I want to purchase a BT headset for use under helmet in my motorbike, but I'ts not clear that the autoanswer feature work with BT.

Any experiences ???
Thanks in advance for your replies !!!
There's an automatic pickup after x rings check box in phone settings. That will always work won't it ?
This only works with the wired headset that cames with the phone....
Nobody has a BT headset that autoanswer ?????
Auto answer with bluetooth is part of the handsfree profile (which the XDA does not support), not the headset profile. Sorry

Click to collapse
Try Pocket Bluetooth tools.
It automatically activates bluetooth when you make and receive calls.
Just download the attached file.
Enjoy!

How to use BTHTools1100.exe
I installed BTHTools1100.exe, and I found that from my Jabra 258 FS I am able to make last call dialing just by clicking on my headset, which was not possible before. But I lost the pop up window, that used to show when I made the call from my PPC and it automatically got transferred to my Jabra, & would say "Do u want to transfer the call to Phone"!
Is there any eloborate help on BTHTools1100.exe

Hello,
Can anyone think of a way to use a Bluetooth handsfree headset for PPC applications (not just to answer calls) ?? I am trying to see if there is a way I can use the headset for Skype, for recording Notes, for other applications...... I basically want to somehow reroute all activity going to/from the internal HTC device speaker/microphone to the Bluetooth headset which needs to think that it is also active (not in stand-by mode) while the application is active.
Anyone have any Ideas ???
Thanks in advance

PS.
I am using an iMate PDA2K and a Jabra BT250v headset
Masters,
Let me first explain my situation and then ask the question.
In my car I have a bluetooth carkit. When I am out of the car I am using a BT headset.
I am using the BT headset for my phone and for my computer, such as Skype.
My question is if there is a program for my Windows Mobile 6.1 were I can give priority to certain devices. I would like that when I am in my car and my BT carkit starts, my PPC switches over to the carkit and does not stay with my BT headset.
When I want to switch, I have to power off my BT headset and connect my BT carkit to the PPC. But when I get out of the car, I first have to power on my BT headset before using it.
I hope I made myself clear with my question. English is not my native language. So if there is something not clear, please let me know.
hi,
I have a bluetooth headset (Samsung one)
When I power on my headset, and then my bluetooth on the HD2, i am connected, but iI have to go all the time into the bluetooth setup and reconnect to Stereio AUDIO and HandsFree.
Why ?
thanks
Sorry, no solution, just confirmaiton of another BT issue...
I'm also having trouble with Bluetooth.
I have a quite old Motorola ear piece and a more recent JVC car stareo head unit with Bluetooth capability, neither will connect to make/receive calls.
Both connected and worked as they should do on my last phone...
Is there any way to get my BT headset to permanently act as the microphone for the tablet? I've been searching for apps, but couldn't turn out anything in particular. It's a rooted one, and "use for phone sound" is checked in BT settings for the headset.
Any ideas? You'd think someone else would have a similar problem - or is it just a problem with the headset's capabilities?
My sennheisers work fine...
