Possible to make recovery with Nandroid restore capability? - myTouch 3G, Magic Android Development

Is there anyone that can make this kind of recovery image? Have seen it for the G1 so I am hoping for some luck here. Would be nice if someone could make it for both G and H phones.

i posted similar question in Amon_RA's recovery thread. this would be great.

[Q] HERO H3000+ ROm Bakcup [MTK6577]

Hello, I have recently bought an Hero H3000+ on android-sale.com but it borke few days ago and the customer support is not helping. The problem is that the ROM does not boot anymore. So I tryed flashing an other one, a Tawain101 ROM for H2000+ but the touch screen dos not work.
SO I'm looking for a great soul to help me, I have found a way to flash and install ClockworkMod recovery on the phone with no failure so I can backup & restore the ROM but I need a backup which I don't have.
Or the other way is to make a NanDroid Backup from a rooted H3000+ that somone here on the forum might be able to do.
I can explain how to securely root the phone or flash the CWM Mod and help me out.
Just let me know if you are willing to help me, it would be a great christmass gift.

[Q] Got a question about recovery images

Good day to everyone here on XDA. I'm a Noob and I need your help.
My question is about recovery images.
Can you build your own recovery?
I came up with this question because of my problem on my phone. I messed up with my phone's recovery and i dont know how to fix it.
My phone is a Cherry Mobile Click W120. Hardware MT6575. My problem started when I tried to flash a Universal CWMR to it and unfortunately, I failed. Now, it doesnt have a recovery mode anymore. Searched about a million times for a solution, flashed hundreds of recoveries via mobileuncle(cwmr, twrp, amon ra, even stock ones) but still no luck.
So, is there any way to build your own recovery? Or do we have a recovery image out there which is compatible to this device?
I hope someone will respond to a noob like me. But still, im hoping someone can help me.
I will appreciate any kind of reply. Either negative or positive. Another question, is it possible to ask someone for the recovery image who also uses the same unit that i'm using? then flash it on my phone?
I'm no expert but I'll try to explain it to you.
1st question: yes, you can, since all custom recovery images are made from source, you can find out more here: http://xda-university.com/as-a-developer/porting-clockworkmod-recovery-to-a-new-device
2nd question: you can find a custom recovery image for popular devices, but you won't find it for every android device out there.
3rd question: he must have the image, if it's already flashed into the phone, I don't think that it can be extracted. you can also flash the stock recovery image if you find it. I can't help you there tho.
Now, I did some searches on the forum and google but I didn't find any CWM recovery image for your mobile phone..
Hit thanks button if this helps you in any way. Cheers !

[Request] CWM Recovery for SM-G386F

Hello,
does anybody have the possibility to compile CWM Recovery for our Phones (Galaxy Core LTE SM-G386F)?
I do not exactly now what is neccessary but I can serve with any dumps of the original firmware or partition table.
It is a pain in the axx not having the possibility to restore a nandroid backup or at least creating a full flashable Odin image.
Thank you very much in advance
It's been a year since You started this topic but chance are You still interested and also this topic is one of the first in google when looking for recovery for G386F.
So here it is:

Thank you, actually this is still of great interest for me as these are my parent's phones which I need to maintain and it is time now to do a proper software overhaul because of lagging etc.
Cheers

Please help, if you can. Need a copy of stock rom to flash.

Sorry if there's somewhere this is already posted, but I can't seem to find a stock rom of 6045 model anywhere on the site (or at least one that I can flash through twrp). If anyone can provide a copy of their stock rom a one, that would be greatly appreciated.
I derped my rom and not I can't the the incoming interface when someone is calling.... and I can't make phone calls cause I somehow deleted that app.

Easiest solution is to use the Mobile Q software to reset your phone to factory condition. Start here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/idol-3/general/idol-3-mobile-upgrade-app-download-t3182517
Failing that if you just have to have a twrp backup.....

Questions to the appropriate thread.
Thank you so much for the help man. I tried the first link you pointed out but I had issues getting it to work. Now with the second link I saw this before was unsure about the links. Are they actually zip version of the rom I can just flash or do I have to turn then into a zip? Not really sure what to with it, lol. Thanks a again for all your help. I really appreciate it.

The instructions in the first couple of posts explain everything you are asking. If you search, I'm sure someone has also written step by step to getting the Mobile Q software working.

Has anyone actually found or created any custom roms for the Lgl34c or am I going to have to make one myself? That's so much work. Are there any guides that can help me with extracting and editing the stock version of my current Rom? (I use linux) [Linux mint 17.2]
Looking for stock lgl34c(LG Fuel Tracfone) recovery image
Does anyone know where I can find a stock backup images for this phone. or would be willing to create a recovery image from there device. My phone will only boot strait into recovery. I have searched everywhere and hoping someone here will be able to help . Thank you in advance.
