When using Coreplayer 1.3.2 before I could switch into landscape-full view autiomatically.
However now it seems to have broken.
I only get playback in portrait even when tiliting.
Other apps work w Accelerometer (like Opera)
I been trying out all kinds of settings on Coreplayer but can't find any to make it fullscreen in landscape. (Zoom, pixelratio etc)
Saw the thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/t-527214.html
but no tips there helped me.
No Manilaedits or CustomROM.
Nothing on Coreplayer support either.
I'm at a bit of a loss here, any ideas?

hello friends.. I read that coreplayer v1.1.3 was made to provide more performance to HTCs with Qualcomm..
is anybody using it? I installed v1.1.3 in my kaiser, but it doesnt play AVI files.. I donto know why... v1.1.1 plays avi...
Should I install codec to play AVI with v1.1.3?
No it's not the driver solution, but they did do a good job of taking advantage of somethign in there, i dont quite remember what, something to do with the qualcom chip or imageon or something but no, it's not the driver solution that we want from HTC.
And you probably need to set file preferences for avi's or something (in preferences menu somewhere), right now maybe they are by default being opening by something else?? I have no problems opening avis right out of the box.
I configurated it to play all files in Preferences/file associations,, but it doesnt work
I cant play avi files...
the main thread says it's a problem with the zoom feature, and you need to switch between video drivers (raw frame, gdi, q-whatever) and stop and restart app.
some people say better performance, but for me, high rez video still plays like crap, even if it's severely improved over the older beta/tcpmp versions. glad that the pocket divx encoder/lathe products are around...
i bought this. Cant see any major difference between this and old versions. all look crap.
Looks pretty good to me. Loving that the slider to forward or reverse the vid is smooth and doesnt choke up the damn device. zooming works nicer too.
Benchs Cplayer v1.1 vs v1.1.3
hello friends.. it gives high performance to my kaiser. take a look
Divx - 360x240, Bit rate 960kbps, audio mp3 192kbps, fps 25
kaiser..
v1.1.1
- mode Fit Best.. 50%
- mode Fill screen 93%
v1.1.3
- mode Fit best 175%
- mode Fill screen 180%
To compare..
TyTN (hermes)
v1.1.1 - 205% in both modes..
im sure i saw this somewhere but now that i need it, i cant find it >.<
how do i make it so that when i open a video in full screen it shows in landscape instead of portrait.
having to have the keyboard out is annoying.
Does anyone know how to get the aspect-ratio button described in this pocketnow story --
http://pocketnow.com/index.php?a=portal_detail&t=news&id=6541
-- to appear when watching videos with the player that comes up via HTC album? My impression was that the album/fullscreenplayer updates in recent ROMs should do it, but from the few I tried (ROMeOS, Proven), that didn't seem to be the case.
The closest I've ever gotten myself was installing the Blackstone version of the FullScreen Player, then toying around with the skin file to try to get the whole interface on the VGA screen (since it was built for the WVGA of the Blackstone). I got the button visible, but it didn't seem to do anything -- I'm not sure if further skin tweaking might have fixed it.
Anyone have any luck with this?
I want to 3D to 2D converter feature.

You're going to have to provide more explanation than that.
hello there,
yes i am looking for a solution as well for playing 3D (SBS or OU) movies on 2D mode with mx player (android set top box)
i thing it would be nice if there would be a simple option to crop/zoom screen and align it to just one eye stream (either half part of the movie)
(i don't like vlc player)

You can just use pan & zoom functions to achieve the same. BTW, we are adding more controls to zoom function to individually control vertical or horizontal zoom. You may stretch the video as you wish by using the new zoom controls.

Hello everyone,
I just recently switched from a HTC U11 to this wonderful MI 10 Pro and I couldn't be happier.
There's just one little thing that I realized and I don't know where I did something wrong in my settings or if it's a ROM issue.
Whenever I watch a Video in full screen, the phone kinda cuts off the sides (probably to fit in the full screen instead of putting a black bar over/under the video).
I find this quite annoying because I'm sometimes missing out on important information that's sometimes written on the screen.
This happens with all apps I tried (Instagram/IGTV, YouTube and Kiwi Browser).
Have you experienced that behavior before and how did you solve it?
I attached a Screenshot on how it actually looks like.
EDIT: I'm on MIUI Global 11.0.10.0
Have you tried pinch to zoom out?

Pinch to zoom only works on YouTube and only on horizontal videos. Not working on Instagram at all, Browser at all or on vertical videos on YouTube ?
Are there any settings somewher in the system that I need to check?
