Which program for g-sensor rotation? - Touch Diamond2, Pure Themes and Apps

Hi there,
I own the TD2 now and I tried several programs like g-config and gsen and they all only rotate one time counterclockwise. I know they work fine on TD1 for example, but not on TD2. Now i need to rotate clockwise for my TomTom. Is there a tool that rotates in all directions with the TD2?
Thanks.

[Edit] Gyrator works.

Yea i tried this as well. Gyrator works well. And i have tested on tom tom rotates well.

the best programm to rotate on the D2 is this

I tried Jmz Diamond2 G-Sensor.cab, but no success. I can't find it after installation and restart.
Any ideas?

ChangeScreen 2.5 works (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=468488). You can set which orientations are allowed, even per application.

Hi!
Thanks for this recommendation, works great.

PK

Screen does not change from Portriate to landscape

I was under the impresssion that the screen should change from Landscape to portraite automically. Unfortunately, It only switches to landscape when the keyboard slides out. I have tried all the different programs and none of them make any difference. Only get portraite when the keyboard slides out. Have checked the G-Sensor and it seems to be wroking. The game that uses the g-sensor still works fine.
Is my understanding just wrong?
Thanks in advance

Mine's coming tomorrow, but I understood that not all screens will rotate. The browser screen should tho, did on my diamond. Not sure which others do. Does it work when browsing? How about photos? Thats another one that goes to landscape.

The screen is not supposed to automaticly rotate, but you can achieve that by installing a little app callet gyrator!
Is gyrator free? I saw a similar app by Bepe which was renamed to FlipIt in some Diamond ROMS.. It's free in Swtos thread..

Carty..

[REQ]Creating Shortcut for rotate screen with a program

Hello there,
like u can read in the topic, i search for a way to create a program-shortcut with the extension, that this program starts by a 180° flip
its needed for (example...) TomTom. if i start tomtom, it had to flip to landscape mode.
Dont wanna use GSEN, 'cause it wont work with TomTom (gotta original HTC ROM). Dunno why it wont work, all other programs works fine with GSEN
however, it would be cool if someone got ideas to get a solution for this issue
thanks and greetz

If you used changeScreen, then you could force TomTom to be in any orientation you like when you open it? Would that help?
Cheers,
Steve.

hi
first, thanks for ur answer
is "changeScreen" a tool for WM6 or do u mean the changeScreen function of WM6 himself? The problem at the included Rotate-function of WM6 is, i have to map it on the Only one key (hold call), but this is mapped for torchbutton allready
greetz
I'm talking about this --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=465586

Landscade with TomTom7 (with gsensor)

Hello everybody...
I was looking for some parameters to put tomtom7 in landscape (or not) automatically with gsensor...
Perharps that can help someone...
Here are the good (and working) parameters to put in registry :
Go to HKCU/Software/HTC/HTCSENSOR/GSensor/
In : ModuleName
Create a String entry :
TomTom value : \program files\navigator\tomtom navigator.exe
(change \prgram files\navigator to your personal installation directory if needed)
In WhiteList
Create a String entry :
TomTom value : MunichWinClass (take care, case sensitive !!!)
I don't know why TomTom is called MunichWinClass !!! Everybody knows that Barcelona FC are the best, lolllll....
Do a soft reset (or turn off/on your phone) and... the most important... try it immediatly !!!
Enjoy...
Wow, I didn't think that would work. Will try it later on today. Thanks!
Work great, many thanks, mate.
works really fine - thanks!
(unfortunately this wouldn't work with iGO8 and Navigon MN7 which afaik both do not support switching between portrait and landscape while the apps are running)
Works beautifully, thanks a lot
Works GREAT, even with audiofix.
Now i have a stable device on my dashboard.

Where can I find HKCU/Software/HTC/HTCSENSOR/GSensor/ ?
try g-config
Hi guys,
have you tried the G-config app,
you can enable the auto landscape with tilt option on almost any program, just run g-config, then run the application you want to tweak.
A truly fantastic applcation, a big thanks to makeral.
Cheers,
Martin

That's true!
what G-config does is save us from adding mannualy applications to the white list, just like what is written in the first post in this thread.
does anybody know the value for Live Messenger?
TomTom works great with these register thing.

rotation Tomtom 7 works fine, thanks.
Just a question: it only rotates to left? or I did something wrong?
Only In Landscape
Anybody know of a way to get it so it ONLY works in landscape as when I go round a corner it keeps flipping between landscape and portrait - particularly bad on roundabouts!
Also, how do you change the set angle, 90 / 270 degrees etc?

I want to talk about sensorlock on Topaz.I've tried some versions eg 0.4/0.3,but none of them workedeek:nothing happened when click the icon in main menu or setting>personal menu).I guess it's due to the screen size, maybe it only works for VGA screens.

[APP] iGO8 true pitch to zoom (not Zoomer)

This is only first alpha version of applying pitch to zoom for iGO8.
Sharing this one for your's feedback and testing.
testing updated
installing
1. Import attached reg file to phones registry and reboot
2. Save attached HD2-iGO8-Multitouch-Landscape.exe or HD2-iGO8-Multitouch-Portrait.exe (depend on your iGO screen orintation) file on phone. Run it. Second run unloads program from memory. When tool is running try to zoom in iGO8 using multitouch. (possible you need to disable Zoomer VirtualDesktop for igo)
3. Report please is it work and how good it's works
here is video of zoming: youtube
p.s. thanx to l3v5y for hd2 multitouch research!

what you have in sys.txt, in [rawdisplay] section.
I think that driver must be GDI
Code:
[rawdisplay]
driver=GDI
it works so great in my HD2. just a little big slow.....but Thanx.
Does not work for me
ROM 1.43.479.2 (70124) WWE
iGO 8.3.4.102680
owen5782 - would you mind posting your sys.txt ?
Thanks
Whats the difference with this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=586150
It is supposed to add the real pinch to zoom functionality to zoom the map, not just this crappy workaround that zoomer does.
It work on 1.48 (71294) ITA
works great for me, it is very nice, thanks
i know that it is test version, but don`t forger to add autorun for your app

Great tool!! works for me! ROM Version 1.43 (GER)
I have two questions:
first: was anyone able to start the tool automatically with igo8?
second: Is there a way to zoom in "bigger steps" or faster (don't know how to describe, but I think you got the point)?
Thanks for replies and keep up with the gorgeous work!!!
Worked well for me on 1.48 rom with Leo 3D Driver Patch, without any real lag. Anyway will you be able to implement the same method on other apps (Resco Photo Manager for eg.) easily or will that require some hard work. Also maybe you can implement on you exe to call iGo or relevant app as well if it's residing in the same directory.
Thank you
for automatic startup, you need to create shortcut of that exe to /windows/startup/

I didn't mean to start it automatically with windows. I mean when I opden igo8 it should start, and when i close igo8 it should close, too. Know what i mean?

let you know
