http://www.droiddeveloper.com/hrbuilds/adp1.5.sapphire-signed.zip
This is strictly a proof of concept.
I had tested it with another sapphire user and they said it works just fine.
For those of you that want to give it a try:
1. Download the rom (http://www.droiddeveloper.com/hrbuilds/adp1.5.sapphire-signed.zip)
2. Copy to sd card as "update.zip"
3. Reboot into recovery mode (HOME+POWER)
4. DO A NANDROID BACKUP (option with ALT+B beside it)
5. Wipe (option that has [ALT+W] beside it)
6. Apply update (option with [ALT+S] beside it)
7. Reboot (HOME+BACK)
enjoy.
if you want to revert back to your backup, power off the device, boot with BACK+POWER or VOLUME DOWN+POWER and type the following:
Code:
fastboot erase system -w
fastboot erase boot
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash userdata data.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot reboot
thanks, i flash it

Low storage for apps?
Flash the AlphaRev HBOOT Bravo N1Table (Require S-OFF)
Follow this instrunction for update without data lost (aka no data wipe)
Still low storage for apps?
Install an A2SD solution: Firerat or Darktremor
i recommend the Firerat solution: CM specific, less space usage 25kb vs 6mb, bind mount, no boot loop, auto restore after cm rom update (from 1.35b)

Just kidding. But I thought a reference to the old thread could be useful.

the developt is in 6.1 cyanomod nightly updated right?
Latest nigthlies have been rock solid for me. My only complaint is the annoying credential storage password, which I must enter every time I reboot the phone if I want to connect to 802.1x wifi networks. Other than that, 16x have been flawless.
*cheers kali on*
Finally an up to date thread. Reading your post I learned something. I didn't know firerat a2sd now works with cyanogen.
Anyone got experience migrating from dta2sd to firerat?

Yes! Absolutely no problem... (but if you already have recovery, then there is no need to flash a new one)
Am I the only one having problem with build163? The zip won't install from my recovery, just stating it's 'bad'. I already redownloaded it. It unzip's fine on my linux box. I even rezipped it but my recovery keeps refusing to start the install process.
I'm a bit stumped here.

It's disabled by default. It just says it can't read the .zip file. If I _enable_ verification it says it can't read the footer from the .zip. If I disable verification again it just says "can't open /sdcard/cm_bravo_full-163.zip (bad)".
I also have the same with build 162. I flashed pretty much every cm-nightly in the last few months and now all of a sudden this? What am I doing wrong .
I just installed the miui-desire.zip file again that was on my sdcard and it installed without a hitch. This is getting annoying .
EDIT: Solved it. Apparently there is a bug in my recovery. If I use the recovery the mount my sdcard over USB, afterwards /sdcard can get unmounted. So it couldn't find the .zip file I was choosing because /sdcard was not mounted. Why it was still possible to list the contents on the sdcard is a mystery to me. That must mean the recovery mounts /sdcard, lists the contents and then unmounts it again, and _then_ tries to start the update?!?
Anyway, going into the 'mounts and storage' menu and choosing 'mount /sdcard' suddenly made sure things worked again.
Really stumped how this happened.

What recovery image are you using? If you have amonRA you might try to fix this launching clockworkmod via fake flash and using that one to install the update. Otherwise if you already have clockwork you might try flashing amonRA via hboot and use that one...at times i can't perform something with one of the two recoveries, and using the other one often solves every issue for me

This recovery won't allow you to do a boot or system wipe. just data/cache and dalvik. If you do the wipes included you can still boot the phone afterwards...that's not a full wipe.
Just FYI.

