[UPDATED 05.03.2008] NEO Home Screen for testers

Hi @ll
after I have read many questions about to install the NEO interface in another ROM as the NEO's one, i thought about in getting into this issue, therefore I extracted some files and made a cab for this nice screen.

- restart the phone

Did you tried on a Tornado...?? Did you choose install to device...???

i tryed on a Spv C600 with the platinum ROm with the instalation on the device,i tryed also on the storage card but didn`t work...

Actually may not be an OS limitation, only for Smartphones....!!!

Try it again, i've customize the compatibility with some OS

on spv c550 wm6 doesn't work, installation unsuccessful, when i install them manually, then blank screen

I'm still getting Blank Homescreen with S730. Soft keys bar and taskbar is working. nothing about NEO though.
Installation UNSuccessful here.

I'm pretty sure that the SPV C600 is the French (orange?) version of the Tornado.
I do know that it's a smartphone for sure (unless it's using WM6, and then it's a WM6 Standard device ).

Still unsuccesfull. But now on the beginning. not at the end of installation.
noticed it doesn't even ask where to put files.

Ok I just only was trying to block the install option, because the app. must be installed on the device.
I try it again...!!!

It seems there's a missing component. Any idea how to debug?

Yes, but you ask us to install and test for you. We install and.. no workee. So what else can we do for you?
How would we debug or gather more data for you?

Remote Desktop CAB, anyone got it ?

This could be a silly question but does anyone have the Remote Desktop application in a .cab that I can load on top of my current ROM ?

NRG Chome Weather 3.0 Anyone got it?

Has anyone got a copy of NRG Chome Weather 3.0 for the VOX? All of the links point to www.sendspace.com and they are now dead.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I dont know why but I have tried to install this application many times and it never worked for me. I hope someone extracts the weather application from s740 rom that worked ok for me.

Better to install featherweather2 by Showaco/lagasi in excalibur forums. I have installed and it runs excellent.

Thanks man! Anything special about these drivers? ddi.dll is bigger. The registry has references to Chinese keyboard so that would have to be changed for English ROMs.
Is the 3.14 much different from 3.07 or 3.10?

touch.dll is also different from 3.07 and 3.10, so i think we should test the new TouchFLO from this ROM. also it seems the build of this ROM is 20761

Yes, yes, this is true! Build should not be lower than AKU1.4. In RGU is the key to stop scrolling MS.

The Opal version of biotouch.dll was a little better than the 3.07/3.10 Elfin version.... so I hope 3.14 has an even better version with no problems.

The main question is... why is there this new release for the Elfin? Nobody sells this anymore, it's almost 2 years old.

My Album isn't working either
TouchFLO shortcut under Settings only shows a blank white screen when opened.
Anyways i'm going to bed.

I'm using the settings TouchFLO all good.

not sure about elfin but
orange uk shops are selling the elf touch still on pay and go for £140. i got mine a few weeks back from them , its a bargin so i assume other orange shops are doing the same . my radio when i first got it was 07.something it was a good radio but i changed it out of inerest in other radios and now cant find 07 anywere .

Did you notice that if you turn off the device into standby while plugged in, an animated charging icon appears?
Album still doesn't work. Anyways I"ll play with this later... have to go.

Can someone please attach the background for this screenshot also. I know it is HTC standard, but my ROM does not include it after the cab is installed.

The standard grayish bumpy background that is shown in the second screen shot. I know it is a standard lockscreen wallpaper, but my custom ROM does not have it after the install of this .cab (but it was the default before, and my favorite)
