about a few seconds i became this error Message:
see pic
What happens ???
PLEASE PLEASE Help...
maybe something wrong with your system.
you can setup your system again.
or you can setup active asy in other computer to check it
i have reinstalled my system and now it works fine ...
Now i have a new Prob.
I can´t install TT5 on my XDA II...
Is there anywhere who can help me....
Hi,
I have the same problem too. I just updated to ROM1.60c and ActiveSync 4.1 build 4807. When I try to sync, tt keeps giving me the error code 85010014.
The funny thing is, I have no problems syncing Notes from Outlook. But the other Outlook items like Contacts, Calendar and Tasks are not so lucky.
What's happening? I've already allowed the exceptions in my Windows Firewall...
Any help is appreciated, thanks!

I had the same 85010014 problem when syncing on my BA. Typically I "Work Offline" with Outlook, since I'm on the road a lot.
The fix was to make sure I was connected to my Exchange Server the first time I sync-ed my PDA. In my case, I had to connect to my office through VPN and choose "Connect" when prompted after launching Outlook.
Hope this helps!
Hey kcchen,
Thanks once again! I replied in the other post already, but just wanna thank u again.
Cheers!

Activesync 4.1 and Tom Tom 5
Similar problem here guys but I don't sync with an exchange server, just the local PC, everything else seems to work fine but when I try to install TT5 the install pukes and wants to send an error report to MS
Help!
It is the same problem to me (only have Local PC). Could some one give more advice.
I solved my ActiveSync problem with Error 85010014.
I also run Eudora and Incredimail Plugin for Outlook on both PCs, Work and Home. Both are on XP Pro SP2 and when I installed ActiveSync 4.1 on my work PC without issue, I decided to attack my Home PC Outlook installation to see if I could resolve the issue.
I installed ActiveSync 4.1 on my Work PC - XP Pro SP2 with Office 2003, Eudora and Incredimail Outlook Plugin. No Problem with ActiveSync there.
So, At home:
Putting Outlook in Offline mode did not solve the problem.
I uninstalled ActiveSync 4.0 and installed ActiveSync 4.1 - No difference.
I backed up Outlook via 3rd party program to grab account settings as well as my 2GB pst file then ran Help->Detect and Repair... - reboot, no difference.
I then ran Control Panel -> Add or remove Programs -> Office 2003 and chose to modify my installation by adding or removing components. I unchecked Outlook and updated it to remove Outlook from my Office 2003 suite. Then returned to this option and re-checked Outlook to add it back to my Office 2003 Suite, CD-Rom in hand but updating, it did not ask for the Office 2003 Install CD-Rom... - Rebooted and connected - Bingo NO 85010014 error!

Activesync 4.1 errors

Hi,
I just updated to ROM1.60c and ActiveSync 4.1 build 4807. When I try to sync, Activesync keeps giving me the error code 85010014.
The funny thing is, there's no problem syncing Notes from Outlook. But the other Outlook items such as Contacts, Calendar and Tasks are unable to sync.
What's happening? Does anyone else have the same problem? Why Notes is ok, but not the rest?
Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Had the same problem after upgrading to WM5. If you use offline folders, make sure Outlook is connected to your Exchange Server, they try to sync your PDA. It takes a little while to sync Contacts and Calendar the first time, but afterwards you can "Work Offline" and sync everything successfully.
If it doesn't work, I would start with a new partnership.... delete previous computer partnerships from AS on your PDA and also delete PDA Partnership in AS on your PC.
There's also a few other posts here that refer to performing a "Repair" of the Outlook 2003 installation and another that says to uninstall and re-install Office 2003 all together. I tried the "Repair" (in Help Menu of Outlook) and it didn't work... I wasn't about to re-install my Office.... Luckily I found my solution through further digging on the Internet.
Good luck! Let us know the results.

Hi kcchen,
It works! What happened was that I had installed AS 4.1 at home over the weekend. On Monday I came to office, sync and suddenly it works! Never knew that it was becoz of Exchange...
Thanks for the great help. Next, to solve the problem with insufficient ROM...too much for programs, not enough for storage.
Thanks again buddy
Glad it worked for you! I was pretty frustrated with the error also...
where do you get ActiveSync 4.1
mine is ActiveSync 4.00.4343
can you give me the link for ActiveSync 4.1
thx
search goes a long way

Problems to syncronize contact with active sync

I can't be able to syncronize the outlook contact through active sync. Nobody can help me ? Thanks
I think you need to give a lot more information for anyone to even begin to suggest anything.
Have you searched these forums for "activesync" to find similar errors.
If so, then give the following information
1. What version of Activesync
2. What version of Outlook
3. Do you get an error message. If so what
4. Can you browse the device through Activesync
5. Did it used to work with this PC or has it never worked.
6. Do you/can you sync with another PC
The versione of active sync is 4.2 ;
Microsoft outlook (Not outlook express)
I don't receive an error message ;
Yes i can browse the device and i can sybcronize the calendar ;
It work with another pc but don't syncronize only the contact with my office pc.
Thanks
I think this is the same problem that i'm looking the solution for. You want to synchronize contacts with two PCs? one in your home and 2nd in your office? I would also want to do that. Can someone give more information on this one? If someone can help please send PM to me, I'm TyTN user so I don't often check this area of forum.
Thanks in advance for any help

Hi, you need to upggrade your Windows Mobile Device Center 6 to the version 6.1, the new version contains more phone drivers for Windows Vista Mobile Device Center.
Just download the appropriate language of the list and install it.....
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/devicecenter.mspx
In order to check those other boxes, you must run outlook once and configure it..or press don't add email account..
thanks i will check both about things i mean i will update my Device Center as well as i will try runing Outlook express may be it ll work

Active Sync problem with XP SP3

Hi All,
I have a problem with Active sync 4.5
I have to use Windows XP SP3 on my office computer. I can install Active Sync but when I start Active Sync, I get the error message user32.dll is can not be relocated and active sync is not starting.
Any ideas?
Thanx a lot in advance
Can you find user32.dll manually? It should be located at "C:\Windows\system32".
If you can locate the file, my guess would be that you downloaded a faulty installation package, and you should re-download.
If you can't find user32.dll, or if the above doesn't solve your problem, someone more technically than me will have to help you
Anyway, there's my two cents.
