NO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

could you explaine please, since it looks to have the same specs as the our touch pro's. why wouldn't it work?
Im just hoping that maybe the gps lag would be fixed with the TP2 radio.

lol yes it does , go to the rom and developement forum and look at the sticky for radios and rilphone.dll's , you'll learn anything you will ever need to know about radios THERE .

if you cant anz the question dont comment.
No, do your research before you get all pissy. the P4000 is sold in the states as the Sprint Mogul and my HTC as the Titan/P4000 We suggest you look in that forum instead of throwing attitude at people who are trying to help.

How can I check if my touch pro is unlocked for installing custom roms?

Hi all,
I'm wondering how I can check if my HTC Touch Pro is unlocked for installing custom roms. I bought it without a carrier with no simlock.
Don't know if that matters?
Hope that someone can tell me how to check this...
Thanks

If you did not buy it from a carrier, then it should be SIM unlocked, which means you can install anyone's SIM card and the device should work. NOTE - use of a SIM card implies you have a GSM-based Raphael. There are also CDMA Raphael's out there (for North American carriers) which don't use a SIM card.
In either case, if the device is unlocked, then you can go ahead and install any of the Raphael ROMS being developed in the Raphael ROM forum. Be careful, if you have a CDMA Raphael, go to the CDMA forum.
Security Unlocked is something else, and this is only required if you want to flash the RADIO from another device, such as the Blackstone or Quartz models. This, you have to get done by someone else. There is a sticky thread in the Raphael ROM forum where you can get more information.
Personally, I just stick with SIM unlock, since the Raphael-based radios are working just fine for me.
you should probably put hard spl on there just in case to be safe
Ok thanks than I am going to install a custom rom tonight.
Hope it works!
You need to flash hard spl before doing anything.
Oke, does any one know where this is explained?
So just a short explanation about what to do in what order to install custom roms etc...
Thanks a lot already!
Uh, try the noob flashing thread and the hard spl thread in the rom forum, and the flashing thread at fuzemobility.

Windows Mobile 6.5

I wanted to know if i can install 6.5 on my touch pro (verizon) and if so where do i get it?
I know the perfect guy that you can ask and he will always help.
Here he is.

6.5 hasn't been released it is due to be released Oct 6th
go to the Raphael Rom Development forum and be sure to READ the stickies of how to flash a rom. Then choose from one of the roms provided by XDA's amazing chefs!
Also i think you need to spend some time in the wiki seeing as how your asking such a basic question.

Remember you have a CDMA phone not GSM, so make sure you check out the CDMA area and make sure you flash the right hard SPL & ROMs otherwise you will brick your phone.

That "Test only, not for sale" advertise is because the customer is using the Beta HTC 6.5 Rom in is Rhodium. You can change the rom using the GoldCard method or the HardSPL one. Just search the current forum to know how to do it.

CDMA-GSM -> RHOD400, RHOD500.
Only way is using Goldcard for signed roms or wait until HardSPL cames to the CDMA Phones...
Moving to CDMA forum.
I am also closing this thread down since the original question has been answered. Until HardSPL for CDMA is released, we are tethered to official ROMs.
