just the question in general , without been specific of phone ., there are files floating for some cell phones to be flashed called monster files and these files have .SBF
If i flashed a phone with it ,thats it i get whats there on that file, ESN ..PRL ..etc
before flashing a cell with the monster.SBF , can i modd this file with my original info .?
such as can i fix the ESN of the .sbf file so that my phone will be back as it was with sprint .

I found some files and info on how to fix emid on my TP1, as the txt on how to do that ,all the files programs are in that download., and one of those programs was or is cdma workshop 2.7 cracked ., when i try to win rar i see 2 files .exe inside the cdma folder, but when winrar is done the folder is empty , i turned off norton ...virus ., so the question why is that . how can i install this program .?
any trick needs to be done.?

i am thinking that by moving the modem files this will put the mesmerizes on boost towers allowing me to use one of them however i dont know how to create the file needed for odin can someone please help i have attatched the prevail modem files in the attachment labeled project.zip i dont know how to create the files needed for odin3 nor do i know how to make the files work with each other basically what i would like to do is run this phone on boost network and have the boost boot images
update i was able to flash verizon wireless to this phone but still not able to flash boost
I have a Samsung Galxy Ace rooted running on ICS (Myth Rom). i dont want the myth rom now. i dont have nandroid backup (stock rom backup). therefore i have downloaded it from web. Should i install it?? or there is any other way to get out of this.Or give me any site where i can download the proper stock rom of android 2.3.4 (gingerbread) for my samsung galaxy ace!! help me please!!!!

i downloaded the rom from samsdroid transfered to sd but when i tried to flash it (in CWM) ,there was no such file shown...!! what should i do!!??
maybe it was a tar file meant for flashing thru odin??
Did the file that you downloaded has a .zip file extension behind ? , if it doesn't , add in the .zip . Sometimes , CWM can't detect because mainly of the file extension . It might also be of your antivirus , i've heard of some cases , that people's antivirus started randomly deleting files off , thinking that they're malware and viruses .
My imei no got lost while restoring backup using cwm..... i looked around the forum and the ".nv_data" method will not do because my efs folder has a file named "essiv" only and nothing else.....
if someone would confirm what files are contained in thier efs folder and mail it to me also i'll be grateful......
I don't think the 'efs folder' of one device can be used with other devices as it contains the device's IMEI number.
Could you elaborate a bit as to what did you do that resulted in the loss of your IMEI number ? It would help others avoid it in future.
Well.... i restored the same backup file couple of times 'coz i was trying to flash a new theme...btw i am on stock indian 2.3.5......
the files in efs folder can be edited using hex editor (read somewhere in the s2 forum...i don't remeber which thread) so the imei no. in that file can be modified...
Hello today i will be teaching you how to change your CSC on your A326U you can do this on V1, V2 , V3.
Before we proceed YOU NEED TO BE ROOTED.
Changing your CSC will give better looking icons and give your modem full access to 5G ( no speed throttling ) plus you wont get stock apps pertaining to your carrier. (bloatware)
This will also allow you to record calls with the built in recorder and more...
To change your csc you must take out sim card then using a file explorer head over to /optics/configs/carriers delete everything EXCEPT the SINGLE folder, then go inside SINGLE folder and delete all except XAA
then head over to /efs/imei
Change your mps_code.dat value to XAA Do the same with omcnw_code.dat & salescodeChanged.
delete the .baks Insert Sim and Reboot.
The csc file allows you to bypass throttling from any carrier if so where can I find such a file is it a custom csc file or stock csc file? Or do you just edit the csc without any other csc file?
Strange that there is no salescodeChanged inside imei folder.
Unless you meant prodcode.dat or cid.dat or total_call_time?
