This program is very good cab editor for all platform (PPC, SMART, etc...).
I'm create and edit eT9 polish language cab file - install and tested on my SPV E650 - all OK

Can anyone extract the Newer Jbed from S740 ROM for Vox??

Hi all chefs, great contributions by all of u to this Vox community, i had a small query, can you please extract the Newer Jbed from s740 rom... or post a newer version other than the JBED3DMOD version, coz its old enuf now and has a annoying error/bug in wch the lower portion of the screen of Jbed doesnt match with the screen of jbed, instead it shows the background patch.. i hope u understand wat i m tryin to explain, coz this is a very common bug i suppose,,, thanks in advance

Wow, it works perfectly!!!!
I'm so happy, finally a jbed version which displays Gmail normally without missing menus
update: AND the voipbuster client is also working!
INSTRUCTIONS for install on other ROM:
(use total commander or resco explorer)
Just copy the contents of the JbedJava folder to the Vox \Windows folder and replace the old files.
Do the same with the files in the 0409 folder.
(if your language is Russian, use the 0419 folder or use 0809 for UK English)
You will need to update you java apps (menu - actions - update)
or reinstall them.
(I installed on Mona Lisa)

finally the gmail java app works properly!thanks a bunch

Hey Frauhottelmann, as always, great greater greatest job... thanks a lot.... the interface of the new jbed is coooool... no more of that annoying transparent bar at the bottom, everything nice...
btw can u please tell me do i need to rename files before pasting into windows folder, coz presently i have just copied ur given folder into the storage card and running it from there itself...
one more doubt, can we change the font of jbed, coz its not the standard segoe font and the present font is veryyy small to read, tried extra large fonts also in opera mini... still small fonts... please tell how to change jbed font and font size....

Usually it should work if you just copy it. But the old Java version is probably included in the ROM, so that might cause an error. You need Resco Explorer or something similar to that. Windows Explorer doesn't overwrite files that are in ROM.

k... and wat abt fonts... how to change fonts and font size of jbed ???

For me replacing don't work, I'll must wait for a CAB file :/

I'll post here the same message I posted on the java bible topic hoping someone will help.
Even if it doesn't support 3D apps and it's an older version there are some users on this forum (including me ) who'd like to have this version on their devices. Isn't there anyone with the right knowledge willing to help us ? Thanks in advance !

Where can i find a good reg edit program ?? Have found plenty of good apps, an everyone seems to have a reg edit prog, but where can i find a link !

Pocket PC but this is a smartphone ?? HTC D2

I use Total Commander (you can find it here if needed http://ghisler.fileburst.com/ce/tcmdpocketmips.cab ).
It's totaly free.
It's also a very good file browser. ie, you can easy make multiple selections with it. And, you can connect to ftp servers too !
If you try it, to go to registry, select //module in root directory...

There is QuickCab 2.0 Cab Creation that's free but i use WinCE CAB Manager not free but very good.

Get Manila 2.5 CAB to work with stock roms!

Hey, posted this in the general forum too but I enjoy the new interface on my phone so much I wanted to share it. Just follow the attached instructions. If there any problems, just ask.
Please also note, landscape mode is activated by presing the "<" button on your phone
Known issues discovered after feedback:
1) Album searcher doesn't display videos
2) Music doesn't play when the screen is switched off
I have asked the creator of the cab file for help with these. Will keeo you posted.

Man, tks very much i was looking for a way to have manila without flashing my phone.
In the the tuto you must may be add that after the installation of the manila cab you will lose the settings icon. TO fix it we have to change the value of
HKLM / SECURITY / SHELL / START INFO / HideSettings from 1 to 0.
You can also specify that manila will only work on the an English ROM. otherwise we will face the IDS_ issue...
I can't still use the Weather do you know how to fix that ?

You can use Manila Language Manager to install other languages.

You can access settings by going to the settings tab and selecting "all settings". I never had a problem with weather but some people have. try installing the "disable location" cab. As far as other languages go, I have no idea.

I tried on my clean WM 6.5.3 ROM this cab with Manila 2.5 2016 and it works.

i tried this cab with your kubino clean rom v1.1 but i had some issues:
- com manager does not activate wifi
- contact panel in manila does not make calls
++

I have the same problem and i can not make any call from my contacts
