so i know how to properly upgrade to a 6.1 rom
but when i upgrade to a 6.5 rom do i
flash to a Offical Rom then back to the 6.1 rom and then do i finaly flash the 6.5 rom?
OR
can i just flash the 6.5 directly?

cause in the tituriol for 6.1 it said ITS ALWAYS BETTER TO HAVE A CLEAM ROM BEFORE FLASHING

If I currently have WM6.0 Professional on my Tilt 8900, do I need to install WM6.1 prior to flashing my ROM (leaning toward Dutty's 6.1 ROM) or does the ROM take care of that? If I need to change the OS, where can I get WM6.1?

No, since you're planning to flash to Dutty's 6.1 rom. 6.1 is on the rom so when you flash, it will change to 6.1.

You do nothing if your Kaiser was HardSPL...just run the ROM File to upgrade your Kaiser with any Kaiser's ROMs.

no... my kaiser has not installed the hardspl.... and i probbaly not doing it for now.... thats y i want to know if I can flash the "official" English 6.1 rom onto it to replace my chinese version 6.0 rom....

You can not find any of those... . As uni was released in 2005 with wm5 as the original rom... So you can only find a original ( stock or untouched) wm5 rom only... wm6, wm6.1 and wm6.5 were ported to work with uni so there is no such thing like stock or untouched or original wm 6.X for UNI...

to anyone who wanna update the rom of htc touch cruise.
htc touch cruise original rom 6.0 professional
and if you wanna update the rom to 6.1 from official you can not upgrade with wm6.5 because wm6.5 is build from rom version 2.XX and wm6.1 official build from rom version 3.XXX.
if you wanna update to wm 6.5 you must downgrade your rom to wm 6.1 or find the rom that have version build 3.XX.
