Change Rom | Tilt 8925

Hi,
Can i change the rom that came with AT&T Tilt ?
I want to erase all application from AT&T....
Can I do it ?

Actually its because all of us with Tilts are too busy reading and trying to keep up with the flashing to new roms from Dutty and Schaps...
@benofocus - you need to do some serious reading. All the steps and instructions are right here. And so help me if you flash a rom then post that there is no sound after two of us told you to read... Well.... POW... To The Moon! (Thats a "Honeymooners" reference to all of you young'ns on the boards)

Anytime LALALAND Boy. Been using HTC since 8125 so who cares how much I post. The less I post means the more I understand and do not have to ask questions. As far as donations go? Hehehe 1 of mine is probably more than all of yours so I am not going to reply anymore because it is just going to get out of hand. Just go back to when you were a noob and how many question you might have had. Then leave people helpful hints and don't cut them down.

If you don't get spanked you don't learn. You should always do some research first.

ATT tilt question

Hi, i am new here, i have got a ATT tilt. i have just unlocked it. and i have a few questions about the phone.
1. can i get the HTC(touch) interface instead of the stock one.
2. How to activate the GPS? (do i need to unlock it)
3. What do i need to do if i wanna watch youtube in my phone?

Since this is your first post I will point you in the right direction.
First see the fist link in my signature. This will teach you the in's and out's of posting.
1. I think what you mean is the cube if I not mistaken. You can get the touch interface (cube)by downloading this. Poorly Duck's Cubes
2. GPS is already activated. I would suggest downloading Google Maps or Live Search for the mobile. You should be able to find both of these by searching google. Google Maps & Windows Live Search Mobile
3. To watch youtube. Download first this app. TCPMP .72
Then download this one. FlashVideoBundle
Click on Video Sites from Start > Programs and you should be able to select either YouTube...Google Video what have you.
Next time you want to find something you are looking for I would do this.
Use Google Advanced search by clicking on this link.Google Advanced Search and then put XDA in front of anything you are looking for.

well, i guess this being like the 100th new stupid question thread this week goes to prove that consolidating the threads did not fix the laziness/ignorance of new members...

vBullentin has a module that makes member's read preselected threads before being able to read any other thread and post. I hope the admin takes it into consideration. It well surely save all this clutter.

Latest Official ATT ROM - How do I remove all the crap?

Go to settings and clear storage. Once the phone reboots and it is about to update remove battery to shut down phone. Place battery back in and reboot. Should have all the crap removed.

Or instead of possibly frying your device by taking the battery out you could just soft reset when the customize in 3 seconds screen appears. This sounds alot safer then pulling the battery out when the phone is trying to customize itself doesn't it....
Noobs answering noobs questions.... easy way to get a messed up device.

Or, you could try Rotohammer's new Rom..

Yeah you are right we were all noobs before but some of us former noobs had the foresight to find out and learn stuff on our own and not ask uneccessary questions or give out ill advice withought making sure that what we were about to advice was the best answer....got any more to say?
