Can anybody make a working cab of HTC Footprint for the Diamond2. The cab file that i have will only work on the diamond1

Footprint was first only an htc tool used to sell a cheaper version of one of their pdaphones. A cab has been done to include it on Diamond and was working too with TouchPro.
So is there a cab with HTC Footprint for Topaz/Diamond2 ?

I have check for a footprint version for my topaz myself but couldnt find anything that works.
Maybe we shall concider an alternative geotagging software.
There are a few freewares over google!
Currently, to my knowledge, no one has been able to get footprints working with the topaz as of yet. Maybe in time, someone will figure it out.

So the Tilt and video drivers are hard enough on me already... and HTC is already pursuing me to upgrade my mobile so I can get TouchFLO 2.0...

I found the leak and installed it (10MB!!!) but it won't run. Oh well.
It does run... just not as well... For improving it to a sad FPS instead of a very sad FPS apply some scripts or tweaks found at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=363500&page=8
It works on all phones not just HTC...
I recently switched from using the ATT Tilt to the Cruise (mainly because it's smaller/lighter to carry around) It's mainly working ok, but I have a few questions:
1) Does anyone know of a decent handwriting recognition software out there I could use? On the TILT i got used to the "block-recognizer," as the lesser of evils, but i would LOVE to find software that can use the whole screen. I use these devices a lot, so after a while that lower left corner becomes all scratched up (even using a screen protector) , and then you have to pay about $200 for a new screen, since the characters no long respond well to Block Recognizer. I"ve tried the "Transcriber" that comes with Windows Mobile 6, and it seems awful, as do the several other programs i found online, such as Pen Writer and Caligrapher, i think they're called? Back when i used Palm/Treo devices, i really loved the Teal Script program, but it doesn't seem to work for W Mobile? Anyone know of anything that could work??
2) Some things worked better on the Tilt, i guess becuase of the ATT software? For example, on Tilt you can use the word completion software in the Calendar mode, but on the Cruise it doesn't come up. And the word completion software "remembers" two-word or longer phrases in the ATT Tilt software, but not in the Cruise. Is there any work-around to be able to do this on the Cruise too??
3) Is it worth trying to upgrade to 6.1 on the Cruise, through some kind of cooked ROM, or better to wait until HTC finally (hopefully) releases the 6.1 ware??

Aaargh! Why does HTC have such a confusing naming system - there's a on old version of TouchFLO, and a new version that looks like TouchFLO3D. And now there are two Touch Cruises.

Any body knows how to remove CID lock for the htc touch cruise T4242 (Iolite)? I was trying to flash the ROM given in this thread (RUU_Iolite_HTC_Europe_1.09.401.3_Radio_Sign_12.41.30.16_0.41.30.12_Ship) but I got the "Wrong vender ID" error.

I'm planning to buy the new hours in a few hours but have a question : I don't pay for internet on my phone. Will the footprint feature will feature ? will I be able to use a map on my computer with the places where I took pictures ?
I'm European and I'm going to buy this phone here in Taipei. They offer me to change the ROM from Chinese to English. Other than that do you see any issue ?

I've got a T4242 , Touch Cruise 2009 as it officially called. Dutch version of rom.
Footprint uses GPS to pinpoint your location , all other information you need to enter yourself.
Other features never spoken of :
Start navpanel and bluetooth when placed in car holder. Handy so you don't need to turn on/off BT to save battery.
5-Way button. Around his button is a small circle, it can be turned like a volume turn. This is used to scroll through mail etc and through options.
Big improvements for me :
GPS
HSDPA
Faster CPU
More internal mem.
(i had a Herald before).

My father has a polaris, I wanted to flash a new Rom in order for him to get a taste of manila 2D etc... I was planning out on trying out 3LIT3 Rom which had Tomtom preinstalled with it, but the new version doesn't
So before I flash I wanted to know if there was a version of Tomtom optimised for touch cruise like there is for some other devices. If there isn't, which version would you recommend, TT7 or TT6?

I started with TomTom 6 and upgraded to TomTom 7... why? There are newer maps for TomTom 7. But you'll have to buy them... TomTom 6 cards won't work with the newer version.

Specifically..... I have found that TomTom 7.45 works excellent and flawlessly on my Sons HTC Touch Cruise.... (as well as my Tilt, partners Titan, and "spare" LG Incite)... I think this is the best TomTom I have found (like it much better tan the newerr 7.9x versions and better than 7.2x, and 6.x versions as well...

Can I buy the TT7-maps for the new Toch Cruise2?
Third Question:
Where can I get the voices for TT7. I Would need the German ones.
I tried a TT7-cab bevore, but it screwed my whole phone up. And it was without sound, if it was kind enaugh to start in one out of ten times.

So i've contacted Qik to ask when the programme will be available for the HD2. They basically said they don't know. I asked if the CAB from the Samsung Omnia II would work (because it runs Win Mo 6.5) and they sent me the CAB to test it. It installs but doesn't work.
Would anyone be able to get this to work?

is this program to do with recording live video on the internet? if it is i installed a version of this on my diamond 2, surely it would work on hd2 too. i got it from freeware pocket pc you should google it maybe try it out.
will this cab also work for the touch pro b/c I have a different version thats lower then this one??

Yes it is. No ther version works with the HD2......yet. I thought someone on this forum would be able to get the cab ( in the top post) to work with the HD2.
