Install different language pack? - myTouch 3G, Magic Android Development

Is it somehow possible to install a different language for auto completion without the need of flashing the phone? If so; where to find it?
I have searched the forum but it looks like this is not discussed...

Adapting extended rom. possible or not?

Hello Magician guys....
After having now for a long time the good old XDA I device i recently upgraded to Magician device. Received it today and think it was a good choice. Now i have spent a long time here in the forum to get more infos concernig this device.
All i want to do in the moment is to customize my device. Aborting the extended rom installation and dumping the rom worked fine. ;-)
Glad to read this all here in the forum.
But now i want to change the extended rom.
After reading many postings here, i could not find any solution. Maybe i´m blind or it´s still impossible to do that.
Can anybody give me a hint to a thread how to do this, or dissapoint me and tell me it´s in the moment definitly not possible....
Regards
Stefan

Click to collapse
i think the or is correct
Actually it is possible to change the Extended ROM content, but you can only read the modified content. And if you want to change it, you have to hard reset in order to flash it again.
 so how do you change it??
I wouldn't mind re-flashing if I could choose to install stuff to Extended ROM....

It works for me with ROM version 1.03.

Hmmm, I don't think you get much response if you asked it this way, the first thing you should do on this forum is read before you start a new thread.
By the way I don't know exactly what you mean, but if you are looking for a dutch rom for the vox, try to download the rom from frauhottelman you can find it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=488527 .
Just read and you'll find the downloadlink.
I'm now downloading your link to see what you mean by putting in this language.

[Q] got the chinese version I want to have the android market in italian or english

Hi,
I'm just got as gift a TF101 here in china. changed the language to italian works for some of the software including the polaris office, but not for the android market which is chinese.
please could you help me to fix it. or explain me if I can install firmware WW and have the italian or at least englich market?
thank you a lot to who can help me with some detailed instruction.
I'm also ready to lose warrant by rooting or installing sku, please just help me since with chinese android I'm stuck.
Thanks
Serfun
I used cf root (CF-Root-SGS2_XX_OXA_KG5-v4.1-CWM4), revolution HD and clemsys kernel on my chinese TF.
It dumped the crappy chinese system stuff in rom and allowed me to access the market in English.
A big problem is that market is blocked here because it's google and google is blocked. This seems to get around it.
I use aptoide a lot to get market stuff...
My s/n is B70KAS071796. Anything newer than that may not work...
I wish I could give you detailed instructions, but I'm a newbie and just sort of fumbled around for a couple of days. This was the winning combo. CF root page has some good instructions on how to do it.
Fumbling is good....
Honest...
Hope this helps
Pete
I have a transformer in China as well. Part of the problem is Android Market uses your ip address to determine where you are and thus what language to use.
I use Revolver on mine, and most of the time Market is in English.
Your best bet is to switch to a custom rom. However, none of the custom roms have the Asus Chinese Handwriting input, so you'll need a replacement. They all should have pinyin though.
solved
I've used razorclaw to root it. Then installed the firmware manager e then changed to ww rom. Now all OK. Thanks to all

How to flash a Stock Rom

Hi everybody, sorry to bother you.
My name is Diego, i live in Argentina.
I bought my cell 2 days ago and it´s a US phone, an AT&T one. It´s full of garbage, 15 apps of ATT and more stuff like that.
I need to install/flash a stock rom asap.
I was looking all the guides and i´m really confused. I come from Samsung, it seems to me more easy than this (or maybe it´s just a question of time xD). In adittion of all this, english is not my native language ... so. I want to ask you for help.
I need that you guide me, simple steps, in order to achive my goal: a stock rom.
Please, can you do that for me?
Thanks a lot.
Can you help me please?
