Is there a program, other then MS Outlook, that I can use to edit my contacts, but also read my SMS, and poping up the newly arived, dial and answer phone calls through my PC (using the PC speakers and microphone), while my phone is connected via ActiveSync.
I'll understand the lack of answer as "no such program".
Thank you
Missed this one before.
not sure about the phone side of things but try Jeyo Mobile Companion for the rest of your request.
Thanks, I'll give it a try.

Hi, I need a "direction" for solve this problem.
My father is living in a place without wireless connection, and he need to go to the middle of lagoon to get signal (EDGE/GSM).
In the boat he call your friend and send/receive e-mail.
He like to go back to home, synch WM 6 whit PC and real all received mail.
Then, in PC, answer mail's, create new and synch again whit WM6.
Go to center of lagoon and send it.
I say it that it not work, but... well is my father!!!...
¿Can help my?
As far as I know its not possible to sync and send from the phone not the PC. Maybe just have him get a bluetooth keyboard so that he can type messages more easily on the phone.
Hello everyone, this post is going to be a bit on the lengthy side, but I really want to try and give as much information as I can.
Phone: Samsung Blackjack 2
Platform: Windows Mobile 6
Carrier: AT&T
So to anyone who has used WM6, you know how on the Home Screen, if you go one section below the time and date, you get to the "Missed Calls, Voicemail, Text Messages, Email ..." strip? Well, I setup my three emails (@Hotmail,@Gmail,@Yahoo), and everything worked perfectly, it told me when I received emails with no delay or anything like that. Until one day, I created a new email @live.com, which I tried to setup by going to the "Messaging" screen, selected "Setup E-mail," entered my LIVE.com email, my password, and hit next. Unfortunately, because it's a Windows phone, which is ultimately a Microsoft product, it of course knows that LIVE.com is from Microsoft as well, so it prompted me to the next screen which said: "Auto Setup found settings for: live.com. To complete setup and download e-mail, click Next." And then when I clicked Next, it opened up Internet Explorer, and prompted me to download this Windows Live program, which opens up, and sits at a blank screen. SO, I go back to the "Messaging" page, and even the "Missed Calls, Voic...." strip, and my Hotmail is gone. Only my Gmail and Yahoo show on there. I have no idea why it did that. I'm guessing because just like it detected live.com as a Microsoft email, it detected that Hotmail is too, and therefore deleted it, and wants me to use that Windows Live program that it downloaded. So now, I try to "Setup E-mail" my Hotmail, I go through the same screens as I did with the live.com, and it sends me to Internet Explorer, which made me download the same program that I did with live.com. So this Windows Live program says that it's syncing my email, but it does nothing. It just sits there with "Hotmail" at the top, and nothing else.
SO my question is, how can I setup my Hotmail so it can update in real time like it was before all this crap happened? I'm honestly considering re-installing WM6.
I apologize for the long post once again. Your help will be appreciated!

Hi all
The screen on my diamond is dead, I can receive calls so it seems ok. I would like to save all the contacts onto a notepad before I send it off for repair. I have a spare phone but all numbers are not on sim.
Is there an application that can do this?
Thanks

I ran into an interesting thing witch now became problem when using windows mobile phone :
1 contact cant have more than 1 mobile phone !!! Many of my contacts have 2-3 mobile
phones witch they use for different areas or different types of calls, and i can only enter
1 mobile phone and others i have to use as Home, office etc. Now i dont know wether i am
noob who doesnt know to enter another mobile phone either in Contacts on the device itself
nor in Outlook Express on PC, or the Microsoft scre*ed up on such a simple issue, but even
if i enter the phone as Home or Office, i do not have some options to send SMS/MMS to them
and similliar stuff. Can anyone enlight me in this this way? Cheers.
Use iContact.. Problem Solved!
Does anyone know of any apps that allow you to send and receive text messages through your phone with your computer? I know that PDA Net has the ability but it isn't compatible with Mac OSX. I am looking for something dedicated to text messages. I know I can do this with a VNC to my phone but that kind of thing is too laggy and slow.
Thanks!
Hi,
The greatest App there is right now is smshare
You have to install this app on your Android phone, and the smshare Extension on your Chrome Browser.
Then you can type your SMS in the Chrome-Extension, and then the SMS will be sent to your phone, which then sends them as normal SMS. No Wifi hassels, and really comfortable and fast.
A new feature of smshare is that your incoming sms can be forwarded to your email account - so you don't even need to touch your phone for communication via SMS.
Another way is to use the Wifi SMS Apps.
On these kind of Apps (like for example RemoteSMS) you have to connect your phone to the same Wlan as your Computer, start the App on the Phone, and then you can log into an Webinterface with your Browser and compose the SMS there which then are sent from your phone.
The problem with smshare is that it uses a third party server so if privacy is a concern, then remotesms is much better. I use remotesms and u can actually connect via WLAN, usb or Bluetooth and it's a direct connection so no privacy concerns. Works brilliantly.
Much thanks for both of your for your replies. This is exactly what I was looking for!
SMS2PC gets my vote. Lovely simple interface!
