Auto Responding SMS Trivia Game? - General Questions and Answers

hi, im a new windows mobile smartphone user. and i had a question maybe some of you can answer for me.
im looking for an auto responding sms program that acts like a game...
an example would be the person sending an sms to my phone with a key phrase such as " !START TRIVIA ", after they text the phrase to my phone it enables the sms game to run for that number.
so it would look like something like this.
Friend: " !START TRIVIA "
SMSTRIV: "Trivia has been started for phone number 555-555-5555"
SMSTRIV: what tv show is peter griffin from
Friend: simpsons
SMSTRIV: WRONG! the correct answer is Family Guy
etc etc..
is there anything remotely similar to what i described on a windows mobile 6.1 smartphone device?

Vibrate phone Until I read the SMS, hard to do?

Hi!
I'm looking for a program that basically vibrate my phone when I get a SMS from sender X (not from Y or anyone else). But also vibrate the phone until I read the SMS.
I have been googling my ass off to find a program that will allow this but can't find any. So I gave up and decided that I will try to do it myself.
I have done some intermediate coding in VB6/VB.Net, more than basic C++ and very basic Java. Never coded anything to mobilephones.
Is this possible to do? If so, how hard? Do you think I will be able to do it?
The program should work on HTC S740 (WM6 Standard)

Well the latter of you ideas already exists here on this forum(the reminder vibrate). The first of your ideas also exists if you are will to block sender Y's alerts (audio and vibrate) all together. Just do a little searching if you are interested in these programs.
CG
did you take a look at PhoneAlarm? you can make some profiles, which can repeat the sms alert virbration untill you read the sms
MissedCallReminder.. just download it and you're done
on the other hand, it's not free but spb phone suite also does this.

[One Thread To Rule Them All] Blacklist App for Windows Mobile 6.5

Hi guys! I've been doing a lot of web surfing around here latelay since it's only a couple of days I got a magnificent Touch Pro 2! The problem is I can't find any program that could act like the glorious Handy Blacklist used to on my Symbian S60.
I searched every little spot on this forum and on the web more in general, but all I got were softwares that only rejected incoming calls, and definitely did not block them first.
I'll clear this out. When someone calls me, with these programs he hears a ring, then the classic busy signal. I mean, it's not like people are retard, they can get I (or the program, in this case) am rejecting the call. At least, I would think of it in first place.
The Handy Blacklist program, though, worked in a very different manner: people who tried to call me (and, for their misery, got written in the blacklist) just got a "The customer you have called is unavailable at the moment" carrier message.. that was fantastic, it acted like my phone was really switched off. How could it do that?
If no other program can act like that, is there any way to 'convert' a symbian s60 program to a windows mobile platform? (or did I just say a heresy?)
As you could easily understand I'm not that pr0 with Windows Mobile, but I'm trying to get used to
Hope you can help! Thanks in advance!!
Post Scriptum: Sorry for any mistake or typo I eventually made.

[REQ] Ping application.

I would like to request a Ping application, like iPhone and BlackBerry have.
I know there are some ports from BB OS's for the HD2 but I won't install it as I want to remain on some edited OS for the HD2. I do want to Ping with some others that have a BlackBerry / iPod / iPhone.
If you can get this on the Windows Market this can be a huge moneymaker aswell I mean I would pay €5 for it and I think almost every HD2 user will do.
Thanks to the coders! You make our Mobile world rock
Have you seen this freeware program:
http://www.pocketpcfreeware.mobi/download-pocket-ping-v1-6.html
vxUtil (Personal) for Windows CE
If you need the other network utilities, it's here and it's FREE.

This ain't Ping applications to send someone a message. These are just to get a "Ping Response" like you can do with your PC "Ping {IP}"

The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 10 characters.

Offline voice recognition

Is there an application that is similar to Google's voice actions application, but offline, for when I don't have service?

Hello girls and boys,
Like you, I was yesterday looking for this frantically as I have just got an Android device as my work mobile and have an old Windows Mobile 6.5 phone (Touch Pro2) as my personal mobile which runs Microsoft Voice Command 1.6 and can do quite a bit without needing to touch the handset (illegal whilst driving in the UK). I have to say; I was finding it difficult to believe that with all the awesome power of a Desire S when compared to the TP2, why is it I can't find an offline voice command application? Google's Actions are great yes, but does it REALLY need server side processing for these commands? I then came across a forum where someone suggested Vlingo and no-one really acknowledged the post. What a great app! Totally free, works with bluetooth headsets and actually does speech to text as well WITHOUT needing to be online.
I suggest you guys take a look as it seems to be a great piece of software that's pretty well written. http://www.vlingo.com

[Resolved] [Q] VOIP integration into contact application (like on Symbian devices)

Hey folks!
Used to have a nokie E90 which was a really great device and i still miss (should not have thrown it against the wall)
One of the freatures really miss, was the SIP/VOIP integration. it was possible to add in the settings the SIP/VOIP details and when you make a call you had the possibility to choose between "video call(over 3g network)" "Voice Call" and "internet call"
When i selected internet call, it automatically signed me on SIP/VOIP and started the call.
Now i am on a HD2 Leo and i need to call to other countries a lot, thats why i need to use VOIP. I googled my a** off to finde some "nice!" integration. i ended up with PORT GO and it is amazing, but still not what i am looking for
My question now is. is it possible to add a "section" to the HD2 HTC contact application such as "Call via SIP/VOIP" ?? and then it starts Port go with a command line, signs on and dials??
im in general very good with computers, but i never had studied how to programm so any help is appreciated!
Thank you very much guys!
To all who look for something similar, here you can find a good solution for your HD2
