I dont know if your being sarcastic or not, but winmo in that video is for the smartphone edition a.k.a winmo standard. the kaiser runs on winmo professional. So no it does not have what you were asking for.

ok, then you just confirmed that microsoft is truly retarded, actually offering something really decent in winmo 6.1 for smartphone but not for professional.
may I ask why you'd decided on this ROM ( reboot bug ) instead of the others ???
3.02 has older softwares ... I can understand that ...etc
but why not v3.08 ??

the new VodaPhone ROM is lots slower even though it is "newer" I did lots of testing and this is the fastest ROM to date. I will post screen shots soon as I have been cooking something new using this base If it works out well I think you all will like it!
the reboot bug is a small issue that is worth having for what you get with this rom After using KaiserTweak or Shaps tool and ajdusting the cache sizes it flys!!

I have to agree. Used all 3 and found this one the fastest. Did you already tweak the cache sizes or do we need to do it?

Ive experimented with the cache here and there and have never really ran the necessary tests to see which combination delivers the best results. Your expertise would be much appreciated.
I havent tried any 6.1 roms yet, but yours was the first one I flashed to when I got my kaiser. Welcome back and keep up the good work...

Always set the cache to the largest they can go we have the program memory room in the kaiser so nothing to worry about

Austinsnyc which application do you prefer to use when setting the cache to highest settings. Schap's or KaiserTweak or does it really matter because they are both adjusting the registry.

personally i use regedit and adjust them myself but if i was going to use one it would be shaps advanced config

Here's my first attempt at ROM cooking. Foremost, I must thank all the ROM cookers (you know who you are!) who has given me the inspiration to cook this vanilla edition. Also, thanks to you guys "ROM Junkies" (like me) for giving me the PUSH. The reason I cooked this vanilla edition is because I had always wanted a vanilla version. Secondly, I wanted to have the feel and to understand the effort required to cook a ROM.
This ROM is based on GnatGoSplat's WM6.1 Clean 5.2.19202 (Build 19202.1.0.0) Eval. I am releasing my vanilla edition with his blessings. Thanks so much Gnat.
What's out:
- the old WM homescreen
- all previous homescreen schemes
- JBed (java)
- Windows Live icons
- no soft-key short-cuts (due to varied devices; please install separately)
- no tweaks included, yet!
What's in:
- Sliding Panel homescreen
- Rinku Bar "ready" (included only the icons - may included full apps in future version)
- Threaded SMS is retained
- xT9 (instead of T9)
Please follow installation process from KarHoe's Guide
The flashing takes a little longer when it is at 100%. Please be patient.
On first reboot you may have a blank homescreen. Go to Settings>Home Screen>change either the Color scheme or Background image and >Done
I dont know why. Probably coz I changed/removed the green scheme.

i found a cupbile of bugs
1 chome operator name it not in the right place and to small to see
2 bootscreens are missing theres is no HTC.gif in \windows\
and oemstartup.dll is allso missing from windows
Bug as in the original ROM. When syncing with Exchange you cannot get passed the password screen as the phone has hung

I think that this are those Vanilla changes... fine to me, because I disable all splash crap.
I think that only universal IME should be installed, without any languages database fot T9,XT9 etc.
I use my country T9 and it is no use for me, as many many non-speaking-english users. Vanilla should be vanilla

I only include Rinku Bars' icons with the intention of installing the full apps in future release. So if you want it now you have to install it separately.
I am also aware of the slow flashing. It was mentioned in the first post too. I am looking for a solution.

I removed the VoIP dll so I am not sure if provisioning works. Have you tried Gnats Eval version?

I hope you could include ROMUpdateUtility to ease the flashing....and is there a way to remove the threaded SMS?
It seems to work well except the font size on the today screen is a bit smaller. Now 8 hours after installation.