How To: Flash UltraJack Recovery to your Phone (Windows/Mac/Linux)
NOTE: This is a modified version of the AmonRA recovery flashing package.
The only thing I really did was modify the .sh/.bat files and include the UltraJack Recovery.
@devilzeye793 and whoever else may be wondering: Here you go!
1. Download the attached ZIP and extract
2. Make sure you have the necessary drivers installed for bootloader mode (installing PDAnet seems to do the trick on Windows: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=9861928#post9861928)
3. Boot your phone into bootloader mode (Google it, I can't list all the ways here).
4. Plug your phone into your computer and let Windows install the drivers automatically (if you're on Windows, unfortunately I'm not really sure how this happens on Mac/Linux). NOTE: On some phones (i.e. the U8150), the phone will stay on the carrier logo screen. THIS IS NORMAL!
5. Run the installer for your OS from the extracted folder (.bat file on Windows, .sh file on Mac/Linux) and let it work its magic
6. After the script has flashed the recovery image (should take ~1-5 seconds), unplug your phone and remove/re-insert the battery to get out of bootloader mode
7. Enjoy your new recovery image!
Hope this helped some people out there!

Great, I'm glad it worked out for you!
I am currently using the stock ROM, simply because I currently see no reason to install any of the currently available custom ROMs for the Comet. As soon as someone has created a stable port of Cyanogen however, you better believe I'm going to be one of the first people on board!

Hi , I'm french well excuse my langage .
I am pleased to announce the porting kernel 2.6.38 .6 with ext2, ext3 and ext4 filesystem support and OVERCLOCK

[KERNEL]Htc-Pico kernel 2.6.38.6 with ext2,3,4 support
PLEASE MAKE A FULL NANDROID BACKUP BEFORE I CAN'T ASSUME A BRICK
Well , I post here my work :
-clean-update.zip :
This is an official update , I just remove some command in the update.script because I cannot install it : I use a custom boot and recovery !!
Well , I modify the update.script and apply it : It work !!
Made some test : it patch some official apk and files , and upgrade boot + recovery + hboot +radio
You don't lose data , you have a new official rom : stock boot , recovery + new hboot +new radio
You lose custom boot , recovery and ext partition .
Your ext partition is on your sdcard but the stock kernel have no ext support
If you have unlocked your pico it's great you don't lose it and you can flash a custom boot or recovery
WARNIG : IF YOU USE AN EXT PARTITION YOU LOSE YOUR DATA BECAUSE YOU LOSE CUSTOM BOOT
MAKE A FULL BACKUP WITH NANDROID OR OTHER TITANIUM ...

1) full backup with titanium or other and recovery mode -> nandroid backup
2) apply update
3) reboot the phone : it will reboot in 3 time
4) reboot in fastboot mode
5) Now we apply a fake flash to boot with over-recovery.img :
Code:
fastboot boot /full/path/to/over-recovery.img
The phone reboot in recovery
6) nandroid backup
Like this you have a stock rom with update
7) That's all
You can now flash boot system recovery , install rom , make what you want you can back to official rom (not system !!)
Revert back to stock rom with latest update :
-new boot.img with wifi modules
-new recovery
-new radio.img
-new hboot.img , always unlocked
-patch system update
Find it here
With this package you have a full clean rom

You don't do what I tell to you :
Your command rebuilt the boot.img with the zImage :
C:\android-sdk-windows\tools>fastboot boot zImage creating boot image... creating boot image - 2897920 bytes downloading 'boot.img'... OKAY [ 0.717s] booting... FAILED (remote: reproduce boot image with on-flash ramdisk error) finished. total time: 0.735s
It's not the good way , you must test the boot.img , and not recreate it :
fastboot boot /full/path/to/boot.img
To do what you try the zImage and the boot.img use by the pico must have be build in the same way
are these all commands i have to run/flash. or is there any other i have to do.
-boot.img :
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot boot /full/path/to/boot.img
fastboot flash boot /full/path/to/boot.img
adb shell mv /system/lib/modules/bcm4330.ko /system/lib/modules/bcm4330.bak
adb push /full/path/to/bcm4330.ko /system/lib/modules/bcm4330.ko
-recovery.img :
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot boot /full/path/to/recovery.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash boot boot.img
but i didnt understand what i should do with zImage??
In a word : NOTHING
To use zImage you must dump boot.img or/and recovery.img , extract it , remove the old zImage and rebuild the boot.img/recovery.img .
When this is done you try it with :
fastboot boot /full/path/to/boot.img
or
fastboot boot /full/path/to/recovery.img
And if you like this you can flash :
fastboot flash boot /full/path/to/boot.img
or
fastboot flash recovery /full/path/to/recovery.img
If you do what you says you have my kernel :
kernel version :
2.6.38.6 [email protected]
To just try my kernel on boot :
fastboot boot /full/path/to/boot.img
To just try my kernel on recovery :
fastboot boot /full/path/to/recovery.img
Thanks sir for so much help.

