the VM size to 24 mb, and also turn on the JIT Compiler.
We were running out of memory with the bitmap of the wallpaper. In the next release I'll try to hard code this options into the rom.
Also if you're not using live wallpaper that things will help with performance.
Now with the cpu at 614 mhz I'm doing 360-370 on Quadrant

don't forget to change the settings as I said in my previous post to avoid out of memory

The ROM CM7.1 is very fast compared to Yoshy ROM and everything seems to work perfectly. I'll try this rom in next days.

Sorry, I don't know. I have not tested it or better, I don't even know what are the original SPL and Radio because I've bought the magic used.

I have SLP 1.33.2010 and Radio 3.22.20.17 MAGIC 32A TIM
This Rom is faster and faster, finally my phone is a rocket ;-) !! Tips from Jordan (put the VM size to 24 mb, and also turn on the JIT Compiler) are perfect.
I use also AUTOKILER whit setting "STRICT 60,70,80" and my battery now at 8:00PM has 60% charg!!! WOW ...
Best rom in shappire section in this moment!!!
It seems everything work, but I'll have to test the rom for at least 5 or 6 days...
