Navigation Bar transparent

Hi everyone,
I don't know if I'm posting in the rigth section but anyway, I am looking for a software, or a cab, that can make my navigation bar transparent in order to be able to see my background picture even on the top and the bottom of my today page.
Does anyone have an idea oàf how I can proceed to do that?
Thanks a lot
Guillaume

Transparent top and bottom WM bar

Hey,
In the standard Titanium you can have very nice transparent bottom and top bars.. Like the bars with the startmenu icon and the 2 shortcuts.
But how to get these transparent in the TouchFlo interface??
EDIT: Lol, i'm so dumb
I'm soo sorry XDA, i didn't use the search button. I found that there is a new version of MaxTTM were you can easily set it to 'transparent'

Need transparent top bar + bottom bar !

Where can i find a .cab for both top and bottom bar to disappear. I also need a .cab for transparent slider. I have stock rom 6.5. Thanks !!
Search for 'transparent curtain 2.1' and 'Lucarps transparent slider' You'll find plenty.
Alternatively try MaxTTM, an app that will do what you want. The curtains you will able to remove without issue and the slider by way of an add-in component.
Do you mean the transparent taskbar and softkey bar? Transparent taskbar and softkey bar are only transparent with the Titanium homescreen and start menu (if Titanium is the active homescreen).
Using Manila (seems you are doing) will cause the bar to appear be solid. Now you can do a trick where you use your background as the images for the taskbar/softkey bar... and make them slightly darker. They'll still be solid but have the matching background image on them to appear transparent.
Using the Manila trick will cause the images to be visible in ALL apps; where the default Titanium will switch back and forth from solid to transparent depending on the app.

Transparent top and bottom taskbars

Hello,
I'm trying to get my top and bottom taskbars transparent. But I have no success.
I tried the cab from smaberg, changed the manila files in windows folder and also removed the taskbar.png with transparent ones.
All this doesn't work for me.
Who has a solution for Manila 2.5.19211619.0.
Thanks.
For transparent taskbars you have to use "HDWall" - search for it
smabergs cab is only for the cutains behind the operator logo and the bottom slider
EDIT:

have fun!
But tbh, this is not a solution for transparency... It just replaces the black backgrounds in the top and bottom with slices of the selected wallpaper, meaning that as long as you can see the top bar, even if in a program, it will have the same slice of the wallpaper.
Real transparency comes for example when you press the windows hard button and get to that menu, that's a real transparent bar at the top... Although it might work in the same way, what do I know. I just find it too ugly that when you're in another program the top bar still has the slice of the wallpaper..

I tried HDWall. But the result is not satisfying. The bottom taskbar is now like the wallpaper. But the top is black. If I go to start menu the background is from the theme only the bottom taskbar is from the wall paper.
If I slide the menu I can't see the background. All is black except the bottom taskbar.
At the end this is ugly.

I played a bit around and deactivated Sense. So there´s the standard WM 6.5.5 homescreen - with transparent taskbar & softbar. Why isn´t this possible with Manila?

How can I replace HTCblack_softkeybar and HTCblack_taskbar?

I have the files, but I don't know how or where to put them, exactly.
Please, can someone tell me where to place them and how?
- HTCblack_taskbar
- HTCblack_softkeybar
Thanks in advance.
Hi
Can you give us a bit more information about what you are wanting to do?
Are you wanting to replace the stock taskbar and and softkey bar with something new?
If so, perhaps this thread will be of interest:

I want to replace the bottom bar and not mess up the taskbar icons, pinscreen and volume control.
So far, I've tried installing a bottom bar by cab, and it does all three of these things.

I installed the black glossy taskbar from the link above and it has done nothing but change the taskbar and softkey graphics. No icons, volume control etc items have been modified.
copy them to Windows directory in device memory
