Since installing arcsoft mms on my 6800, the order of the menu is annoying. When in text messaging, {Menu/New Msg/} gives me video, mms, then sms. Is there a registry setting that will let me re-order these to put the SMS at the top?
how can I get rid of that lame menu that is totally useless that opens when you slide the TP open? can we just change the icons to different programs?
great, question! i know if you upgrade to tf3d2 then it gets rid of it completely. i installed a cab (tlr-manila) that replaced my manila install with the original rom manila files, etc. that changed everything to links ie new email, new message, new task, new contact etc. Changed the icons too, but still had the screen there
I swear there is a tweak for that somewhere here. Try searching for "Diable Landscape Menu" or something like that. If I find it I will get back to you.
EDIT: Found this in the Raphael WIKI page under tweaks. You will need a program called total commander or Resco.

Right now I`m running a wm 6.5 rom (Phantom Rom`s 4-17 build I think), and I love it. Except that its using the manilla dialer. It has the new 6.5 dialer built in though with manilla running on top. I found out because when the phone is locked with the new 6.5 lock incoming calls use the new 6.5 answer ingnore sliders, and call screen.
Is there a way to unistall the manilla dialer, its cooked in there. I checked the registry to see if there was a quick enable disable in software/htc and software/windows and didn`t find anything.

I have made the setting, now i have default windows 6.5 dialer, but the call history list is displayed in white text ... as you can see from the image attached, the history is there (the progress bar on the right), but i cannot read it.
Any hints?

had tried to install the advanced config tool but can't find the call history.
I used 6.5 rom diamond default rom
Apologies for restoring the old thread, but I was wondering if any of you managed to figure this out? I have the exact same problem with a WM6.1 ROM on a Blackstone (Touch HD) with white text for the call list (identical issue to the screen shown above).
Edit: After another hour or so of searching, I've found the solution on this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=523084 - mainly post #7 gives a cab which fixes the problem
(this is for the Blackstone but might work on other devices...)
is there a way to disable windows default incoming call window.
when i use WM6.5 default lockscreen there is a clash between Window Default and HTC incoming call window.
this also causes a delay of 4sec before the phone starts ringing

Im looking for a way to disable the default sms application in my Windows Mobile 6.5. Im using Vito SMS, and when I recieve a new sms both VITO and the default app pops up. And also, it sends 2 sms'es when I send one (so I think it has to do with the both apps). So, how do I disable the default SMS app? Is it a reg key or something?
Iv'e managed to get the VITO sms-chat as default sms "handler", but still when i recieve a sms it pops up "notification" (new sms), AND in vito sms-chat. I want to disable the default sms app "new sms notification". Please help!

In 6.1 it's.
settings/personal tab/sounds and notifications/notifications tab/event drop down menu/choose Messaging: New text message
and untick display message on screen.
probably the same for 6.5. If not sorry.

Now it sends 2 smses. Ive uninstalled VITO sms-chat, but still it sends 2 smses. How can I fix that? :S
EDIT: Okay, my phone was getting real f*cked up, so I did a hard reset. Now its working again!
Did the setting for notifications work on 6.5?
And are you still using vito?
