Help!
I did a STUPID mistake.I did not read the instructions and installed
a complete max theme on my Touch diamond 2.
I se now that i should not done that.
Now when i turn on my phone,i cant access anything.All is freezing,but if i am fast at the startup i can turn of TF3D.
But i can`t find out where to delete the theme???
I tried file-explorer but under "remove programs" it`s nothing...
And i did delete a file under windows-max--- but that did not help..
Where is it?
Is a hard reset my only choise??
EDIT: Nevermind.Manilacustomizer did the trick

hope you can help me here cause my beloved german forum is dying out..
After a hard reset i was able to restore all my programs and settings quite fast (got used to it cause hard reset solved many recent problems *g*).
But suddenly neither the original file browser nor Smart Explorer can execute cab installation file.
The only changes i made might be some settings with the OS RegTweaker or AmpTweaks but cant find any that would explain it.
Anyone know the Regitry setting that might prevent user from executing cab files so i can undo this limitation?

Have you installed Documents to go app??
Because i faced the same problem when i installed the app. I dint find any way to reverse it. You would need to hard reset it again. or you will have to install apps from activesync
Hi guys, i've tried searching for the fix before posting but i was unsuccessful. i installed dutty's rom on my att tilt now i cant use my keyboard wen texting because of the xt9 and other keys not being mapped correctly. ive tried to mess with the xt9 settings and the word completion settings but nothing seems to fix it. when i type a text the predictive text pops up and i have to push over on the directional pad to move the curser over then continue typing. also some of the alternate characters dont match up to the keyboard. is there any way to fix it? thanx in advance..

1. extract the folder .\disable_xT9\
2. connect device to PC
3. execute .\disable_xT9\start.bat
4. reset your device by pressing the off button for 5 sec

hello, i am trying to delete FTouchFlo from my startup folder and i get the "cannot delete 'FTouchFlo' there has been a sharing violation. The source or destination file may be in use." error. why is this? i want to delete it because it is causing me certain problems. thank you to anyone who can help me with this problem.
that's because those files are in the ROM.

I dident download a ROM though, I downloaded the touch-commander cab and got tired of all the stupid messages I would get due to it being the trial version, and UNinstalled it, but the FTouchFlo is still stuck in my startup folder. and because of it, the original FTouchFlo will not work. please don't tell me I gotta do a hard reset to get rid of if!!!????

Having you tried browsing your device with your PC and delete from there...also use something like phm task to see if there are any hidden tasks running related to it..also ensure your registry is cleared of it....If I were you I would make a HR my last resort....thats my 2 cents worth. GOOD LUCK.

i got it fixed today. this was a lil wierd. i had touch-commander installed(trail versiom) and when i unintalled it, the FTouchFlo file was stuck in the startup file. and it would not delete. all i did in case anybody else ever runs into this problem, i intalled the original htc cube and then uninstalled it and bingo, i was able to delete it outta there.
I installed 'Fixed-Swype-HTCBlackBird-3.9.10.10.5032.cab' on my HTC HD2 today and the phone then went straight to the main restart screen requesting me to enter the keyboard password to get access to the phone but I am now unable to.
I have tried 'Hard Resetting' the device as below but cannot get the message to display for the reset.
Can someone please advise if there is a new sequence of no's to enter onto the start up keypad or an altertive way to Hard Reset while the phone is powered off.
I believe that the Swype keyboard may have conflicted the orignal keyboard hence screwing up any entries.
Kindly awaiting responses.

Hard Reset : steps tried :
With the phone turned off, press and hold the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons, then press the END/POWER button shortly and release it. You will then see this message on the screen.
2. Release the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
3. Press the VOLUME UP button to perform the hard reset, or press any other button to cancel the reset.

try connect to PC via AS after that delete from hd2 autostart some swype shortcuts (if there exst)
i can´t change to AS.
i see only my sd-card
HELP To Install Swype
Hey Guyz.. I'm sorry I'm a complete alien to this community. I wanted to install swype and i downloaded a cab posted on Xda Developers. Version 3.9 i guess. The downloaded file is a win rar file containing numerous files in the folder. I dont know now how to install it to my HTC HD2.. I copy pasted it to My SD card and then tried to hunt for a set up file that would install but no luck.. Please tell me how do i install. Sorry for my ignorance

do not unrar the cab file. copy and paste in ur sd card folder and run it from there
This is a known problem and all the more reason it should not be distributed outside of the ROM's it was meant for. Installing the cab changes your device ID to TMOUS instead of LEO.

Problem fixed...hard reset the phone then everything is good,learn my lesson already,b4 trying any new apps backup your phone first !!!
i have installed latest version on c0kie home tab with CHT .
every thing is working perfect , but i dont know how to change the appearance of that i mean themes can someone help please that how to change the look of mobile thanks alot ................

Look through this section for the theme you want to install and follow the instructions in the thread........
If its a particular theme your having a problem with then whoever made it will usually be more than happy to help you sort the problem.
Most themes will be provided as cab files which you should place on your device and installed (by clicking on them) from there.
Always install themes and mods to your device memory and not your sd card.

i didnt get u i have try to installed many themes.cab files but nothing happend main screen is same lock screen is same nothing happend please help step by step or give me some links to ... thanks in advance

I don't know what you are looking for, but there are lot of skins here present (in cab files)
Just download the cab's, place the cab file to your sd, navigate with your device to your map on your SD where you have store your cab files, press on the cab to install, and select internal memory as installation path. follow by a soft reset, and all will works fine.
Perhaps if you could let us know what you have tried to install and how you did it then we can figure out why its not working.

hi i have Omega Rom nd then i have installed Co0kie HomeTab latest with CHT latest
nd then now im trying to install .cab themes but the problem is just clock and some options changes but main affect is same like lock screen isnt change and background is not changed whats the prob thanks in advance
nd one more thing when i install .cab file its not asking me that where to save it in sd card or where its installing automatically as u said install it in phone memory but its not possible becuase its installing auto i dont know where
ok first of all the wallpaper you l will need to change by yourself,
go to the cht menu and select set wallpaper.
make sure you have the cht lockscreen enabled by installing cht editor and enabling it using that.
if the cab is automatically installing then thats because the creator has set it to install to device so don't worry.
some themes come in separate cabs for clocks and other things so maybe you could post the cabs here and ill have a look at what they are meant to be changing.
try asking in the theme thread for help because if its an issue with the theme then someone else has probably had the problem before.

BE CAREFUL...
Before you enable CHT lockscreen... BE SURE you DO NOT have a PIN CODE enabled to unlock your phone....becuase you could be forced to do a Hard Reset.
I recomend you that you read very carefuly the CoOkie Home Tab thread to have clear how it works.
Then, as our friends said, you must ask for help in the thread of the theme you would like to install for specific instructions.
