Hi guys. I've been trying to find a program for my omnia ii that can quickly launch any program i have installed by just typing the application's name on the on screen keyboard. It should work something Like spotlight for mac and windows vista or this program called T9 nav for s60 phones.
Hope such a thing exists as i feel it is the quickest way to launch programs rather than flipping through pages of icons.

This is just an sudden idea, I haven't test it ^^
The theory is emulating wm2005 on your PC and then drag it to your Magician take some pictures or clips and upload to Youtube to surprise everyone ^^
But how???
first of all you have to find the wm2005 emulator somewhere on microsoft website
Buy and install a software called Innobec SideWindow that can extend the desktop of your PC to use the pocket PC as a second monitor
SideWindow transforms your PDA into a virtual desktop extension, allowing you to drag applications such as your favorite picture viewer, media player and instant messaging applications to your PDA while freeing your main display's real estate for something more useful. (some word from Innobec site)
Now install wm2005 emu and drag it to your pocket PC. Sidewindow use finger or stylus to interact with the applications as a mouse so you can work with wm2005 on Magician as a REAL ONE
Have fun my friend (and sorry for my bad English )
But wht if PC is not available?
fun idea.
I said it an idea for FUN and for whom who like to experience wm2005 running on their Magician for some hours when they 're at home
The mobile Excel version WM5 was a very helpfull thing than you can able to open a lot of workbooks at the same time and feel like you are using your own computer, you just need to add another program to see them like true toolbar (the version 2.5 not the 2.7.2)
Now I have the HTC Diamond WM6.1, when you open some workbook and you whant to go to the main program Mobile Excel to open another one, you can see it for a second the main program and then the workbook that you just has opened bring to you back again, my cuestion is what can I change in the registry or some other sw in where do not minimize the main program Mobile Excel to open another workbooks and work on them at the same time?

is there is any way to make "Whatsapp" application work on my htc touch pro 2?
I am also trying to download this application, but it seems it only supports Iphone & Blackberry.
On their official web page they say it will be soon abailable for androin and symbian, but notning about windows devices.
If anybody knows how to hack the program so it works on our TP2, I'll bee very thankfull...
Hello
I have become a owner of a new htc touch 2 with windows mobile 6.5
a frend of mine has htc hd phone and also win 6.5 but he can use programs like command prompt, regedit, creating grups of contacts, I can't do eny of them how come ?
do I have to instal something to be able to use regedit etc... ?
Thanks
You need the right cab files for these programms.....they circulate here....but no reason why you can not what your friend can....
but regedit and command prompt are a part of the windows ? why would I need to explicity install it
Ah ok, understand to edit your registry you need a program like attached.....
but be careful.....any mistake can screw up your device.....and soft reset after making a chance.....
For command prompt look here.....http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2148175#post2148175
And if you do some searching you find programs to make groups in contacts.....
Have fun

Windows Mobile 6.5 is based on Windows Compact Embedded Edition, WindowsCE for short, We're not dealing with windows 7, or vista, or even XP, but what is essentially a very stripped down OS thats closer "related" to Windows 95. (anyone wanting to knit pick the previous statement, please note the inverted comma's. I know some people are very pedantic)
While Win95 had both said features, I just wanted to explain how limited 6.5 is, these are tools that WILL run on 6.5 but are not included.
