like the title says, once i recieve multiple sms for the same thread while its open, and when i exit, it only clears one sms as read while leaving the rest marked unread. does anyone know how to fix this?
i searched in the xperia forums but no one seem to have responded or gave any opinions. so maybe they arent a heavy sms user as me. hope to see soem responses...thank you

yea but like i said before the r3 roms came out, i never had a problem with it. also theres no problem with in in windows 6.5 or stock roms. wonder if any hacker can diagnoise this.
So does anyone know the fix for this? been 6 months sinsce this topic started

After restoring a backup, the INBOX with 'SMS-inbox, 'SMS-
Drafts' and 'SMS - Sent Items' show a wrong number of
messages, which dont exist any more. Even "deleting" doesnt remove the false sms-list out of my MDA-II.
Anyone an idea how to resolve this problem?

Did you (except a Hard Reset) find a solution???

I had the same problem, no solution yet, except for a hard reset and manually installing all your apps again. the prog recommended in that thread does not work, it erased all my mail setings, accounts and my mms composer, could not get it back.
hey guys jsut thought i'd update this thread with some well hopefully useful info.
Just had the SMS count to 1, tried fixunread.exe it was still at 1.
then i deleted all the files except the folder (Attachments) in \windows\messaging (not exactly sure what these files are, read it on the forum to try)
the count was still 1.
I received an SMS and the count was still 1, but once i read that message it then went to no new messages

The small program worked well and corrected my problem on K-Jam "Wizard" with WM6

I am posting a thread after 3 hours of checking the internet to see if others report the same bug.
I am currently using a Kaiser with WM6. Just to describe my problem, when i enter the SMS application (mailbox) and i click on an SMS to read it, the bottom of the page is displayed first (usually blank screen), so everytime i need to use the scroll bar to see the message content which is on the top of the page.
I know it is not a major issue but it's still really annoying. As i said i have been looking everywhere but so far with no chance. This might be a registry problem, maybe caused by the installation of a program, but i don't have anything fancy on my mobile so far.
Anyway, thanks in advance for your help.

hey..just today i had the same problems...
i guess it has something to do with htc tweaker unintalled and installed it again last night and since then the problems occured
it is not a major flaw though..but annoying...

It's because you've enables smooth scrolling in PIE using one of the tweak programs.
In Tweaks2k2 you can disable this option and this will correct the issue.
Let me start by saying I searched the forums and google: "spell check," "spell check freezes," and others.
Only came up with one reference to a custom ROM...so here is the question.
When I'm in a text message and finished typing, I hit the spell check option and when it fizes the mis-spellings I hit send and...you guessed it...freezes the phone!
Is this a known issues (if so, like I said I search and will apologize ahead of time), but I'm curious to see if anyone else had any luck fixing...I like the feature but the feezes suck!

This happened since day one! I've hard reset with same results. Wondering if there is an issue similar to the xt9 issues where WM and HTC not playing nicely?

Cheers for that. Yea sorry I really was in a rush and is searched for contacts not recipients and didnt find much at all.
I see a lot of threads with the .eml issue on forwarding and opening but no solution. Is there A real fix for this issue that when your forward a email it puts it as a .eml and then can open it. Or if some one forwards it to you. it seems like this would be a no brainer for Google to fix or knows thats that a big issue. Unless they cant because of Microsoft.
