and if you have a yahoo email acct, check if it works on the stock email app

I believe myfaves is there, its just idle unless someone that has a mufaves plan uses it. Suckjs that it doesn't have SU and root though. I'll wait for the official jf release. Thanks for testing it for the rest of us lazy asses

I had Jax1.7r2.
This is what seemed to work for me:
1. take nandroid. save the imgs on your PC.
2. download Cyanogens latest build with BFS.
3. Extract boot.img from that.
4. flash boot.img (cyanogen), data.img (nandroid), system.img(nandroid)
5. boot.
6. push the /system/lib/modules/wlan.ko from cyanogen to your device.
It is sort of fast, i think.
To the biggies out there: Did i do something that is extremely stupid?

How exactly can you confirm that this is working properly?
i have installed, and is working fine. no lag when recibe calls.
1. i am able to use my phone.
2. its faster.
3. Jacs build has "New 2.6.29 kernel by JAC-SKI CUSTOM HTC SOURCED", mine shows 2.6.29.6-cm4 [email protected] I am assuming cm = cyanogenmod.
4. wifi didnt work. Had to use the driver that was from the same build as the kernel i took. Basically BFS build.
5. Its FAST.

BFS is the Brain F*** Scheduler that an Aussie linux hacker created last month which has reinvented the thought of how processes should be scheduled on a desktop computer. BFS is geared towards smaller systems, not corporate servers with 4096 processors, thus better to serve our purpose.
Cyanogen has backported BFS to Android thus allowing us all to benefit on our Dream/Hero/Magic.
Cyanogen is awesome.

lol yeah probably last as usual...oh well i got hofo300 in and it feels real official, case's rom is nice to...and myhero 2.0.2 is great!! Bluetooth works on hofo300 but hotweiss is coming with 3.0..1 soon according to his twitter

I HAVE 32A italian and i insert my original serial on htc italian website but the site say the serial is incorrect..
And now it is released in Norway.

You have to insert your S/N not the IMEI! (S/N is under your battery!)

Uah... I burned this image using the RUU. The rom does not have Market app it self. So, waste on burning it and getting the perfect spl like me
Then flash it to SG, or TW official ROM. I'm using the TW rom and couldn't be any happier.

Nope the Indonesian (SEA) ROM doesn't have the Market app :-D , even the initial ROM when i bought the Phone didn't had Gmail , Google Maps and all the other Google Applications.

HTC has some legal Problems in Indonesia thats why most Shops removed HTC devices from their Stock. Even in Online shops hard to get one. But i don't know the Reason , not very familiar with the Situation here,

Why not? It does not mean that there is anything new to that ROM in comparision to your 2.10 or what ever. It "could" be that there is something, but it does not have to...
Maybe there is just a newer Google Mail App or something that isn't worth thinking about it (because you can also get it on the market)
But if someone find a way to extract the version numbers we could find out what's new.

- new Bootscreen. The letters aren't written like before, they now seem to "fade in"

Not sure if hBoot really does matter but for me it worked with hboot 0.93 (S-OFF)
but I had 2.10 running with 0.75 even if 2.10 was shipped with a newer version of hboot.

Should work with any GSM Desire.
There are some more languages in it.
You'll need a gold card if your original ROM version wasn't x.xx.161.x as that's the Vodafone vendor code, just as WWE is x.xx.405.x

Based on Vodafone UK 2.33.161.2 from OP
- Rooted
- App2SD (required EXT2 or EXT3 Partition. EXT4 is not supported)
- Added Busybox + run-parts support
- moved dalvik-cache to SD
- Full Deodexed
- apk signed
- zipaligned
- Boot sound disabled
- removed radio
- removed hboot
