where can i found wm6 frensh rom for my QTEK 9000?
please help me!!!

if is rom french that you search use an english rom install realvga and pack french run real vga and select french.

puis j'ai fais ce qu'a dit ted dans un autre post :

La rom est traduite en français et le wifi marche impec, elle est beaucoup plus rapide que celle de Fla242 (respect tout de meme). Juste a réinstaller Voice command 1.6 en fr et tout marche.

Windows Mobile 6.1 - ROM officielle en Français ?

voici plusieurs mois que je cherches désespérément une maj pour le S710 vers wm6.1.
Quelqu'un at'il des infos concernant HTC ? Vont ils (enfin) distribuer une nouvelle ROM ?

No, it's a request for one. He's looking for an non-cooked WM6.1 ROM without extra software.
I'll dig up the link for the clean WM6.1 and post it. Just got back from mowing the lawn and I am darn sweaty even though it's a ride-along that allows me to drink beer.

did you try it under sfr ? Now my pharos is running on the original htc rom but i can't have all of my sfr services. I've have some data connection error, dunno if it's coming from me or sfr.
and what should i do with a nbh file ? is it a software file ? never see this kind of file...

Bon Boulot, je l'ai flashé et tout est ok, mais j'ai juste un petit bémol; c'est une WM 6.0, t'aurais pas une 6.1 par hasard ?
J'aimerai bien essayer d'en kooker une 6.1 avec la manilla de poldo que j'avais essayé, mais j'en ai eue assez de l'anglais.
Ou peut-on trouver les recettes de kooking, je n'ai pas dépassé le stade du dump de mon mobile...

pour le flash de la rom, utilise le jumpSPL et le HardSPL. et pour la version c'est du windows mobile 6
c'est une rom original, (avec drivers en plus par Guigou) donc le gps fonctionne, et le desimlockage n'est pas actif (tu peux le faire toi meme, ya des liens qui fonctionne sur xda, cherche un peu)
edit : je suis sous portable, je ne peux pas mettre le lien du JumpSPL et de HardSPL

Une question :
Comment tu fais pour mettre la certification orange pour le GPS, j'essaye de la trouver mais sans résultat...

First of all, i did a hard spl. After that i install the rom from guigou. Then i install TTN7 (ttn7.915.9196.vga_black) with maps of france.(France V.815.2024).
I speak french if you need more information.

Le Polaris n'a pas été mis à jour par HTC (donc de manière officielle) en version 6.5. Tu ne trouveras aucune ROM en 6.5 sur ce forum en francais.
La seule ROM que je connaisse en version 6.5 et en Français est celle d'Amenatis. Sa ROM est encore disponible sur son site à cette adresse :

Polaris has not been updated by HTC (thus officially) in version 6.5. You will not find any ROM 6.5 in french on this forum.
The only ROM that I know in version 6.5 and is of French might bring. His ROM is still available on its website at:

I'm a new cook and i want to share my work with the xda's community. This is the first version of my french rom and no radio or hardspl are included. Please read the [Resources] Flashing Your First Kaiser Rom (For Noobs) thread before flashing this rom. I recommend to flash a stock rom before my rom and after flashing, it is recommended to perform a hard reset.
i use Radio 1.70.19.09 and Hardspl 3.29 with this rom.
Native Kernel is used in this rom and it's XDA_UC ready.
XDA_UC runs automatically on second boot.
Copy your cabs, Pim backup file and XMLs to \XDA_UC on your storage card for an automatic installation or \XDA_UC\SD if you want an interactive installation (more info here).
If you find some bug or anything else about this rom, tell me in this forum.

it's a hard work to fully translate a rom, and all my kitchen is for doing a french rom. I will try to do a full rom like a manila rom and maybe a 6.5.5 branch rom.
For the moment, i don't think to do a WWE rom, they are many good cooks for WWE rom in this forum, but nothing for french rom, maybe i will change my mind in future.

oh, i change every month my mobile xD, currently im using kaiser. now i use a rom for 3months, but this is very fancy, i wanna try it. hope the manilla version will be flawless with nice, clear icons . And of course, some WWE will welcome too'
ps: i like the icons in the menu. simply great!!!

thanks for your great job, french 6.5.x roms are pretty unusual.
I have a wrong mapping on my physical keyboard (accents are not working, numerical pad is not correctly setup, ...).
Is there a workaround for this ?
A great improvement will be add HSC to configure CHOME. This is a usefull addon.

thanks for testing my rom, i think i've have release a little to fast my 23569 rom, i will work to fix the keyboard layout for the next release. And yes, i need to had more app like chome customizer, mms, acrobat reader and other stuff.
For the users who want a WWE version, it's not planned for the moment, sorry. I'm a little busy with my new job.

Paliatif pour le clavier physique
Il existe un paliatif qui permet de rétablir le fonctionnement originel du clavier coulissant : il suffit de désactiver xT9 pour que le mappage des touches refonctionne (possibilité d'utiliser le cab "duttythroy Disable xt9" par exemple).
En recherchant cette solution je suis également tombé sur le fonctionnement conjoint de Fn et Espace qui permet de générer des symboles. Pour adapter les séquences à son besoin il suffit d'éditer le fichier \windows\sym.040c.txt à sa convenance.
J'ai par exemple pu affecter le symbole € très utile à la touche & car par défaut le symbole € est affecté à la touche $ qui n'existe pas !!
Voici à présent une rom très fonctionnelle.
