Uploading for your own purpose new rom from i-mate already modded to avoid annoying country/model id errors.
Should be started as usual in bootloader mode (or just restarting the updater when you get an error)...

does it mean that it is in italian?

I have a hunch that 1.11.00 is WWE, 1.11.04 is Italian.
On Club i-Mate, they also show the following differentiation:
1.11.00 Arab (English with Arab customization)
1.11.00 WWE (English)
1.11.00 UK (English with UK Operators)
1.11.02 French
1.11.04 Italian
My educated guess is that French and Italian are full language versions, hence the different digits, whereas the others are English with individual customizations.

so is there anything extra in it than the qtek 1.11 ??????????
the language will remain italian or can it be changed to english once i install ???
i am currently using the qtek 1.11 rom on my mini

it's a FULL ITALIAN rom/extrom upgrade, no english here.

My Imate ROM Upgrade page is Spanish !!

Hi I brought my Jam from Live Telecom and my Upgrade page is in Spanish. I emailed Imate and they said its because my machine is Spanish .. Will this effect future upgrades for my Machine as it has come with a WW English Rom on it ?

What is the meaning of "upgrade page"?
If your ROM is WWE then it's all you need. There is not such a thing as a "Spanish" machine, there are Spanish ROMs, as they are german, greek or anything else, is the ROM what defines the "country" ID of the machine.
If while upgrading your ROM you see the instructions in spanish, then you are upgrading to a spanish ROM. ¡Enhorabuena!

On the Club Imate Support page for my device . When I go to the ROM page its in Spanish and the only upgrade available is Amena ( Spanish ). The whole language is Spanish but my machine is running WWE .
Have left this one with Imate as its up to them to marry my IMEA number with the correct country for my device but thanks for the reply.

I got it now.
It's just an I-mate issue, you should get the support in english. But I guess you are still able to download an implement any ROM you like, no matter the language you choose.

Current i-mate Spanish ROM is 1.06

:lol: Emailed Imate several times and they can't work out why my UK EMEI number brings up the Spanish page . I only have access to this ROM ( Spanish) . They continue to work on the problem.
In the meantime though thanks to you guys I have a varied amount of ROM's for my use on the FTP

I don't think u will need club imate for a while,i noticed ur current version is 1.12.00...it's the latest...plus if there's a newer one,u'll find it in xda-developers,(all my respect to club i-mate,but they r not the best developers site in the world :wink....

The latest is ver 1.13 which can be found in the Dutch website or on T-mobile's. The ROM image in the Dutch site is in English but the customization in the Extended ROM is in Dutch. I'm using the one from the Dutch site without any problems

The radio version of this ROM is 1.12! There is a separate radio version 1.13 available (on the ftp site?). I'm using it and I'm reasonably satisfied with it.

a quick very quick question then I'll used the search button

if I update my italian qtek s100 with the last WWE ROM...than Il can change it to italian and avoid the COuntry error and keep using the last WWE rom in my language..RIGHT?

Definitely it's possible to install ROMs to any language as long as their available. I think you didn't understand my answer.
Your very first post states that you want to install a WWE but to avoid getting the Country error problem you want to switch to Italian WHILE doing the upgrade - this is not possible. The only way to avoid the Country Error problem is to use the MaUpgradeUT_noID.exe
I think it's possible to have WWE but with an Italian Ext ROM thus making it look like it's a full Italian ROM. This is similar to the T-mobile NL ROM, the main OS is in English but the Ext ROM is Dutch.

Changing the language to spanish,roms are missing

Hi there,I heard some people changing the language to another one using the roms from qtek and having problems,basically I have the MDA Compact(S100) from T-Mobile UK in english and I would like change the language to spanish.
ROM Version : 1.13.00 WWE
ROM Date : 08/18/05
Radio Version: 1.13.00
Protocol Version: 1337.43
I can't find anywhere a spanish rom for the pda :S if someone can tell me where to find it or what to do would be great.
In the case I found a rom in spanish will I need to do CID unlock and that things like the other pdas?
