Hi, i am very sorry if i am cluttering the place with things that have already been done. but i am in desperate need of some help:
I was changing my radio to this one:
1.65.21.18
my rom was by Shiffu, i got it yesterday.
while updating the radio it got to 99%, stopped and said there was a problem, and asked me to run the recovery, but when i ran the recovery it got to the same point and stopped again (kept cycling like that).
everytime i booted, it got to the red white blue screen.
so i decided to put the original WM6.1 ATT rom back on, it completed successfully, but it just stayed on the red white blue screen.
plz help
i am really stuck and very desperate.
Did try flash using SD card? Look into Wiki for more info on that. If you can put in bootloader, your phone is probably just fine. Try SD Card flashing.
i mean it is stuck in bootloader, i cant do anything.
to any mods/senior members i have offended by wasting their time with ma retarded mattes, I AM SORRY.
i flashed the radio i had on there @ first and it works perfectly again.
and to ai6098 thank you for your help, i really appreciate it.
Mods, you can close/delete this thread now. i am never flashing again.

ok guys, i don't know alot about HTC, i don't know that i can do more until i saw my friend's HTC. ok, i have keisar (8900 series), what i want do is:
"download the dual touch".
How can i go that? i saw the thread, and everytime i tried to download it , i would bring me to website (i don't know what).
please give me the link and things that i need to do or click.
by the way i have downloaded the hard-spl, something like that. thank you
steven
Try one of Duttys Rom... V3 or V4b(which should be out today)..
http://www.cinetsystems.com/xda/TouchFlo/
Avoid V4 32mb version and read the Wiki at hte bottom of my post
Make sure you install the hard-spl as well - just downloading it isn't enough .
Have a look at this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=356895
Read up as much as you can before flashing so that you're sure you know what you're doing. It'll be more worthwhile than just flashing blind and then doing a lot of reading on how to fix your phone.

any body, i have a question again....
if you read this collinssc, you might be able to help me.it seems that people ignore regular questions. i think they are tired of answering questions. i feel it.
question:
i have downloaded dutty's Rom, but teh problem is:
when i want to type "@" it becomes "!", and "=" becomes "*".
can anybody tell me what is the problem with this? it seems that everything is switched around....
thank you for everybody's help
njhtc
You need to disable the XT9 functionality. There is a CAB around here somewhere for it.

the reason everyone is tired of answering this question is because there is a search feature.
Here is the cab to install to disable the XT9.

Serious Problem.. PLEASE HELP!
so heres the story...
ive been flashing roms onto my tilt for about a month now... modding it and all that good stuff.. but i made a stupid rookie mistake..
so i was in a rush earlier today to get to work and i wanted to try phoenixs new rom... thinkin i covered all the bases...
i left the sim card in my phone when i flash his rom...
now my phone wont read my sim card... it still works and all..
but it just wont read the card and i cant connect to att..
i have another att phone wich i put my sim in.. and it works perfectly.
its just the tilt wont read it at all..
so do i have a shinny new building block? or is there a file or steps i could just install to fix..
i tried flashing differnet roms.. tried doing the cid/sim unlocker, tried searching..
but nothing..
please.. any help or answers would be greatly appreciated..
WHAT DO I DO???
Thank you..

Which ROM? I wasn't aware we had a chef named Phoenix.
I handle PR for a ROM called Phoenix, and this question should be in that thread IF you think it's a problem with that ROM specifically.
aka READ JIMMY'S RULES AT THE TOP OF THE FORUM.
that being said. I flash with the SIM in all the time, so I'm not exactly sure what you have done to your device.
Try a different Radio ROM, not a full ROM, a RADIO ROM.

Kinda makes me think he got it sorted? Yeah you spot on Burns should be in the correct thread
Either that or he's going to seek advice in the actual proper thread.
Now, the guessing game, either Dave or Kareem, I don't see Jimmy or NATF around too horrbily much anymore, though they're still here... hmmm...
Speaking of mods, you know who i haven't seen in a while? ATW.
Hmm...
I flash every new rom made and I have never taken out my sim card when i flash a rom. You need to post your question in the thread that you got the rom from.

We'd have seen him in the real thread, maybe a a miracle happened and it just started working, we all know phones have a mind of there own
See you been pimpin ya ROM out
I just handle the PR, MBV did a lot of the base work, Parley made it work and has been working on it since.
I agree with asfoor (below, I don't feel like putting another post in this thread)
Mods ...please close this thread... Thank you...

Yes -- he should ask me...in the right thread. I too never take my sim card out...ever. I flash 10 or 15 times a day when cooking.

Done and Done.
Agreed Please post this question in the Proper ROM Thread.
And DO read my announcement at the top of the forum.
I installed the update, and the radio update. No problems. When I put the theme back on. The phone won't get past the Tmobile G1 screen to finish booting up. Please help.
That would be because the themes need to be recoded for RC33.
how many times do you have to ask the same thing?? it was answered already .....

Hey everyone,I have a Verizon m8 and am rooted with s off. I was wondering if there is anyway to unroot and turn soff back on.... I would really liketo get this phone back to the way it came fresh out of the box.. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone.
Also, I am running viperrom if that matters at all.

Read through here...read carefully what versions you are on, if you remove s-off now and the 4.4.3 update comes out you may not be able to s-off again.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2745257
Based on your other post I really wouldn't worry about it. If I were a bit nervous like you, I would flash a rooted stock rom, which you should be able to find in the threads as well.
Couple quick notes since you sound a bit new, I would edit/remove (you can't delete a post so just edit the entire post to say removed because wrong thread) that request in the Viper thread, someone will probably flame you for asking in there. Lastly, seems like you are getting some help so good luck and keep reading and asking, the Thanks button under peoples names is always appreciated, I know I appreciate it .
