HELP WITH i910 TouchFlo 2D Manilla adding weather citys - General Topics

ok iv been working on this all weekend and i just cant get it to work my city is Asheville, nc iv got my local code from accu weather , iv tried changing the weather database with an editor and its pissing me off any help would be greatly appreciated

Is M2D patched? As otherwise you will not get custom weather.

is there a youtube or simple step-by-step guide to adding animation and new cities to md2 for the weather panel? I have read several posts. Tilt's to Diamonds are being mentioned and it does not "appear" from what I've read that all solutions work for the Omnia i910.
any help would be appreciated.

I am using Manilla 2D on original rom JUIG4.
I cannot add any cities on to the weather page. It beeps and doesn't allow any data entry.
Please help!

Questions of Manila 2d on Omnia i910

I have a few questions about Manila 2d that I have downloaded on my Samsung Omnia (VZ i910).
-How can you add contacts to your people menu?
-How can you add programs to the program menu?
*I have clicked on both, held each spot, but nothing happens.
-How can I set up my location for the weather tab?
*I have tried to click add location, but nothing works
-I have tried to download a new theme, however each and every time I do so (following directions) the interface only takes up 2/3 of the screen leaving a small area at the bottom under the different tabs of extra space. I had a feeling that perhaps the files I was downloading weren't QVGA, but I downloaded another and it still didn't work.
Also, is there a reliable Manila 2d that supports landscape? I heard some member here was working on it.
Any suggestions are welcomed.
hmmmmm

The landscape part, I would check the main M2D thread. I believe that Helmi was close to getting it done. Which version of M2D are you using? I ask because the version might actually be the reason why you can't get it to work properly. I have seen that problem a few times in the early versions of M2D, where people had all sorts of issues adding things to the launchers. Let us know so that we can help you out.
I just spent the last 3 hours getting all the nessary information to install Manila 2D on my Omnia. I got it working. now the only thing is the the flow menu that you use to navigate between all the features (Home, Contacts, Messages, Internet etc...) is 3/4 way down the screen its not at the bottom where it should be. so when i go to Contacts the flow menu is 3/4 way down but all my contacts go down to the bottom. is there anyway to fix this
Thanks

Display cell info on sliding panel

Hi guys , I have the Vox with WM6.1 CLEAN v1.4 by fireburned on it.
I have activated channels and configured channel 50 ( display cell info.) . I am on Voda UK, so they send out your local dialling code on to this channel.
When i load most themes (e.g Wireless home theme, windows home screen) the cell info is there, and updated as I would want.
I have recently installed Fring, and it's on that theme homescreen too. but I cannot get it to work on any sliding panel screen, I have even tried copy and paste the relevent lines from a working homescreen .xml into a sliding panel one, but to no avail.
Does anybody know a plug-in that will display cell info on a sliding panel homescreen.
Many Thanks,
Tony.

Sorry to bump, I assume this is not possible?
You would have to write a plugin. Look in the Smartphone General Subforum, there is a guy who wrote a tasks plugin, maybe he can help you!
Hi,
You can see here how an homescreen is written with different plugins :

For your question, see BigCityLifeSkin3 and GrassSkin3 with SmartMonitor plugin.
Bye.

display my location weather on homepage

Is there a way of displaying today's weather on the homepage beneather the clock?
Buxtonlad
Hello again Buxtonlad
Do you have Windows Mobile 6.5? If so, I had to click on the clock, select my location as my city (Buxton, for you) and then it'll have the weather for Buxton under the clock.
This was after I had set my City in the Weather tab, but unsure if its required or not.
I take it that my manila file in the other topic worked OK?
Superman_1122
Manila file worked great - thanks.
Bought my D2 on 02 in June, think it's WinMo 6.1. Is it possible to upgrade to 6.5?
Sorry for the Qs... newbie round here!
Matthew
win 6.5
hey up you can either download 6.5 from here
http://www.htc.com/uk/SupportDownload.aspx?p_id=249&cat=2&dl_id=728
or if you look in the rom development section, you can find loads of great custom roms (these normally have loads of extras in, but not always as stable as the stock rom from htc)
and welcome to xda

M2D master skinners please help a novice!

I installed Manilla 2D over Schaps 3.54b ROM for Tytn.
As i loved the skin Shifu made for his cooked Kaiser ROM v 3.0 called "Rock and Republic brown", and as i didn't find this theme anywhere i tried to apply this skin to my Tytn copying from Kaiser all the images beginning with "hh_" plus "HTCHomeSettings.xml", "Wallpaper.jpg", "wallpaperL.jpg" and "HH_0410_WeatherCities.xml" in Tytn's Windows folder and then applying "Rock and Republic Brown.tsk" theme in Today settings.
The result i got is shown in the second picture below. The first one is the correct look the theme actually has on Kaiser.
I'm wondering how i can change color of the purple upper and lower frames to match the original look and how to adjust the background frame of clock in the correct position. Clock also lacks of colon and displays an undesirable flipping every minute change, not enough some text around is missing.
Surely this is not an hard task for a skin guru, anyone can help me understand a little more?
Many thanks to the community.
Anyone can help?
Moved as not theme release....
Really anyone can help?

[Q] how to set Weather Wallpapers?

Hi everyone!
Device : HTC Diamond 2 (Topaz)
Manila : 2.5.20121226.0
ROM : 2.53.482.4 (76952) ELL
OS : Windows Mobile 6.5 pro
I have installed CHT 2.00 and CHTScheduler 2.15 and they both work fine. On CHTScheduler there is an option says "Wallpapers depend on weather" without further explanation. I think it means that one can set a set of wallpapers to change according to the weather changes in Home screen.
Does anyone know how to set this option to work? Where can I find such wallpapers and where to put them?
How to set forelayer to change depending on the weather?
Thanks in advance.
23/1/11: I suppose there is nobody outthere to know the answer of my question. If someone has a clue, please let one give me a direction. Thanks.
