Any idea how to unlock this device ?
Phone locked to Orange spain. Any free tool? Or is it only via operator code? I tried the unlock tool in the sticky thread with no success. There's someone in the thread who says he unlocked this device with the same tool.
Any 'pay' solution here on the forum?

I'm in Canada, looking for a Z5, but I would very much like to obtain it from Bell, as it's *actually* the cheapest way to obtain it. I would like it to have the ability to unlock the bootloader... Does anybody have a Bell Z5 and can confirm whether or not you can unlock the Bell Z5's bootloader?
The Bell version is not able to be bootloader unlocked, sorry.

Well, the unlocking issue pertaining to the Indian Whyred units apparently have been resolved. I could successfully unlock using the official unlock tool.
Just sign in using an Mi account and enable OEM unlocking in Developer options. Ignore the 86006 error if it so appears. Continue the unlock process as instructed by the unlock tool.

It ain't resolved, but this seems to be the short cut method to get the phone unlocked.
86006 error was for binding the account

I have pixel-3 with last version of android installed , but now the issue is Im unable to enable oem from developer option, it is grayedout and I can unable it. any way out to make it enable so I can enable the bootloader . Please help.

This is a carrier version, so bootloader cannot be unlocked and there is no workaround.
I made the same mistake of purchasing the phone from a reseller and ended up with a locked bootloader. What's worse is that the battery has expanded with a few months and the back panel is coming off.
First and last time I ever purchase a phone from a reseller.
