Music in landscaped ? - Touch Diamond2, Pure Themes and Apps

Is it possible to get the music folder in 3dtochflo as landscaped, like ipod ? When you using the web browser you can choose between standing and landscaped.

Hello...
To put TouchFlow 3D in landscape (include Music tab) with sensor method, you must modify the registry !
Do that :
In : HKCU/Software/HTC/Manila
Put new STRING entry : EnableLandscape value : true
In : HKCU/Software/HTC/HTCSENSOR/Gsensor/WhiteList
Put new STRING entry : TouchFlow 3D value : Manila
In : HKCU/Software/HTC/HTCSENSOR/Gsensor/ModuleName
Put new STRING entry : TouchFlow 3D value : \windows\manila.exe
Be carefull, case sensitive !!!
Enjoy !

I´m still a newbie, please navigate me to HK.....

Where can i find the app ? link ?

Use Total commander (link : http://ghisler.fileburst.com/ce/tcmdpocketmips.cab )
It's free !
After install, go to /module and registry and you'll could modify registry entries...

You can also use the attached PHM Registry Editor which is free. Resco is a paid for application. You can do as infoman68 has shown and you can also map a key like the phone key to do the rotation when you just want a specific page rotated. Music functions ok but graphics not quite perfect which is probably why it is not a feature.
First do infoman68 tips then to map a key for rotation:-
HKLM\System\GDI\Rotation\HideOrientationUI and change the value to 0
Then in settings/personal/buttons Button 1 (Hold) Assign a program <Rotate Screen>. Button 1 is the phone button which when set you must keep pressing for the action to happen.
Alternatively you could look into one of the many rotation applications like GSen or Flip It and others out there. I've not tried them myself though.

I think if you do the trick of infoman68 you will be able to autorotate by moving the phone in TF3D and selected apps. Mapping a button is useful for the apps that do not rotate automatically. I use it for things like RSS Hub which does not auto rotate. You have to move the phone anti clockwise for the auto rotate to work.

ChangeScreen!!!!! Look it up!

So... my indications were for automatic change normal/landscape screen appears, according to the phone position...
I think, the trick of custardo01 is to force landscape mode even phone position is up using a key. It will be a great solution too... otherwise, if you do a jogging with your 500 euros favorite mp3 player, lol, and you don't force landscape mode, your phone will dance into between screen modes ...

when i rotate the screen, it flash into landscape for like 0.5sec and went back to vertical....how come?
and i cannot change the hideoientation to 0 because access is denied..

Landscade with TomTom7 (with gsensor)

Hello everybody...
I was looking for some parameters to put tomtom7 in landscape (or not) automatically with gsensor...
Perharps that can help someone...
Here are the good (and working) parameters to put in registry :
Go to HKCU/Software/HTC/HTCSENSOR/GSensor/
In : ModuleName
Create a String entry :
TomTom value : \program files\navigator\tomtom navigator.exe
(change \prgram files\navigator to your personal installation directory if needed)
In WhiteList
Create a String entry :
TomTom value : MunichWinClass (take care, case sensitive !!!)
I don't know why TomTom is called MunichWinClass !!! Everybody knows that Barcelona FC are the best, lolllll....
Do a soft reset (or turn off/on your phone) and... the most important... try it immediatly !!!
Enjoy...
Wow, I didn't think that would work. Will try it later on today. Thanks!
Work great, many thanks, mate.
works really fine - thanks!
(unfortunately this wouldn't work with iGO8 and Navigon MN7 which afaik both do not support switching between portrait and landscape while the apps are running)
Works beautifully, thanks a lot
Works GREAT, even with audiofix.
Now i have a stable device on my dashboard.

Where can I find HKCU/Software/HTC/HTCSENSOR/GSensor/ ?
try g-config
Hi guys,
have you tried the G-config app,
you can enable the auto landscape with tilt option on almost any program, just run g-config, then run the application you want to tweak.
A truly fantastic applcation, a big thanks to makeral.
Cheers,
Martin

Just a question: it only rotates to left? or I did something wrong?
Only In Landscape
Anybody know of a way to get it so it ONLY works in landscape as when I go round a corner it keeps flipping between landscape and portrait - particularly bad on roundabouts!
Also, how do you change the set angle, 90 / 270 degrees etc?

[APP] HD2 12 Button Action Screen [20.11.2009]

Based fully on ammars 12 button action screen for HD. When I installed the ammars version, I found out, that bluetooth toggle was not working and also no button was assigned after install. So I changed the "ToggleBTh.exe" inside the cab for a different version working with LEO and I also assigned the left soft key as the action button. Finally I changed the text in the picture of psshutXP to reflect the device it's used on.
As you can see, I haven't done anything big, just slight modifications, so all the credit still goes to ammar for his HD version and to metkosas as the first creator. Anyway I like this piece of soft and I thought I'd share enjoy
Original ammars post can be found HERE.
If you want to alter the function of any button, check out THIS post which contains a very good how-to.
[Update 22/11/2009]
- v 1.2
- changed cab registry modifications - now working for non-english OS
[Update 21/11/2009]
- v 1.1
- implemented suggestion from post 6 - HTC Contact Editor instead of the old MS one
[Update 20/11/2009]
- replaced "ToggleBTh.exe" used by ammar with a version compatible with LEO
- slight change in graphics od psshutXP (text mostly)
- action assigned to the left soft key
- removed the "today icon" option, as it has no use in manilla
I have uploaded two versions. The first one links the button "gps" to googlemaps. The second one is for those of you, that use iGO8.
Warning: iGO8.exe has to be installed in "\program files\iGO8\iGO8.exe"
Install HD2 12 Button Action Screen to the device not SD!
Very nice, good work!
One question: I've been looking for a simple bluetooth toggle app that works on the Leo, seems you found one, could you post that seperately?
Here you go

