[ROM][WWE][05.03.08] On hold due to personal stuff // Touch Surface 6.1.2.23 [OFFLIN]

Hi guys
The development of the surface rom is on hold due to personal reasons, i think everyone knows about it.
I've got none spare time right now, so the new touch that i was talking about is on hold, the money you guys have donated is in good hands and will be spend well if i got out of the personal stuff.

Info: This service pack deals with the hardware buttons dont work, wich was caused by the htc keyboard wich obviously isn't in the rom anymore.

Jup, this rom is in fact the touch dual rom, but with a different name and many improvements.
But i changed the name becouse there was a little confusion about the rom being for the nike of elf... stupid noobs

well.. here are the pictures on the site.. gave me a hard time registering.. but their server is fast in giving out email verifications..
anyway.. nothing seems new.. beside from the about applet telling that it is 6.1 professional.. i think it's just a hoax..
if it is really a 6.1 ROM, then should the screenshots be focusing on the NEW features WinMo6.1 should have supposed to deliver?
i mean, wktask and touch dual KB? that's supposed to be new to WM6.1? duh?

Is that just a theme such as wisbar on the device that shows the top bar similar to the taskbar on windows xp and shows what programs are open or is that possibly from the new 6.1 rom? That and the icon on the bottom bar that shows the keyboard.

whether its fake or not, i doubt those are standard wm6.1 apps

well reading the previous posts about 6.1, it was under the impression that it is going to be quite a bit different than 6.0!! so is it FAKE?

the truth is that windows mobile 6.1 is only out for phone edition... not pocketpc.... some of the recent motorla models have it... i dont think theres ANY PROFESSIONAL version for any PDA out yet

Hello Guys i wonder if someone knows a way to translate my windows which are in english to greek!i bought my mda vario 3(kaiser) from uk and i live in Greece..So if someone knows a way to make my windows in Greek language and the slide keyboard too plz give a link or a little help here!ty

Site search using Google. Search term "kaiser Greek". Read up on the threads that show in the search results, and you will find what you are looking for.

No, unfortunatelly no WM6 greek ROM for the Kaiser (except for the official of ACE Hellas, ofcourse, which is IMEI locked and no use for devices sold outside greece)!
I am willing to pay and so many other greek users, but so far we haven't found a good cooker to set up one for us

Yep, i was the one who tried this ROM first, before it went public ([email protected]), so no use for us with Kaizer...

By God's sake WHY can't you dump the ROM ? If you don't know how that's one thing, and we can help.

I honestly have a hard time beliving this will even run on our device...
Doesn't the Diamond have a 500 or 600 mhz cpu... on top of that a VGA screen and what is most-likely 3d accel graphics...
Looks like three strikes and your out.

I'm trying to understand:
1- You're turkish and maybe in Turkey there's a law against ROM dumping. Nah just joking.
2- On your board, your nickname is SuperPDAGuru, and you're the admin. Well this seems to be quite self-explanatory about your skills. So ROM dumping shouldn't be so hard to do.
3- Here you're nick sounds french. I'm french. It may be easier to explain your problem in french. I could then translate if needed.
4- You don't have the Diamond anymore: so WTF are you posting some videos that everyone has already seen thousands of time ?

Guys, cmon. The rom is already floating around. How do you think I got the OEM files for the keyboard? You just have to hunt and peck to find it.

So any other interesting cabs that could be produced out of this ROM ? What CE version is it ? Any valuable dlls inside? (read drivers...)

Oh yeah. There is plenty that can come from this. Not from me though. I've had my name on every mobile phone web site all week with those keyboards I released. Over 4000 d/l's just on my 4shared not to mention the mirrors. Plus I've had to clean my pm box, and my email accounts with all the emails asking for help. I released it for the kaiser's and I've had people with just about every type of phone you can think of trying to get it to work for them and asking for help. I tried to keep up at first with the requests but it got way out of hand. PLus, I don't really like my name all over the net and the word "hacked" just in front of it. However, I am 100% sure that there are a couple of brilliant minds tearing it apart as I type. There is alot coming down the pike.

Swype is not free software and is only available through manufacturers like HTC, Samsung etc. It has not been released to the public.
There have been some who have cut the app out of the ROM and posted cabs for download. Some of them have got in to hot water for doing so. Also you need to be very careful installing a cab if you use a lock on your phone. Because some of the cabs change the ModelName of the device and it could leave you locked out of your device.
With all this you can do a search on google and you will likely find a cab.
People like myself will not post a cab as I'm one of the people who got in trouble.