idk if anyone would want this but here is a clean jellybean nandroid backup of a cricket wireless Htc One SV with newest update already applied. http://www.filefactory.com/file/5u395y1qavzr/Clean_JB_Crkt_2.04.1050.3.rar
Ok, i've downloaded this backup and made a zip file for flashing in recovery from it.
Credits:
- ironhide602 for the backup
- dsixda for his kitchen
Download:
JB_Crkt 2.04.1050.3_stock_odexed.zip
Notice:
As i don't have a cricket phone i could not test but one tester reported it's working.
Anyway, flash this on your own risk. Don't do this, if you are not experienced enough!
This files are for flashing in recovery.
I will not work on bugs, if you find some (as i could not test myself)!
Kernel source code can be found at htcdev.com.
How to install:
First of all: make a nand backup in recovery, so you can easily go back if you don't like it!!!
Download the zip file that match to your device and copy to sd card.
Wipe/format data/system/cache/dalvik cache, factory reset.
Flash the zip through recovery.
Htcdev.com unlocked users who are not S-Off have to extract boot.img from the zip file and flash it afterwards over fastboot with the command:
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Then reboot.
- There is no superuser/su inside, if you wanna root, flash superuser from here.

You need reflash vbmeta and same vbmeta for vbmeta_system if you reinstalled full Miui rom
Recovery flashed, working fine. It stays too. Waiting for rom to download, doing it first time like this so please accommodate silly questions if any
I do my best, recovery it is very good now also you can flash super.img
If you allready formated Data whit last vendor.img for uncpryted mode, you don't need to format it again, just wipe it is oj
gsi flashing works?
I'll need help with these. My queries in brackets ( )
-Give attention system for system vendor for vendor.... (Please explain a bit)
-Format your data, do not wipe format (A bit more explanation)
-Last one thing mount cust partition under mount menu then you can enter this command under terminal recovery :
cd /cust
rm -r *
(Do I have to do this inside recovey menu?)
-Also if you allready formated before with new vendor, you don't need format it again, just wipe crappy new forum (Not formatted before)
Don't forget you only need install MagiskManager then he ask you reboot once time
Archive.zip (MagiskManager, Youtube Vance, and...) (Do i have to install magisk via zip in recovery? If so, which file? As u said latest wont work)
For me recovery no touch.Send me anethyng to test.
This is not gsi mode, it's Miui boot.img recovery.img and full rom hacked.
4 file in your phone
System.img Vendor.img Product.img and Boot.img
Recovery Menu :
Install > Install Image >> vendor.img >> Vendor Image Swipe
Same for all 4 image
Then format your data if you are on crypted Miui rom or just wipe if you got allready uncrypted data mode
Finaly Mount Menu
Check Cust to mount
Then back to Advanced menu choose Terminal :
cd /cust
rm -r *
Reboot and wait
Archive.zip it is for you make easyer to got what you need : just unzip it on your phone after reboot finish and install what you need
No don't install Magisk.zip as i say can't work, you don't need magisk.zip anymore, just install Magisk Manager under Anrdoid in the Archive.zip
vendor.img >> Vendor Image >> Swipe
system.img >> System Image >> Swipe
product.img >> Product Image >> Swipe
boot.img >> Boot >> Swipe
Then format your data if you are on crypted Miui rom or just wipe if you got allready uncrypted data mode
I'm not sur about this, I flashed Treble Rom when u shared and after that I did not change anything. So do I format now or just wipe?
Last time i share vendor uncrypted mode if you got this vendor mod then you allready formated it to got uncrypted data if not then format your data.
Format your data, do not wipe format
I've flashed vendor, system, product and boot. Now I'm on main menu. Where do I format from? Wipe I guess?
By clicking wipe, I have 2 options:
1. Advanced Wipe
2. Format Data
And then on bottom is "Swipe to factory reset"
What do i do?
"yes" >> swipe