1. I forgot to mention that I installed my modified cpr file. Thats why the operator name is not at its original position and the font is thinner. The sliding panel is also slimmer. I also included the bronzeres file that contains more icons.
2. Those were removed to make sure it is vanilla and I think it doesnt impact performance.

there is a tweak to revert the threaded sms. i will try to get it for you and also there are request from others.

illi could you edit your rom so it shows the default bootscreens you no the ones with wm6.1 on it and iv fixed your cpr if you what it ill upload it so you can put it in your next rom

Just Installed this rom and all I can say is WOW! Just absolutely beautiful and Super responsive. FM radio, Nice Icons, M2D & Titanium, Beautiful Theme, Stable. This is certainly a keeper. Cant wait to try your lite version also because I can imagine how much faster this will be without M2D ect. Man this rom flys. Keep up the good work!
Ok so far Advanced Configuration 3.3 will not open on this rom (not signed with certificate error message. htcAddicts clean ram 1.5 same message. Also, lockscreen backlight stays dim, but I think there's a cab for fix?

The Icon is there but when I press it nothing happens. Got my hopes up for a minute hahaha! Still cant get advanced configuration to work nor htc clean 1.5 any luck anyone? Man gfx boost makes this thing FLY.

Hmmmm...yes...xip 23001 it touched some dll's...but i will try to port some dlls from 21901...some worked there. But this is the pay for speed

Its all good man Your rom is slamming. I just installed Neo Driver along with Net 3.5 Config and advanced config 3.3 and htc clean ram 1.5 works like a charm now. Also used TPC lockscreen backlight fix for contunual backlight on lockscreen. Great Rom so far man with all my goodies installed. Just waiting to see how battery holds up. FM radio I believe would be a first on kaiser if you can get it running.

did anyone get the fm radio program to work on dutty's old roms? from what all i've read it be impossible for it to work on kaiser as it doesn't have the hardware for it
i am just curious about the newly released hero rom and if it can be worked into being used for our magics... i was reading up on it on MoDaCo in hero developement section

The "big boys" are working on that. Most every developer got their hands on this 2.xxx series dump from the HTC Hero.
A few ROMS that are out now with bits and pieces, for instance:
- TwistedZero has his out 5.0r3 of Casper.
- JACHeroSki has 1.7r2.
etc.
What's good that's new in this latest update? Anything worthwhile or just mostly performance fixes.
im thinking because it gives them actual settings inside the rom so they can pass those to us.. for example LED correction bluetooth etc..

I second that!!! make sure you read his dream thread!!! class6 with 3 partitions or it wont work!!!!
I have been geting 175-180 in the benchmark app from the market!!! Stock rom was 140-150... Fatal1ty's hero was geting 120-125... LOL
Im using MyHero v1.1.0
Now that seems to be running faster than stock, no partitions needed and using a class4.
Paul drops his 2.0 on Monday.
His Twitter feed suggests that he will have his ROM prepared for testing come Monday (Labor Day) for those willing to get their hands on the FULL 2.0 series update.
He has been testing it on his Magic/Sapphire for a while, so let's hope for the best.

Full nandroid backup first. You definitely need to wipe before coming from another ROM, even if it is 2.1 based.
Don't ask me to port this to the older 3.22 32A Radio, or to 32B, because I don't have the time to. (and I don't really want to)

From what i can see right now the boot animation is a LOT faster than with cursorsense!!
There is some sluggishness when changing home screens but elsewhere everything is fast.

EDIT: managed to install astro through adb and get a benchmark running. CPU tests are giving good results.
I tried instally Market via adb and this is the error i get : Failure [INSTALL_FAILED_MISSING_SHARED_LIBRARY]
! Also not working : Network-based location

I prefer to use my spoken lang there in this case are danish.

You can use an application which is called More Locale 2, it gives you more language options, even though they are not present in the Language Settings. Check if your language is there, if you set it then you should get your language displayed correctly Most 2.0 and above OS'es are ML already but don't have the choise to select the one you need

why not try to see if you can compile the 2.6.29 kernel from lox? i know he got it up running pretty good on hero.
tried this for a few minutes, and immediately went back to cursorsense. beyond the nice lock screen, i didnt see anything that was nicer than sense1.5, and was scared off by the FC's. i would love to see a cursorespresso coming out soon tho, i dont see much promise in just pure eclair.
