I m using the snap 1.4 ROM... however, since june 1, i have been getting the following message on the homescreen:
This concludes the beta test of this software release. Thank you very much for your time and effort in helping make this a great product for our customers.
To obtain a newer release or further, please revisit the website that you usewd to obtain your current beta release.
I m using snap 1.4 with the sp1 update... and smarttoolkit rc08...
And the dark/blue/gray homescreen I saw in one of the posts here.
Why am i getting this message now??
Is there any way to recover from this?? is anyone else facing the same problem??

you may use version 1.3 as 1.4 the timebomb is fixed but for instance take out battery for a while then reenter a earlier date und safe your data!
look in the snap 1.4 thread.
frauhottelmann fixed the issue, just download the new version and flash it.
Oh Well...
So reflashing is the only option eh.... nothing else left to do other than go for it.... Thanks for your replies hashwtorrent and birdiebird

Ok ok, they are all the same ROM. And there's 30 pages of messages about various people's experience with it. Read grasshoppa...read.

Yes to question 1.
Your guess is as good as anyone elses as far as this being the final release or not. I suspect that at a minimum the final will at least be updated to report the same version in Windows as it does in the image file. (Windows still reports it as 1.13, while the image reports as being 1.25).
You need to read every message in the two main WM6 threads before you're allowed to ask another question...you're grounded son!

detailed installation and Upgrade Guide available
oh no fun!
i hate being grounded
( you remind me of my friend brandon : p)
anyways, is there a set release date for the actual version ( or legal on i should say)
because if its sometime soon i might as well wait, but if its not. then i should just go ahead and install it.
::another question::
[hope i dont get even more grounded : /]
my treo is unlocked ( orig cingular, now unlocked and using with T-mobile)
if i install the wm6, will it erase all my settings i currently have, ( will it reset it to manufacture default? )
thanks,
and btw dad.
thanks hah : D

Kill yourself by firewall! You keep asking silly questions about this ROM for over a week now on all the treo-forums I read. And you get answers, and after that you keep asking the same q's! Just read the threads!
Hello,
I ahve posted a couple of times on here asking how I can update Opera Mobile on my Touch Pro to the latest version and the responses I got were a bit confusing.
Please can someone give me simple step by step instructions how how to upgrade Opera Mobile to the latest version and give me a link to someone that has the correct and working update files so when I new version comes out I can easily upgrade without posting on here asking where the upgrade files are.
Also, how do you set Opera mobile to be the default browser as some programs still open links in PIE which is not what I want.
Thanks
Regards,
Neil
Go to opera.com. Download the latest version. Install the cab. Use the search function next time.
well theres plenty of options. 9.5 is still considered beta. and theres a new build of it like every day. do a search and you can find the cab and just install it. newest versions are builds 15000 and up. they work well. ^_^
Yes, I know about the cab but that just installs a new copy and does not overwrite the current one.
Please tell me a simple way to overwrite the one on the stock rom with a newer version and I did search but did not find anything helpful too me
I also do not wish to change roms as my one is working fine so please do not suggest it
I heard the new version doesn't support the use of the autorotate feature (usind the accelerometer). This is why I have not updated. Is this true?

no its not. it has all the features of the older builds and more.
So how do you update like I asked above?
- Find the CAB with the version you want
- Use a task manager (like Advanced Task Manager) to kill the Opera processes (OperaL and OperaPre) if they are running
http://www.touchxperience.com/en/advanced-task-manager/downloads.html
- Run the install CAB like normal. It will ask to remove the previous version, then say it could not be removed. Continue, and you will finish with a "Installation unsuccessful" message. Just ignore it, Opera will be installed just fine. Open Opera and go to opera:about to confirm the version.
If you are doing a major update, you need to install from a CAB. If you are doing a minor update (eg: not from 19xx to 2xxx, or from 2xxx to 15xxx builds), you can just overwrite the Opera9.exe and OperaL.exe files, so that your preferences aren't overwritten/reset.
And please try searching -- this information has been posted dozens of times, and is posted again and again every time Opera gets updated in the Development & Hacking section.

Latest versions include all the features. However, some CABs overwrite the skin files and reset Opera settings, which may disable some features. You can always re-enable the features by editing opera:config, but some users have mistakenly assumed that the latest versions have removed certain things (zoom slide bar, auto-rotate, etc).
Thankyou for your help

Hi,
I can't post yet directly on Namidairo thread.
I would like to know if someone has the change log for every version release by Namidairo?
I have version cm-11-20140306-UNOFFICIAL-tf201 installed, it works fine.:highfive:
Since I have no idea of what has been changed in new versions. Is it better to keep my version? or just try new one?
I would like to test every version and git my feedback on it, but I don't know what changes to test/verify for!
Regards

Its an official OTA release of android 10 not a beta. The fixes will come with security patches. If its a major bug it will be fixed. He can report it though through customer care.
