Remap Music Tab in Touchflo 3d to Use Pocket Player - Touch Pro, Fuze General

Hello,
First of all forgive me if this has been discussed somewhere else. I searched, but I was unable to find anything.
I want to somehow remap the music tab so that it plays music using pocket player. The reason for this is that Pocket Player has gapless playback, and it drives me crazy when it skips between songs that are meant to flow together smoothly.
Is this possible? It would be nice if everything in the tab was the same only it played gapless.
Thanks.

A2DP controls

Hi!
I'm using my Touch Pro in conjunction with an A2DP enabled car kit to stream MP3s to my car radio.
Unfortunately when I use the prev or next button on my carkit the (sucky) Touch Music player responds to them, instead of the (not so sucky) Pocket Player, which I prefer to play my MP3s with.
Does anyone have any suggestions on this?
Thanks!
Same here. The Pocket Player guys over at the Conduits forum are looking for a solution...
I have the same problem. You can not use the pause/play avrcp buttons to control the player. If you try to pause any player you will accidentally start up the wmp.
I guess we have to wait for a new rom or program that can reconfigure the avrcp controls

I have the same problem, too! Help needed! I'm using the funkwerk dabendorf ego look hands-free system. http://www.fwd-online.de/content_manager/page.php?ID=17780&dbc=40e5f956c20fc998358f90e2240b457d
yup even if u disable touch flo 3d then it just opens media player, pretty annoying
Hi,
I don't know how to change the defaultplayer but it is possible. I like my A2DP to use the Touch Player.
However I had to reset my device to the factory settings because A2DP didn't use the Touch Player anymore, but only used Windows Media Player.
Therefore my conclusion that it must be possible to make A2DP use another application.
When I was looking on how to change back the A2DP to Touch Media Player a lot of people on the forums suggested to make sure that the application that you want to use is the default player for MP3 files.
So what applications opens when you click on a MP3?
Regards,
AJ

Looking for alternate music player

Hi all,
I'm using CorePlayer as music player on my TP but I've discovered that if CoreP is running, everything else is working terrible slow.
If CorePlayer is plaing 128kbit mp3 and I'm working on opera there is a HUGE delay in keyboard response, menu speed and so on.
There is no similair lag when playing music on internal TP player.
Could you please recommend me some alternative music player which is less resource consuming than CorePlayer?
Regards
B.
I would recommend you Pocket Player. Finger friendly and i can usually read my ebooks while listening to music.
I'll try it - are you reading books on this PP or I misunderstand something ?
I'm using an old version of uBook reader which works fine for me
Regards
B.
WMExperts just did a comparitive article on some media players.
other alternatives could be: S2P (discontinued in the meantime but still a good app)
hope you find what you're looking for
DicE
yes I like pocket player for music and core player for music and videos

Err nope two seperate programs Pocket Player for music in the background and eReader.
Pocket Tunes is fine for me!

Pocket Player 3.7 slows down for me as well.
Even when the app is killed, it's still slow.
Nothing suspicious found in Task Manager.
Only way out = SOFT RESET
Why not just use WMP/S2P/Audio Manager? I seem to find that S2P does a very good job. I use WMP nowadays also with SRS WOW HD and Audio Booster. It does a good job once you find the right settings on audio. and I still love WMP's feature to lock the screen and use all the buttons, S2P can do that also
Music Player
I concur that Pocket Player is the best I have found after trying a number of different ones. Very user friendly & not too draining on resources...

Launching S2P when scrolling on Music Tab (TF3D)?

Hello,
last week I found a program which can associate any button on the screen with another program you can choose. But I cant find it anymore.
Is it possible to assign to the Music tab (TF3D Music Player) with the Slide 2 Play player?
I mean, when I click the Music tab, S2P will start instead of the TF3D Music Player.
Is it possible?
That would be cool. I would like to try this too.
...but how to do this?
Is there a regestry entry, i can change to launch the S2P Player instead of the TF3D Player?

Using the Fuze for music; a few questions.

Hey, everyone!
So I've been using the Fuze for a while, and while I'm very impressed with how well it plays music (the last exposure I had to listening to music on a phone was not a good one...), I'm a bit bitter about the shortcomings I've run across on the simpler things. I wonder if anyone here could answer these questions:
* Does anyone know an app or background service that lets me adjust volume with the screen OFF? It's a bit inconvenient to have to unlock the phone every time I want to adjust the volume.
* Does anyone know of a lean and mean music player that supports gapless playback AND has at least a basic library that isn't slow? I tried Pocket Player (horrible library performance), Kinoma (no gapless and horribly laggy), S2P (great library, but graphics were distracting and no gapless), HTC's built-in player (pretty good, but no gapless) and Windows Media (need I say more?) and all of the other apps I've heard about don't catalog music.
Thanks!

for ur first question i HIGHLY doubt theres an app unless u have S2U2 as an unlock app, then u can change the settings where u can change the volume without unlocking
for ur second question, try nitrogen player, never tried it but i heard alot of good reviews for it http://www.dewantoro.net/search/nitro+player+WM
the only i use on my TP for music was the TF3D player and i havent experienced any problems with it, but give nitrogen player a try...
Libraries are going to be slow if you have a large collection. Try TCPMP or mortplayer-they use a file explorer instead of a library. The downside is that you can't play genres or all your music. You need to make playlists.
PocketPlayer has gapless playback and many other features. The only problem is that it is not integrated into manila.

Music Player

I was wondering if anyone knew of a better music player than htc's?
One of the main problems is searching for songs, scrolling takes a long time and if use the search button it repeats the song. Also I would like it to save my preferences on auto-loop and shuffle.
Was also wondering if what the best way to transfer music AND playlist from itunes to the evo.
And I have noticed my Ipod touch plays music much louder than my evo, is there any way to overide the sound cap?
