Hello,
I have several programs installed on the SD card (not device) on my Raphael(Touch Pro). How can I add them to the program shortcuts in TF3D? They do not show up in the All Program list. I created shortcut of .exe files to the Program Files folder, but still do not see them in the All Program list.
3rd party programs (SPB shell) have options of adding files to shortcuts, but here I cannot figure it out.
Any help is appreciated.
Sincerely,
Mike

I've install Pocket Informant 2007 today to my Storage Card (as its so big). I have also configured Pocket Breeze to use this as default PIM, however the Calendar softkey when pressed gives the following error:-
\WINDOWS\PICalendar.lnk
The file 'PICalendar' cannot by opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate or one of its components cannot be found. You might need to reinstall or restore this file.
I can load it ok from its shortcut in the Programs menu and from pocket breeze so its not the application thats not working.
Any ideas on how to sort this out? Is it because its installed to the Storage Card instead of local memory?
Thanks
Mark
Just to be sure, check that the \WINDOWS\PICalendar.lnk is the same file that you use to open via the Programs menu.
I'm with the same problem.
Someone help us?
Tks.
I found the solution.
1.
a. Remove PICalendar.lnk from the windows directory.
After this you will get a new error that says it can not find the shortcut.
b. You will have to edit your registry, so you will need an editor. I use Total Commander.
GO TO
\HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\112
Change the "Open" value to
\Windows\AppButtons\Calendar.lnk
2.
a. Remove PICalendar.lnk from the windows directory.
b. GO TO \Windows\AppButtons\ Copy the file Calendar and rename it to PICalendar and move to \Windows\
It will solve the problem. At least solved to me

I bet the file is not in the Windows folder.
You could change it to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs\PocketInformant\PICalendar.lnk (sorry guessing here )
Or even better, use THIS tool to assign PI to your softkeys
Works on VGA and qVGA devices.
How do I Change calendar shortcut on manila 2d
2d to a different calendar program?
I.E. Pocket Informant. Thanks
if pocket informant doesn't require additional dlls from it's own dir you can rename it's exe to calendar.exe and copy it over the original calendar.exe
when you click the cal in M2D it will load it instead of the original one.
make sure you backup the original calendar.
also you can hexedit m2d.exe to point to a different prog, but you will need it in the windows folder.
(mine is set for thumbcal)
I have renamed to PI in the registry, but it still opens windows calendar. Anyone else get PI to work?
BUMP....Anyone???
anyone figure this out yet
I understand this really is a WM 6.1 question but I am really having a heck of a time getting any info on this, I have a number of ".cab" files which I no longer wish to use. They are line items in the install/uninstall view of WM6.1 syncing.
How can I remove the entries for these? I don't use nor will I install so I want them to go away.
There is no entry for them in the formal Uninstall location. So that is not the answer. Where are these dangling cabs kept?

Okay, further research has found an answer hopefully this will help someone else:
I am using C:\Program Files\CABviaActiveSync and the cabs are stored in that folder. Deleting them (I only deleted unchecked cabs) removed them from the Install ActiveSync program!

Just an update. With the latest version of WMDC (6.1), the location on the PC is C:\WINDOWS\WindowsMobile.
I see the WMDC is located there, but I don't see any cab files. Are they stored there as well?
I'm sick of having to manually copy and paste my shortcuts in my programs folder! one click, cop, go into folder paste etc etc. I've tried mounting internal storage via wm5torage so i can do it from my pc but it says "insert disk".
Any other way to get the windows folder to show up when syncing?
Ah I'm a idiot
I enabled viewing of "hidden" files and I now can see my windows folder..
Thanks!
