Long Press End Key - strange icon - Touch Pro, Fuze General

Hi, I have a strange problem with Long Press End Key icon. Somehow icon in Settings --> System changed its colors - whole icon is gray/silver (see attachment). I can't find any solution, in File Explorer file LongPressEndKeyApp.exe is displayed correctly. Any ideas how can I fix it?

Odd "bug". Start button disappears, only task name showing?

I've come across this odd bug (dont know the exact steps to get there) where the start button would disappear and only the name of the active task is shown aligned to the absolute left (in place of the start button). Sometimes it happens after i hang up a call and go back to my previously selected task. And it switches back to working normally by itself too. It always fixes itself after the password screen. Not sure what to make of it? Anyone had the same problem?
Another bug is sometimes when I click on the 'phone signal' icon on top or the 'G' it shows an empty bubble (not showing the text or settings button). I think this may be due to using sktools to free up ram?
Btw, I'm not using quickmenu or wktask. Only using batterystatus which places the task manager arrow in the top bar.
seems like broken shadow copy of shellres mui...but it is just similar to my experiences, not really related...maybe.

Cannot Copy/Paste/TextSelect in Messages

Hello I have TD2 with stock rom and I suddenly lost option in Messaging menu (right soft key) to select text. Also copy and paste are missing now.
Is there any registry key to fix that or any other solution?
BTW when I long tap on a text there is Copy Paste, but Select Text is missing.
THANK YOU
Yep same problem here, very annoying!
go with stylus on the text and hold to have the menu"make selection"

quicklink noob

Quick question, I flashed the "Cookie, Energy" rom, latest version and previous versions. On the home screen with the clock, I press and hold my stylus on a blank quick link box. A new menu appears to select a program. Sometimes I select a program by error. How do I either change the program or delete it? In edit mode, I tried pressing the icon, a small menu appears with a "delete" command selection, if I select this the entire row is deleted. I want to know how to modify each quicklink in a row.
If you're using a Cookies Home Tab ROM, on your Home Tab, press the RIGHT Softkey.
From the context menu that pops up, tap "Edit Quick Links". From here, you can add more shortcuts, or remove shortcuts already there. To remove already placed shortcuts, just tap on them. You'll notice a small "X" that appears on top of the icons you tapped on. Once you click 'Done' the links you tapped on, with the X on them, will no longer be visible.

[Q] T95Q Android 8.1.0 enter key not working correctly

The enter key sends the currently selected character on the virtual keyboard instead of enter. I notice /system/usr/keylayout/Generic.kl already contains "key 28 ENTER" which is the normal fix I see for this issue. What could be wrong? It's still acting like DPAD_CENTER.
and restart
do the same for the file in
vendo/usr/keyboard
don't forget to restart after you have changed both files!
go to settings for this to change the behavior of the power button.
use the setings below and not the one above on the tile. this gives another access to the settings

Settings icon deleted

I have accidentally deleted the settings icon on my screen (I swiped up too hard and fast and deleted it instead of opening it)
How can I navigate to settings without the icon?
How can I restore the icon?
I'm able to access the settings on my device but swiping down on the notification area and selecting the settings icon.
I didn't know it was possible to delete the icon from the app drawer...
Of course!!!!
D'oh!
Now that I have found settings again (thank you thank you) I'll go about recovering the icon to the "desktop"
Arrggh!
I can't restore the shortcut to the "desktop" and because it's still a new-to-me phone, I like to have it there.
It is in the list of widgets, but when I try and swipe it to the desktop nothing happens!
IMO the easiest way to recover lost or deleted Android app icons/widgets is
1. To touch and hold on an empty space on your Home screen. This method should cause a new menu to pop up with customizable options for your device.
2. Next, select Widgets and Apps to open a new menu.
3. Tap Apps. From here, you can choose the app icon that you previously deleted by mistake.
4. Hold the icon and drag it onto a space on your device. (You can rearrange it later.)
Your app should now be exactly where you want it to be, and it’ll be ready to use right away.
