Hey,
have already used the SUFU, but I am not rise right answer , so my question...
I did an upgrade to WM6.1 and has done everything. But one thing bothers me. Received SMS can not be mark as unread. (This item appears in the context menu, but it is gray instead of black.)
Find the thread sms very good but there is a possibility to mark a read sms to unread?
So I can not forget to respond to SMS because I do not always respond immediately when I can get a sms and just read.
thanks

Hi,
The option to mark as (un)read is not functioning when threaded SMS is activated.
Dirk
You gotta wonder sometimes about the logic driving Microsoft:
If the user want threaded SMS, he no longer has a need to know whether he has got unread SMS'es or not!

Is there any alternative for SMSDRfix by Saman-cz? It does perfectly what it should, but it's annoying when sending out a group sms.
If you would get 30 sms'es, you'd get 1 notification on the first with the content of the sms. If you still have unread messages and get another sms, you'll see '10 new messages' or something similar with the SMS notification. If you go to the inbox, the popup for the new messages is gone. But now for the delivery notification, take for example 30 people to whom you will send an sms to, you'll get 30 delivery notifications and 30 popups which can only be deleted manually and one by one. This notification popup can't be disabled through the Sounds menu in the settings cpanel. If you mark the delivery notifications as read in the inbox, the popups are still there.
I read in older topics that Saman wouldn't make changes anymore to his utility, which I find a real pity. So my question now is if it is possible to remove all those ugly notification popups from SMSDRfix at once or if there is an alternative to this utility that actually works without causing headaches.
(the popups are gone when a soft reset is performed, but that's not always a good solution)
thx
i found smileysms, but that doesn't do it either.
also 30 popups for 30 sms delivery notifications..
ANYone?
Don't know of an alternative, but If the problem is with group sms's you can send some using an app called GroupSMS
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=307296&highlight=GroupSMS
also, delivery notifications can be disabled from Messaging/SMS/Menu/tools/options
click on SMS\MMS and unmark Request Delivery Notifications
if you want to receive the notifications AND be able to dismiss them all at once, i don't have a solution for you, sorry.
Add new features to SMSDRFix by Saman yourself!

Saman mailed me the source files of SMSDRFix (SMSDeliveryFix)!
I use smsdrfix to show the name of the recipient on the dr. But it removes the delivery date/time which I also needed. Any alternatives that can show both recipient name and date/time? Thanks in advance.
Hi guys, I have search and searched but could not find the solution to this. I had the same problem with the TD1.
When you have a new email or sms, a green bubble shows the amount of unread messages.
If you read the message in THREADDED view, the bubble still remains. So you have to read the message again in normal TEXT view.
Is there a way to remove the bubble completely or make it dissappear after you have read the THREADDED text.
Thanks in advance guys.
worked for me by clicking the name of the sender in the threaded view under the contacts page.....
if you mean under the tf3d tab, just read the msg, dont do anything for like 5-10 secs, then it will have been marked as read.... ... it seems to be a tf3d prob, so its kindda slow to figure out you have red the msg.
hope it helps..
Having a slight problem here with my new captivate (came from an iPhone 4 and happy btw )
When someone sends me a text, and I reply... sometimes my 'bubble' will go above theirs and during a fast texting conversation I can send many texts that will go above all of my friends, causing it to be very hard to read. This happens with a bunch of people that text me. All people involved are on AT&T network, all getting automatic time from smartphones.
Any way to force texts to go in the order your device receives/sends them rather than by a time stamp?
Thanks folks
I've installed handcent and set it as my default in launcherpro.... BUT now I get double notifications (one handcent, one original) up top and only the handcent one clears when I view the message

Disable notifications in the settings for the Messaging app that came with the phone.
I have a bespoke program for reading the sms inbox and I just want to set to zero the sms Unread : checked with the value of SMS Unread but it is not working , and also notification is always there
so please if you could point me to the program that is called using the Menu Notifications and the the right button (Tout Eff. in French , I think it is All Clear in English) and could you tell me how to mark the sms as Read without going into the inbox
Sorry if this has been asked, but is there a way that when you open the messages app it goes to the new messages rather than your last screen? It seems silly that the phone knows I have new messages to view, but instead takes me to the last message I was in.
You can try using alternative SMS apps and see if they have a feature like that.
I know GO SMS (and handcent and others) have a notification pop up when someone texts you. Pressing on that pop up would bring you to that particular SMS thread.
