i want to get some t-mobile apps on my ion rom the fav-five and the built in im app how do i transport these over. i have the my touch 3g rom but it doesnt fully work on my google ion so im stuck. can someone please help me out with this getting these over to my ion
It has been mentioned before about my faves untill we can get the odex files off it I believe was mentioned that it will not be possible. if you have the true mytouch rom it should have that in already. The version i tried had it in.

ive been searching for an untouch rooted google ion rom but only seem to find roms with a pinch of hero. has anyone released a clean rooted ion rom for the magic 32b?
here u go untouched and rooted ion rom http://andblogs.net/downloads/update-testkeys-CRB43-full-v1.2.zip
thank you so much ive been looking everywhere.
Is it English only or multi-language?
english only.
Is there a nice Dev that has ported this over for us 32B handset users?
I am new to the whole rom flashing thing, and have been hesitant to root and flash my phone with the existing sense roms because I don't want to lose functionality and/or make my phone any more lagtastic than it already is.
The official HTC 1.5 Sense rom seems to be right up my alley.. And with a Dev porting it (perhaps with some of their slick optimization settings) that should make for one awesome rom to flash.
If anyone has some info, that would be awesome.
Thanks!
I second this. Show some love to your 32B counterparts.
this was asked yesterday
and it's been said countless times but the Dream forum is the place to go for 32B ROMs. You'll find that 32B gets more love than 32A does, actually

That's wrong, unfortunately. SenseUI needs more RAM than your phone has and will always make 32B devices lag. The G1 Devs have managed to get it to a usable state using Swap and tweaks but from what I know it's still that... laggy.
Has anyone tried to use the new Kernel from Rogers Rom , to make roms wich need to be ported work on NEw radio? Thanks
well from looking at it, no one else has been releasing anythign since 2.1 came out but klothius and i, so hmmmmm.......
Sorry i didnt explain myself. For instance, we have now a new HTC kernel. Can this be used to port Cyanogenmod rom ? I would like to see how it worked with the nwe HTC drivers
not sure it would go well, cause if you take a kernel from cyanogen and put in sense, not everythign will work, might not even start, so going the other way from sense to aosp i don't think but who knows, or you could try out new .34 kernel we released in froyorider today
Guys I'm a newbie in this forum so please guide me which rom is better.........dexter's froyo or that one of khalpowers.
I'm totally confused. And if someone could tell me that if I install one of these roms
will the installed apps and other data like contacts or stuff will remain or be removed.
Please also state the disadvantage of these roms as compared to the stock 2.1
For russian speaking users i recommend RusMod.
For everyone else - use Khalpowers mods with mine kernel from fastboot.
Or Dexter's 1.3 with Mioze7ae patch.

they all good for me ,just have to choose which one suits you ,Dexters is the original Froyo and others is optimization based on the Dexter's rom..if you like the Original one ..choose Dexter..or elase..you can try others
i think you should try the Froyo of Khalpowers ,it's base on Dexters and xavwanted's and it's the latest froyo till now..many user discuss about the khalpowers and you can get more help in the froum.
"if I install one of these roms

yes ..coz after you finished installation of Froyo ..you need to wipe everything ..so eveything on your phone Memory will gone..(everything in SD card ..Photo,vdo,songs..etc..is fine)

1. you can use flash in your web browser watch youtube in webpages..(performance not good lag.. due to the CPU ti 3440 and ram 256..)
2.you can move your apps to your sd and you can play bigger games with large data
3. you can use many apps that require running on OS 2.2
4. you can use 3.5mm TV out...
i might be wrong in some point....so it's just my experience
Thanks for replying guys!
please could you explain me what does fastboot patch does and is it neccessary.
Also for enabling apps to sd in khalpowers rom do i have to do something else apart from creating a partition?
And how can i use hdmi cable to play games on tv with this rom??
help?
Guys one more thing
if i want to return to stock 2.1 I saw the video made by reveren the stock 2.1 file is of cincinati bell so would this create any network problems as i am not using cicncinati bell.
I know this must be a stupid question but please do answer!
How to use the 3.5 mm to mirror my phone on the tv....which wire is required?
Sent from my XT720 using XDA App
Apologies if this has already been covered, search is currently offline/disabled, so I could only search XDA using Google and didn't find anything.
I'm running the stock Jelly Bean ROM (4.1.2) DeODEX'd with a few little tweaks, nothing big.
I was checking out the Xposed Framework project ( read here ) and wondering if anyone knows if it's compatible with the stock'ish Photon Q 4G ROM?
If someone is able to confirm/deny it would save the time of backing up, flashing/installing, then having to restore back if it isn't.
Thanks in advance.:good:
I haven't tried it myself, but it should work on any device.
Just be sure you take that backup so you can restore...

Looks like it in all likelihood works fine, so I'll probably give it a shot this evening after work.
As an update, the framework installs fine, no issues at all. Some of the modules available work, some are exclusive to HTC or Samsung devices, so unfortunately those are a no go.
