Sorry for not providing an answer, I am just curious for the posibility of this since thise could be very useful for me as well.
This is an incredibly annoying MS feature.
+1 for this... after using XDAndroid on my fuze, i fell in love with the top bar notifications. if someone could make this possible on WM i would be greatful. the large pop up is annoying.

Ive been looking for a small application/script for a while now but cant seem to find one.
What im looking for is a Motorola style vibrate script, to notify me of new SMS/MMS and Missed Calls. I have a HTCS710 and have been using Windows Mobile 6.1 v1.1 by Dr. Gonzo for a long time now and have found the function invaluable.
Does anybody know if this is possible of the Polaris and how it would be ported or made to work on the Polaris?

I was wondering whether someone has managed to port the windows mobile 6.5 lockscreen to windows mobile 6.1? Some skin for s2u2 would be fine too, Don't want my phone to look like an iphone :s Have tried many other lock applications. Like Pocketshield and Throttlelock but no succes.

WM6.5 lock
The beta 3 version of PocketShield works in a very similar way to WM6.5 lock screen, as you can tap a notification and then unlock to go straight to the associated application. Even better you can get preview detail info of the notification by just tapping over it, without having to unlock.

I need a tool to enlarge my small QVGA Homescreen Display
so that i can use for example the Iphone Today Plugin in FULLSCREEN.
I want to remove the taskbar at the bottom and the startbar.
BUT ONLY AT THE HOMESCREEN IF POSSIBLE because some programs
need this bars!
Mydevice is a windows mobile 6.1 Smartphone.
Now i have searched and tested about 1 hour! Yes That´s really true!
Perhaps I´m to silly to find a good tool but the most tools don´t
work on my phone!!!
I have tested VJToggle Today and dcinobar...
They doesn´t work correctly because they only clear the TEXT
at the taskbar at bottom but doesn´t hide them so i can´t use this
place.
Please help me or I´m going to rail about my mobile phone!

The plugin is the "Iphone Today Home Plugin" but thats not the
reason for this mistake because all HomePlugins have this problem!

I got flash my phone but it is a big problem with new 6.5 LS (with slider menu).
I download LS for 6.5. I can't send link, sorry.
it is look cool but here is the problem: when somebody calling me i can't anwser or refuse, i don't see who is calling me. I have only signal and vibrate.
Please help. I need normal 6.5 LS with slider.

Hi,
Same probleme for me on my Diamond, try to scroll Up -to-> Down (even if there is no scroll, top of the screen to down) and after you could scroll left -to-> right to answer or refuse... it works for me.
I don't know why but sometimes the direct scroll (left->right) works but often you need to scroll Up->Down before.
