Hi,
This is my first (but won't be my last i'm sure) post on this forum so take it easy on me please!
Recently bought a 2GB SD memory card for the above phone however upon trying to download music onto it it says there is no card present? I assume the card is simply inserted into the slot and it should automatically be recognised by the phone or is there something else that needs to be carried out before it is recognised?
I have formatted the card.
Do you think I have I bought a faulty card.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi everybody
i've flashing my V1640 with ROM version 2.05.00 WWE and now it's impossible with the file explorer to access at my SD card
The size is 2Go and when i'm using my card with my computer, it's working !
Anybody can help me ?

I have the same problems with a 2GB Kingston SD card. It was always a bit unstable with the O2 rom, but now it locks up on the WM6 rom.
To explain what it is doing: When I insert the card, no problem, but when I try to browse to the card contents via file explorer (or Windows Media Player for example) the app locks up and after a while the Universal reboots. It also reboots as soon as you eject the card.
I haven't checked the card on a PC but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work.
I am currently using my spare Kingston 1GB SD card without problems.

So i'm trying to use an older 256 Mo SD card and it's working perfectly ! you're right the 2go does'nt work with the WM6.
So now i must buy a 1Gb SD card

It is more likely that the Rom you have flashed has SDHC support built in.
These drivers have issues with SOME non SDHC Cards.
Either search for JWrightMCPS's SDHC Driver Rollback cab, (I think there is a link in his post) or upgrade to his latest Rom which supports both, or wait for Laurentius and mine new update (release date 1st November) or buy an SDHC compatible card.

Hoe exactly did you apply this driver and wich driver did you use?
The HTC or this for Fujitsu Siemens?
Isn't thoose the same things?
IS there any issues like wifi not working or Active Synk synchronization problems?
Yes, the driver fujitsu siemens works in Samsung SGH-I600 WM6 and it does not have problems of wifi and active sync, working all

Does it needs a hard reset of the device when applying?
Can you removed it afterwards if something gets wrong?

Not hard reset only it requests to reinitiate device, after installing to driver, and it is possible removed in removing programs.

When applied this driver works with non SDHC card too right?
Now I'm having 2GB Sandisk micro sd card, if I apply this SDHC driver, this card (2GB non SDHC) will work with no complications, isn't so?
I make a test now with one microsd 256mb and she recognizes, no problem

I am guessing I will need to upgrade to WM6 - If so, can anybody point me in the direction of the upgrade for an Australian version? I have checked the promotion site http://www.samsungmobile.com/promotion/i600/index.jsp but Australia is not listed and my version number i600DTGE2 doesnt work.

I have a small problem, my i600 doesn't see sd cards at all. I was hoping this driver would help but it doesn't. My phone always worked, and than suddenly it doesn't show a card anymore.
I tried on WM5, WM6, 2 microSD cards (1gb and 2gb), and an HDSD 8gb card, but still nothing

Files like xxx.cab you must instal on your device, you nothing unzip just instal on your device ....
i have download this think, and i'll try tomorrow....

Have u tried not to insert a card ?
just start the smartphone without it. install driver from phone memory.// it gonna helps u

Hi Mr.juanfervs, I hope u can help me out; recently I tried to upgrade my i600 WM5 to WM6. and successfully downloaded the upgradation by WCED downloader; after the phone tried to restart & stuck up at 'Ultra Messagling'. from here the usb connection failed the PC to recognize the phone. Can you tell me 1. how can make connection between my phone and the PC; 2. how can I restart my phone and 3. how can I revive my phone. Thanks
The storage card was vanished in Raphael after i have installed the PocketDOS_V1.12.3
what is the reason?
I plug and pull the "Storate Card" many times,but The storage card was vanished all the same.
I restart the PPC but the problem was exist all the same!!!!

well unfortunately we cant help you because u dont have enough detail, please give us what type of micro sd card are you using, give us the name and if its either Micro SD or Micro SDHC and if it has a Class number please give us it as well and also what ROM are you running as well

I use Micro SDHC （8G，fat32）in my htc touch pro!T7272
System Information:
HK-English
ROM version: 5.07.831.2
Radio version: 1.17.25.09 (HTC Touch Pro (For South Africa only)
but now,
The problem was resolved after i uninstalled the "PocketDOS file system drivers.cab"
If i don't uninstall the "PocketDOS file system drivers.cab",have other methods to resolve the problem?
like as modify the registry。
it looks like a conflict in the software....you might have to find an alternate program

I recently purchased Samsung Galaxy Blaze(T-Mobile, USA). I am trying to install Aura Sygic on this phone.
Installation of the core application goes fine without any error, but when I am trying to download complete USA maps, it's throwing an error "Not enough size available". Basically it's trying to download all the map data(around 4 GB) over the phone memory instead of SD card.
By default this phone comes with 4GB SD card and I am planning to buy another 16 GB SDHC card, but I am not sure, if there is any way to install applications by-default on the SD card instead of phone internal memory.
Posting this thread on XDA, hoping that genius developers can help me here without rooting/voiding the warranty.
Any updates guys?
