Touch pro boot issue - General Questions and Answers

I have a touch pro from sprint and i'm having a problem with my boot screen.when the boot screen comes up it cuts the top off the windows 6.1 boot image and windows bar appears and looks a bit scrambled as it boots but always clears up and boots and runs fine and somtimes boots fine.is there a known isssue with this?i also had this problem with a ppc6800 that i had.any help would be great

Certain ROM do that bug, my ROM for my HTC Touch do it, my ROM for my Diamond doesn't do it. I think it's a build issue don't worry.

HELP: Touch Cube Uninstallation causes Tilt Not to Boot

I installed the HTC Touch Cube on my Tilt but decided to uninstall the application. I went through the normal Remove programs through the Settings. I removed only the HTC Touch Cube application and noticed that immediately the touch screen was unresponsive. I could only navigate with the buttons. I shut off the phone and then restarted, but now the phone gets stuck at the Windows Mobile splash screen and does not fully boot. I can only remove the battery and restart but same thing, stuck at windows mobile splash screen.
Please help ASAP. I do not know what can be done at this point.

Endless alignment loop on Touch Pro

Hi all,
I bought a second hand Raphael on eBay. The previous owner said he flashed WinMo 6.5 and a HardSPL. Something seems to have gone wrong somewhere, because WinMo starts up and shows the welcome screen and then the touchscreen alignment dialogue over and over. As soon as I touch all five points, the alignment process starts again.
I have already re-flashed WinMo 6.5 an 6.1 with the same results. I have also added a WELCOME.NOT file and tried a soft reset. The file just disappears after the reboot.
The boot loader says as version numbers:
R 1.14.25.05
R 52.63.25.34u
D 5.00.00.00
I'd be glad for any pointers. Maybe a pre-calibrated rom?
Also, I actually want to run Android on the little fellow. Could I just try to flash LightNHB and run Android from there?
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Kevin
That's not the bootloader screen numbers, but I don't think that's the problem. It may just be a crappy rom on there. Getting to the alignment screen is a good sign that the device isn't bricked. I would say just flash another rom; use one of the android-starter roms if that's what you want on there.
Thanks for the answer, unfortunately it seems the touch screen is broken
I managed to install Android using LightNHB, worked a treat. Androids calibration screen seemed to take all five poinst, but the coordinates it printed out where all on the same y-coordinate. The touch screen doesn't work in Android after that (I mean, how could it ).
I'll have a look around to see if I can buy a new screen for cheap.

P920 does not start with exchange digitizer

Hi,
the front screen of my p920 is cracked, but it still works perfect. Now i have replaced the cracked screen with a new one. The problem is, once the new display is connected, the phone does not boot up. It starts and shows the silvern LG logo, but then the screen stays black. The Custom Rom "GPCR ICS V2.1 by P-VLAD" is installed. When I connect the old (cracked) screen, everything works fine. Even if neither of these is connected the p920 boots perfect, without a staying black screen. But as soon as I connect the new touch screen, it does not work. Why? Defective touch screen or problems with the custom rom perhaps?
Regards,
Nils
Edit:
Also the new one doesnt look exactly the same as the original touch screen. Here is a picture: oi41.tinypic.com/30ij1v9.jpg
