Smartphone - WM 6.5 Build 21812 - Lang[0409] DPI[131] RESH[320] RESV[240] DUMP
This is a full SYS and xip.bin, from build 21812
You may need to recmod some modules from this SYS in order to obtain a booting ROM, if you do not have a native WM 6.5 nk.exe...
Enjoy!

Apache WM6.1 Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19716 (Build 19716.1.0.0) - UPDATED 20080308

Check it out ...WM 6.1 For Apache ..thank you HELMI..u re great..waiting for the TYTN II
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?p=207145#post207145
upgrade my apache to 6.1
its so hard to use kitchen, please upload a full or standar exe file than i can upgrade my apache.. please thanks
where is can i get the rom to install wm6.1
i have been looking around for the rom since i knew there was one i still looking

Where does one get a clean os for kitchen?

Im looking for a clean os, preferably CE 5.2.19400 (Build 19199.1.0.0).
I want to have a clean base OS to start adding my fixes, applications and tools. I have tried to disect many of the "vanilla" versions from people, but even their clean versions still include a lot of garbage I dont want and is almost impossible to clean. I would rather start from a totally clean os and build up from there.
Thanks,
jay
I would also like to know this.
further, how can one be sure that a 'clean' os (or any freely downloadable rom for that matter) is free from software that snoops on you, etc?
Here is the 19400 dump

I wonder, is a Hermes dump usable to cook a Wizard ROM?
And you mention, "CE 5.2.19400 (Build 19199.1.0.0).". Is that newer or older than the custom ROMS that are advertised as WM 6.1 build 19209? I mean, does that mean CE 5.2.19209 build xxxxxx or CE 5.2.xxxxx build 19209?
Cheers!
CE 5.2.19400 (Build 19199.1.0.0) means OS from new build, XIP from old build.
However there are some fake ROMs that with modified OS version, this may be the case (Because official 19209 ROM is AKU 1.0.2, how come this ROM is still AKU1.0.0?)
ROMs for other devices can be used in Wizard after porting (at least OS(SYS+OEM) porting must be done). You may use XIP from other Wizard ROMs, but will show your old XIP build in the About screen.
Thanks for the explanation, it's clear now

WM 6.0 with latest XIP

Hey guys,
Is it possible to integrate XIP 20279 into WM 6.0 Vox ROM? Will this work?
Yeah, it works
you will get a more faster file list speed.

[Q] Does anyone have the native wm6.5 nk.exe for P4350?

Does anyone have the native wm6.5 nk.exe for P4350?
The 6.5 nk is very unstable when using it with the Wing/Herald; the 6.5 nk doesn't load for me at all.
Being that our devices were meant to only use 6.1, I cook with the 6.1 nk with my 6.5.5 ROMs.
But that also doesn't make it a 6.1 ROM, however. As long as you're using 6.5.5 builds.

Thank you for your answer and sorry for my English.
I wonder if the 6.5 unstale nk you used was extracted from the OMAP850 devices.
I think it is normal to be unstable with the 6.5 nk from non-OMAP850 devices.
Do all the new features fully supported with 6.1 nk in 6.5.5 builds? Or is it stable?
Actually, there has never been a 6.5 nk made with our devices.
But rest assured, my ROMs are all tested and stable; I use all my ROMS. I am actually using my iTrib SD ROM right now.

I googled the whole web, and couldn't find a 6.5 native kernel for omap850-based devices.
But I have done a research on how to create a nk.exe for wm6.5.
an aku , the wince source and the hardware BSP is necessary.
Luckily, with the efforts, I have found the BSP for OMAP850's chip.
Unluckily, i don't have the aku and wince5.2 source and don't know how to build a os with them.
Did you have any ideas?
BTW, Were Herald meant to use wm6.0 or wm6.1.
I couldn't find a official wm6.1 rom for herald but a wm6.0 rom build 18128 in advance from T-Mobile.
In addition, Does your nk.exe come from wm6.1 roms?
Or Does the nk.exe support the wm6.1 new virtual memory feature that is files(not modules,we know in wm6.5 there are modules and files) can access to the slot 60 and slot 61.
here is about new virtual memory in windows mobile(6.0/6.1/6.5):http://hi.baidu.com/donghaozheng/blog/item/1a0f37db4798196ed1164e56.html
Sorry for my bad english..

Looking for WinMo 6.1 STANDARD OS/Build

Hello,
Can some one point me to OS/BUILD of WinMo 6.1 STANDARD which I can use to cook for my T-Mob Shadow 2007?
Or any Stock ROM of any device that uses WinMo 6.1 STANDARD so that I can dump the OS and use for cooking .
Note: I am not looking for a ROM here.
Thanks.
Hi!
Just have a look at Microsoft:
microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=3d6f581e-c093-4b15-ab0c-a2ce5bffdb47
You have to use imgtodump V2.0 (not the latest) to dump the binary file.
