I am looking for a Pocket PC that will work in the TMO network in the US. I have looked on ebay and replied to a few post for sale items here.
I am looking to spend US $250 including shipping unless the item/s offered make it worth my while to spend more.
XDA XDA II or any pocket PC phone that will easily be unlocked and work with t-mobile and my current sim. I can pay via money order or via my best friends paypal account (he is buying one of the tmo branded ones already).
I will be buying what ever unit fits my price range by Jan. 30th there are about 10 I am looking at currently but thought i would give this place a try also to see what other options can come of it. Please reply here with unit specs and price including shipping, contact me directly from info in profile.
I'm sick and tired of repeatedly ringing all my local o2 stores to see if they've got any in stock, so please post if you know of any that do - preferably in the Surrey/London area.
Also with out starting another thread on best price etc. O2 offering XDa II at £199 on £15p/m contract so therefore cost £379 over the year. I'm not going to use the contract at all just intererested in handset and this is cheaper than I can pick up a second hand one on ebay. However if anyone knows of a cheaper way to get hold of one please let me know. (in another thread someone said o2 selling it for £300 sim-free but to be honest not sure I believe that to be correct!).
I doubt you can find one by phoning the shop up. My local o2 shop has a list of customers waiting for a xda. Last time I looked it was two pages long and they're only getting 3 handsets a week from distrribution.
Good Morning, This post if for all the non UK visitors to this forum. I have a new XDA 2 for sale. It has been locked by O2 as I received a new one via insurance but they have forgot to pick up the old one, (been 6 months now) so I know it's okay to sell. All other functions apart from the phone work, but I have been told that once it leaves the UK the phone part will reactivate itself and it will become as new. Please email me on
[email protected] with any genuine offers. Please be advised it will cost £30 to ship it anywhere in the world and this includes insurance upto £500, so add this onto the amount you wish to pay for the goods
Thanks for looking

I found a HTC One X+ (AT&T version) on ebay. The matter is the price. The auction started in 370 USD. I think that is too cheap. The description says this
I am selling the latest HTC ONE X+ 64GB which is locked to ATT network. This is an upgrade in almost every department of the already fantastic and popular One X. Buyer assume full responsibility if purchasing to unlock and use on any network other than ATT. This phone is only two and a half weeks old and used for only about a week. It was in the Speck grip case from the time of purchase and is included in this auction. As you can see in the pictures the original charger and sync cable are still in wrappers. Included in this auction are the original box and manuals, phone, battery, AC wall charger and Sync cable, Sim eject pin, and brand new SPECK candyshell grip case. US bidders only and will ship to continental US only. I accept Paypal only as payment.

So I don't know if is this a scam, or there is a problem with this particular version, or it is impossible to unlock I don't know. What do you think guys about this version?
Well how many days are left on it? Nowadays people usually wait to bid last second on eBay and even if it was a scam and you paid your money eBay and PayPal will always side with the buyer usually

Are there any comments about this version?
You could try posting in the One X+ forum and checking with people who already own the device?

Auctions often start at a low price to attract attention. As mentioned, most the bidding happens on the last day of the auction, even the last hours/minutes. Bidding a high price early just pushes the auction price unnecessarily high.
Bidders determine the ultimate price of the item. So you can't tell if an eBay auction is a scam, solely by price. Look at the sellers rating.

I found the auction:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/HTC-One-X-6...1039819421?pt=Cell_Phones&hash=item1c2e89129d
There are four days left to go. Rest assured the price will go up substantially based on what others are selling for.
The seller has two feedbacks, both from selling phones, apparently both today. I would be a bit wary of this--who knows where he got these?

Thanks for your comments. I sent a mail to the seller asking this:
Hi
1.- Which is the firmware version?
2.- Did you try to unlock it before?
3.- Why are you selling this htc?
Cheers

He answered this:
I do not have the firmware version readily available. The phone is already boxed and ready for shipping because someone already had won it in a previous auction. However he was from Russia and I do not ship internationally and so this is a relisted auction. I can unbox it tomorrow and power it on and give you the firmware number. I have never attempted to unlock the phone but I have read that it is definitely possible but I am unsure of what networks it would work on. That is up to the buyer however it is my understanding that it should work on any GSM network worldwide as long as the bands are supported. I am selling the phone because I am somewhat of a phone junkie and have many different phones. I am currently using a Lumia 920 and at the moment prefer the WP8 platform. I also have the LG Optimus G and a Samsung S3!!! I will probably be selling those off too in the near future. If you look at my history I have sold already a One X, Focus 2, Atrix 2, and Galaxy S3
