Open and Edit .MOT files (Sharp GX series firmware) - General Topics

Hello,
Does anyone know if it possible to open and edit .MOT files which are Sharp's GX series flash files? I'd like to be able to do that because I want to create a Bulgarian localization of the phone's firmware.
Also let me know if there is a different way to do the same.
Thanks!

How do i translate wm6 rom to other language ?

Hey guys.
I got a kitchen and dump all the files from my 80040000-OS.nb.
And now i want to translate the hole rom to sample-chinese, how can i do that?
I saw an article from here, it said i can download the emulator file from microsoft, and change all the language file name to 0409, then copy them to my dump folder.
But i didn't want to do that, i want to still keep the language file name like 0804. What will i do? Modify the default.hv and user.hv? Or some other way i can do?
I just want to translate my rom to sample-chinese use 0804 file not 0409 file, can somebody help me?
anybody can answer my question ?
Get all the mui files for your language (may be from emulator but be sure to have right build). hv files will have the language settings. Convert the hv files to rgu and search them through for language settings. You may need to search through each line in the rgu. Then convert the rgu back to hv and use them along with the mui files (can delete the ENU mui files).
This is not impossible but will need lot of patience and testing time. Good Luck
only edit .hv files and replace the mui files is ok ?
need other thins to do ?
Or somebody can give me anohter way to translate my rom ?

How to extract files from ROM

OK so that's the question...
I have an Omnia and it's branded by operator... I was told by a portuguese user (like me) that flashed his device and said that the XCHG5 is unbranded
The ROM is linked is in .nbo and .img format and is linked at Modaco.
All I really want to do is extract the launcher.exe, launcher.exe.0816.mui, launcher.exe.t1.skin (which my network provider so generouly altered and crippled) and the poweron/poweroff images and sounds... Though I'm not sure if some changes were made at registry (I have this one icon in the Launcher user defined shortcuts for MeoMobile that I realy want to remove but can't the way I add/remove other apps to it...)
Can anyone tell me which tool to use and how to use it?
And before anyone suggests it I do not want to flash my device.
Feedback appreciated
Bump...
It's been a week... Doesn't anyone know of an answer to this?
Sorry if this seems shameless but if I get it right my thread has only one week left and then will be deleted... And this thread was burryed under more recent ones.
I need to extract some files from different ROMs too, please help

Request for a language package.

Hello,
Does anyone have package which add polish language to the device?
I was looking for it in http://www.sunnysoft.com/htc/ but when I Install it it says that files were uploade or something like that. Still I don't have option after hard reset to choose polish interface and language.
I would appreciate if someone solve my problem.
Hi,
I thought maybe someone is able to make a *.cab from archive which is on this site http://www.sunnysoft.com/htc/ .
I tried to extract it but without effects. I can only look inside that setup package but when I open it in archiver I can only see meaningless files which together doesn't have full size of a package.

Keyboard Mapping

Hello All,
I have a chinese Android phone model e1060 running 2.2.1 I can't tell you what make it is because I don't know !!! It has a built in QWERTY keyboard
that I want to change how it works. I have read that I have to modify the .bin
file in the /system/usr/keychars directory, but there are 3 files, mt6516-kpd.kcm.bin qwerty.kcm.bin and qwerty2.kcm.bin I have already rooted
the phone. Is there a way to determine which of these files I need to modify?
Thanks in advance,
Dave.

[REQ] New T-Mobile Name ID APK?

Z3 Frands,
Would someone kindly upload the APK for the Whitepages-powered T-Mobile Name ID app? I had it on my Note 4 previously, but I didn't back it up when I went to try a CM12 ROM, and now back on KK it says it's not compatible in the Play Store. I know it came stock on the Z3.
Alternatively, if someone knows how to extract a .sin file, I can get it from the firmware.
Thanks in advance!
Use flashtool to extract .sin and dump it as .ext4
Then use ext2explore to open the .ext4 image
Any Luck??
Anyone ever get this apk?