Dude, awesome, thanx!
I think smaberg is also working on his 12 button action screen for HD2 ^^
But nice to see this also.
Thanks!
So much more useful than a stupid phone soft key that duplicates the function of the hardware button 1cm below it.
Dupe post
If you are a passing mod, please delete this...
Detxtrosan. Thanks for updating it to work for Leo.
Can I offeer a suggestion to all users and also you to update the cab file so that the New Contact link on the Action Screen takes you to the better looking HTC Contact Editor as opposed to the Microsoft old Contact Editor. Here is the reg tweak...
HKLM\Software\HTC\Biotouch\ActionScreen\App_6
Change path to: \windows\ContactEditor.exe
Also delete text in Param field.
Thanks!
Good idea, I'll do that, thanks for the suggestion.
GPS and Shutdown is not working for me, just takes me back to homescreen.
What version did you download? As for the GPS problem, the answer could be that you downloaded an iGo8 version and you don't have iGo8 installed/installed in the right directory. As for shutdown, I'll have to look into it according to the version you downloaded.
Very good!
Would it be possible for you to include a Tomtom version?
For those, who have installed IGO in their Storage Card (or somewhere else than Program Files\IGO) ...
Go to HKLM\Software\HTC\Biotouch\ActionScreen\App_10
Change Path to the path of your IGO8.exe
SOFT RESET
And now you`re ready to go !
P.S. Thanks for the wonderful application !!!!
I downloaded "HD2_12_button_HD_action_screen_v1.1.cab" so no iGo8 version. When i press GPS or Shutdown i get the loading circles and then back to homescreen, no error or anything.
Do you have a branded version of HD2? Could you check if you have the directory psShutXP after the cab install? The action screen points to the file: \Program Files\psShutXP\psShutXP_nosc.exe
Also can you check if you have the googlemaps installed in the \program files\GoogleMaps directory? The action screen points to the file:\program files\GoogleMaps\GoogleMaps.exe

Here the same. I think it has something to do with language. My dir for shutdown isn't Program Files\psShutXP\psShutXP_nosc.exe but Programmabestanden\psShutXP\psShutXP_nosc.exe
Changed: HKLM\Software\HTC\Biotouch\ActionScreen\App_11
Change path in to my language: Programmabestanden\psShutXP\psShutXP_nosc.exe
Same for GPS/Googlemaps App_10
OK. Thanks for your info mlkenschede. I found out, that the cab registry modifications were hard coded. I changed them to reflect system folders but unfortunately I have an english device so I need you guys to check this out for me. If it works for you I'll update the first post with this version.

The thing is that there is no difference in the SMS/MMS dialogue in manilla 2.5. MMS is sent when you add an attachment. Maybe we could come up with a different action assigned to the MMS button instead on the LEO.

Hi, i've used the Cab you provided and it worked; however it has also disabled the Proximity Sensor that blanks the screen when its next to your face, leaving it open to mulitple touches!
Is there any way to re-enable the sensor (or if that's too difficult) to restore the Phone function to its original state?!
don't use cabs for reg edits.. they really are a waste and you can't change the regkey back by uninstalling it
download and install CeRegEditor onto your PC
http://ceregeditor.mdsoft.pl/
connect your HD2 through activesync/msdc
run ceregeditor..
get to know the windows registry the easy way
if you go to tools/auto "jump to" when ever you highlight a reg key and copy it, ceregeditor will open that key..
so easy and efficient !
Thanks, I'll Try the App and see what's been done
Worked! Re-enabled the Slide to uncover Property, and that re-engages the Proximity Sensor!
Thanks Fard
So...how to disable that slide for more options now, so it dont effect anything else?
I just need to edit registry key from 1 to 0 or...?
This is now an option in the latest version of BsB Tweaks. I can confirm it works a treat.
Kinda OT:
But is there a way to make the "End Call" button to "Screen Off"??? It's stupid having the End Call button, as accidents do happens hitting it.

Uninstalling a CAB made for a regedit does indeed go back to whatever registry settings you had earlier.

Htc Music and Photo regedit

i heard i can disable the whole sideways roation of the screen through regedit
i need to disable the album display when u tun the phone landscape because when i use an app to rotate manilla it goes off screen same with htc photos so is there a registry edit or an app i can use to disable it ? please help
First yes you can IMO. Although most ppl want it the other way around
I use PHM RegEdit (the original webpage does not load, but you can download the regedit.Mrln_ARM.cab there).
You do know that by editing the registry you violate the warranty <g>
Anyway goto this webpage;
http://pocketnow.com/wiki/HTC_Touchscreen_Registry_Edits#Homescreen
and find;
Bringing Manual Screen Rotation Back to the Touch Diamond
Here your quest begins.
Second when reading the above page my eye fell on;
'accelerometer screen orientation switching'
and IMO there is an application which shows all programs capable of turning to Portrait/Landscape mode, only I can't remember what it's called.. still searching.
BTW also take a look here;
XDA-Google-Search
Good luck
