I did that with the MMS cab, copied it to the 27Mb storage, but when I an it, it installed the files into main memoory.
Is this normal?
Yes, that's normal - as long as you don't use third party software which prevents this (i.e. changes the install directory).

Annoying default.wav in some WM6 builds

Hi folks,
Would anyone explain what's the registry trick to get rid of this annoying sound?
Thanks!
Edit : seems like the workaround is to create an empty default.wav file (thanks to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1587943&postcount=115)

default.wav needs to be replaced or deleted from the ROM dump itself.

Thanks a lot!
And one more question if you have a patience .What can I do if I want back the original lockscreen?
I assume you just have to uninstall the cab in remove programs?

There are already! Just click on the padlock!
Very nice work...
I suggest a change?
I think might be more usable if the padlock is toward the center of the screen.

how to remove (hide) softkey on HTC HD2

how to remove (hide) softkey on HTC HD2
any help i search a lot but can't find nothing.
Solution
1. Go into the CHT editor.
2. Click Miscellaneous settings
3. turn on "Retract Slider'
4. Enjoy!
what makes you think hes using CHT? it can be santod's for all you know,..
if I'm wrong then why wouldn't u just post the other solution to his problem instead of asking me why i jumped to a conclusion on what hes using? the only way that i know is what i listed above. if anyone else knows any other solution then feel free to post that.
Do you want to have that retractible slider, want to remove it to see the sense slider all time or do you want to make the marked softkey transparent?

Thanks Dic3ptor, works very nice (although you need to know where the button is located after you have made it invisible) and makes my homescreen even more clean and tidier.

That's not much use to translate an image - text yes, image no.
